Abstract

This invention discloses a thermochromic hydrogel material, its preparation method, and its applications. The hydrogel material comprises a crosslinked polymer of acrylamide, with methylenebisacrylamide as the crosslinking agent and α-ketoglutaric acid as the photoinitiator. The polymer also includes tannic acid as an additive. The thermochromic temperature of the hydrogel material of this invention is 20℃-60℃. At low temperatures, it is white and opaque. As the temperature increases, the transmittance of the hydrogel increases significantly, exhibiting rapid temperature response and reversible color change. It also possesses certain mechanical properties and is stable. The hydrogel material of this invention has adjustable color-changing temperature and adjustable mechanical properties, making it a promising novel smart material with broad application prospects in fields such as anti-counterfeiting encryption, cold chain transportation, and temperature indicators.
