Abstract

The present application belongs to the technical field of Bactrocera dorsalis control, and relates to a transcription factor BarH1 in regulation of oviposition behavior of Bactrocera dorsalis and application of the transcription factor BarH1 in control of Bactrocera dorsalis. Research shows that the transcription factor BarH1 can specifically target and regulate expression of an odor binding protein gene BdorOBP19a-2 in Bactrocera dorsalis. When expression of the transcription factor BarH1 is silenced, the expression amount of BdorOBP19a-2 is significantly reduced, leading to abnormal olfactory function of Bactrocera dorsalis, thereby inhibiting oviposition behavior of Bactrocera dorsalis and reducing the amount of fruit oviposition, so that green control of Bactrocera dorsalis is realized.
