A tapered quantum dot fiber optic temperature sensor based on a dual-functional layer and its fabrication method

Abstract

This invention discloses a tapered quantum dot fiber optic temperature sensor probe based on a dual-functional layer, its fabrication method, and its application. The probe includes a multimode fiber, comprising a multimode core and a cladding covering the multimode core. The end of the multimode core is a tapered fiber tip, the surface of which is coated with a down-conversion quantum dot film. An inorganic oxide layer surrounds the quantum dot film. This tapered quantum dot fiber optic temperature sensor probe maintains high accuracy and stability under physiological conditions, improving the reliability and stability of the testing device.
