Actuator, control method of actuator, and valve-controlled water meter

Abstract

This application relates to the field of water meter actuator technology, providing a control method for an actuator and a valve-controlled water meter. The actuator is installed in the valve-controlled water meter and includes: a first housing, a second housing, a stator, a rotor, a rotating device, a detection component, and a control component. The second housing is sealed to the first housing; the stator is located within the first housing; the rotor is located within the stator; and the rotating device is used for valve transmission connection with the rotor and the valve-controlled water meter; the detection component is connected to the rotating device and is used to detect the rotational speed of the rotor or any gear in the rotating device; the control component is located in the first housing and electrically connected to the stator, and is configured to stop the stator from operating if the rotational speed of the rotor or gear detected by the detection component is less than or equal to a preset speed. This solves the problem of poor protection against water ingress in the actuator, which leads to a reduced service life of the valve-controlled water meter.
