An apparatus and method for end cuffing of a denim pant waistband

Abstract

The application discloses a device and method for sewing the end of a jean waistband, wherein the device comprises a workbench, a control system installed on the workbench, a shooting device, a sewing head and a dragging mechanism respectively arranged on the workbench; the dragging mechanism comprises front and rear driving devices installed on the workbench, left and right driving devices installed on the front and rear driving devices and a dragging assembly; the dragging assembly comprises up and down driving devices installed on the left and right driving devices and a dragging plate installed on the up and down driving devices; the shooting device is located above the sewing groove; and the sewing head is located at the rear side of the dragging plate. The application can align the second sewing line with the first sewing line and make the second sewing line correspond to each side edge of the end of the waistband; the control system can instantly make a sewing path of the second sewing line according to the photo taken by the shooting device, and the sewing path does not need to be preset on the control system in advance, so that the device can be well matched with the waistband with slightly deviated ends.
