Abstract

The application provides a virtual machine publishing method and system, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: in response to a virtual machine publishing request, obtaining a target virtual machine to be published and a publishing constraint policy, and establishing a state monitoring object for communication with an external traffic forwarding unit; changing the deployment resource of the target virtual machine according to the publishing constraint policy, and obtaining the state information of the target virtual machine through the state monitoring object; when the state information meets the publishing constraint policy, triggering the external traffic forwarding unit to perform a traffic switching operation on the target virtual machine. By constructing the state monitoring object, the continuous acquisition of the state information of the target virtual machine is realized, and the communication association with the external traffic forwarding unit is established, so that the deployment resource change and the traffic switching process form a state-based linkage control mechanism, thereby executing the traffic switching when the publishing constraint policy is met, reducing the business risk caused by improper switching time in the publishing process, and improving the stability and reliability of the virtual machine publishing.
