Floating platform and method of construction

Abstract

The application provides a floating platform and a construction method, which comprises the following steps: producing corresponding assembly components of the floating platform by using a cutting device, wherein the assembly components comprise planar plate units and pipe frame components; assembling the floating units by using the planar plate units and the pipe frame components; forming a total section of the floating platform by using a truss to butt the floating units, wherein each total section comprises at least two floating units; controlling the total sections to enter water along a transverse comb-shaped slide, adjusting the draught of each total section to a preset height, installing a limiting device on a butt joint surface of the total section, aligning the total sections by using the limiting device, and making the butt joint surface higher than a water line corresponding to the preset height; and welding the aligned total sections to form the floating platform. The application can reduce the area occupied by the floating platform construction, reduce the limitation of the construction factory and the transportation equipment, facilitate the rapid construction of the large floating platform, and improve the construction efficiency.
