Container fill illusion

Abstract

A show effects system includes a beverage filling system, a special effects system, and a control system. The beverage filling system includes a base that supports a container and a beverage controller to control flow of a beverage into the container. The special effects system includes one or more displays to display images and a half mirror that includes a first side and a second side and is positioned between the one or more displays and the container. Further, the half mirror permits viewing of a display transmitted through the first side at the second side and viewing of a reflection of an environment of the container at the second side. The control system includes a processor that receives a signal indicative of a presence of the container on the base and activates at least the special effects system or the beverage filling system based on the signal.
