Registration of service preferences and capabilities

Abstract

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for conducting wireless communications are described herein. The techniques described herein can establish a delegated service, which can serve as a registry center for devices (e.g., user equipment (UE) or network equipment, such as Operation and Management Entities (OAM) and Service Management and Orchestration Entities (SMO)) to register information related to service preferences for services offered to one or more networks and a list of services offered by the devices. One or more network entities can access the delegated service and can use the information to determine the service priority order for each service. Accordingly, one or more network entities can configure one or more services (e.g., network-provided services or UE-provided services) to one or more UEs based on preference information registered in the delegated service, network preference information or operator preference information, and the list of services offered by the devices.
