A Weather Forecasting Method for Aircraft Flight Route Areas Based on Airborne Radar

Abstract

This invention discloses a method for regional weather forecasting of aircraft flight routes based on airborne radar, belonging to the field of aircraft flight weather forecasting technology. This invention comprises four steps with significant results: First, within two hours before takeoff, initial three-dimensional grid weather data is generated by fusing three types of data, solving the problem of coarse coverage in traditional forecast data; Second, during flight, the grid data is corrected through a multi-source data verification system to improve the real-time performance and reliability of the weather data, avoiding the risk of data distortion; Third, risk inflection points are identified based on real-time data and classified into 1-5 levels to achieve accurate risk assessment and avoid adaptation bias in generalized forecasts; Fourth, graded early warnings are triggered according to the risk level, which can provide early warning of local sudden weather risks, effectively ensuring flight safety while reducing unnecessary adjustments and improving flight route operation efficiency.
