Process for the production of twistless towels

Abstract

The application belongs to the technical field of twistless fabric and particularly relates to a production process of twistless towel. The production process of twistless towel comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a prepolymer from L-lactide, 1,4-butanediol and spiroethanediol; (2) adding o-xylylene diisocyanate to the prepolymer to prepare modified polyurethane; (3) preparing modified polyurethane filaments from the modified polyurethane; (4) preparing wrapped yarn from pure cotton single yarn, modified polyurethane filaments and polyvinyl alcohol filaments; (5) untwisting the wrapped yarn to prepare twistless wrapped yarn, and then weaving the twistless fabric; (6) degumming the twistless fabric in water phase with a certain temperature and pH, and then treating to prepare twistless towel. The application improves the defects of hair shedding and thread dropping of yarn in traditional twistless yarn fabric after multiple washing by designing a modified polyurethane filament and using the same to prepare twistless wrapped yarn.
