A method and system for fast deployment of an embedded device operating system

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of embedded systems technology, and discloses a method and system for rapid deployment of an operating system for embedded devices. Addressing the problems of low efficiency, high cost, complex operation, and poor consistency in existing deployment methods, this invention employs a dual-storage media architecture. The target operating system and an automatic deployment script are stored in a first storage device. After the device boots a temporary operating system from this device, the script automatically completes partition cleanup, non-interactive partitioning, formatting, and system file deployment on the second storage device. This solution requires no special tools, achieves one-click deployment, significantly improves deployment efficiency, lowers the technical threshold and cost, ensures deployment consistency and reliability, and is adaptable to R&D, mass production, and field upgrade scenarios. It can be widely applied to embedded devices with removable storage interfaces and built-in memory.
