Communication method and apparatus

Abstract

A communication method and apparatus are disclosed, applicable to the field of communication technology. This method obtains homomorphic encryption configuration information through interaction between a terminal device and a radio access network (RAN) device. This configuration information guides the terminal device to perform homomorphic encryption on task data sent to the RAN device for processing, thereby reducing the risk of data privacy leakage. In other words, this solution provides a feasible approach to protect the data privacy of the terminal device in scenarios where the RAN device provides computing services to the terminal device.
