Abstract

This invention discloses a method, apparatus, device, and medium for determining road conditions for a transport vehicle. The method includes: determining road condition marker positions on a travel segment based on angle information obtained through a vehicle body angle measurement sensor; determining road condition characteristics corresponding to the road condition marker positions based on acceleration and angle information obtained through an inertial measurement unit; and determining the travel road conditions of the travel segment based on the road condition marker positions and corresponding road condition characteristics. This invention maps points of road condition changes onto the travel segment by combining the vehicle's angle and acceleration information, thereby accurately marking road condition marker positions and corresponding road condition characteristics on the path trajectory. This achieves autonomous identification and marking of road condition feature points based solely on the vehicle's own attitude response without relying on external maps or visual perception, improving the efficiency of road condition memory for transport vehicles.
