The application relates to the technical field of screen cabinet installation, and discloses a screen cabinet installation device and an installation method, which comprise a cabinet body, the bottom of the cabinet body is provided with supporting feet, and further comprise: a moving assembly arranged at the bottom of the cabinet body, the moving assembly comprises a rotating shaft, a linear displacement mechanism, a first sliding assembly and a motor; one linear displacement mechanism is arranged at each end of the rotating shaft, the motor is used for driving the rotating shaft to rotate, one first sliding assembly is arranged at each side of the linear displacement mechanism, and the first sliding assembly is movably connected with the bottom of the cabinet body; the linear displacement mechanism is used for driving the first sliding assembly to rotate; a supporting assembly is arranged at the outer side wall of the cabinet body, the supporting assembly comprises a supporting rod, the end, away from the cabinet body, of the supporting rod is provided with a second sliding assembly, and the supporting rod is rotated to realize that the second sliding assembly is in sliding contact with the ground when the cabinet body is moved. The application can not only realize the moving of the screen cabinet in the roller mode, but also has good stability during the moving.
