A file system upgrading method, device and computer equipment

Abstract

The application relates to a file system upgrading method and device and a computer device. The method is applied to an embedded read-only file system and comprises the following steps: in response to a received upgrading request, a preliminary differential update area is formed based on a free storage area of the file system; a differential file of this time and description information of the differential file are determined; the differential file is a file formed by differential data between file data to be upgraded and basic file data; the basic file data is file data in an original file system which is not updated before this time; the differential file is stored in the preliminary differential update area according to the description information of the differential file, and this time is upgraded; and the basic file data updated during this time is erased. The method can solve the problem that the existing upgrading method of the embedded read-only file system cannot realize high-reliability upgrading in limited storage space under the condition that the flash memory storage space is limited.
