An air-tight perfusion tube for cardioplegic perfusion

Abstract

This application discloses a leak-proof perfusion tube for cardioplegic solution perfusion, comprising a tube body and a conduit, with a connector integrating a bubble interception assembly between them. The connector includes an inner shell, within which an eccentric expansion cavity is formed. The top wall of the eccentric expansion cavity is arched, giving the cavity an asymmetrical cross-section that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, allowing bubbles to gather at the top under buoyancy. The inner shell extends to form a first tube section and a second tube section at its two ends, respectively. The bubble interception assembly includes an exhaust assembly located at the highest point of the arched top wall, an ultrasonic detection unit, a pinch-off valve, and a control unit. The control unit is electrically connected to the ultrasonic detection unit and the pinch-off valve. This application achieves passive bubble separation and discharge through the eccentric expansion cavity, with the ultrasonic detection unit monitoring the bubble content in real time. The control unit automatically controls the pinch-off valve to cut off the flow path based on the detection signal, reducing the probability of gas embolism.
