Abstract

The phase transition thermal response electrolyte comprises a lithium salt, a first solvent, a second solvent, a thermal decomposition type free radical initiator, and a reaction monomer; wherein the first solvent is one or more selected from propylene carbonate, trimethyl phosphate, triethyl phosphate and sulfolane; the second solvent is one or more selected from 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl ether, bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) ether, hydrofluoroether and fluorobenzene; and the reaction monomer is one or more selected from a bismaleimide monomer, a vinyl carbonate monomer and an acrylate monomer. The lithium ion battery electrolyte is the aforementioned phase transition thermal response electrolyte. The electrolyte of the application inhibits reaction at normal temperature and quickly triggers reaction at high temperature.
