Abstract

The application provides a clock signal generation circuit and a system on chip, which comprises: a voltage generation unit adapted to generate an initial voltage based on a power supply voltage, a frequency division signal and a mirror current generated by a mirror unit based on a reference current; a voltage compensation unit adapted to compensate the initial voltage based on temperature change to generate a variable reference voltage; a voltage current conversion unit having a characteristic varying with temperature and being the same as the temperature variation characteristic of the voltage value of the variable reference voltage, and adapted to generate the reference current based on the variable reference voltage; a mirror unit adapted to mirror process the reference current and transmit the generated mirror current to the voltage generation unit and the clock signal generation unit respectively; and a clock signal generation unit adapted to adjust the frequency of the mirror current, generate a clock signal with a set frequency, and divide the clock signal to generate a frequency division signal. The above scheme can improve the stability of the clock signal and further improve the performance of the system on chip.
