[0001] This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application No. 63 / 552,648 and U.S. Design Application No. 29 / 941,636, both filed on February 12, 2024, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0002] The various embodiments of this disclosure generally relate to systems and related methods for hair care tools, and more specifically to systems and methods for combing hair. Background Technology
[0003] Hair characteristics vary greatly from person to person. For example, hair can be fine, coarse, curly, wavy, straight, dry, and so on. Because of these different characteristics, different hair care tools are needed for specific hair types. Using the wrong tools can cause hair to break, become dry, frizzy, or have other adverse effects. Hair care tools are designed for use when hair is wet, tangled, dyed, trimmed, and in other situations. Proper hair care (and the use of the right hair care tools) helps promote healthy hair and often also brings emotional, physical, and mental health benefits. Summary of the Invention

[0051] The general description throughout and the detailed description below are merely exemplary and explanatory and do not limit the claimed features. As used herein, the terms “comprising,” “including,” “having,” “covering,” or other variations thereof are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements may include not only those elements but also other elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus. In this disclosure, unless otherwise stated, relative terms such as “about,” “basically,” and “approximately” are used to indicate possible variations of ±10% in the stated values. In this disclosure, unless otherwise stated, any numerical value may include possible variations of ±10% in the stated values.
[0052] The terms used below may be interpreted in their broadest and most reasonable manner, even when used in conjunction with a detailed description of certain specific examples of this disclosure. In fact, some terms may even be emphasized below; however, any term intended to be interpreted in any limiting manner will be so disclosed and specifically defined in this Detailed Description section.
[0053] Hair has many unique characteristics that influence the correct hair care procedures and tools used. For example, fine, curly hair and coarse, straight hair may require different tools for proper care. Furthermore, the same hair type may require different tools depending on the hair's current condition (e.g., whether it is wet, undergoing treatment, or being trimmed).
[0054] Embodiments of this disclosure may provide hair care tools, which include a loop for easy storage or allow carrying of the hair care tool. One or more embodiments of the hair care tool may be a comb. In other embodiments, the hair care tool may be a brush. In some aspects, the comb may be a wide-tooth comb. In other aspects, the comb may be a fine-tooth comb, and / or a combination of both wide-tooth and fine-tooth combs. Embodiments of this disclosure may provide unique handles; for example, weighted handles, ergonomic handles, and / or handles that can be used for parting hair. One or more hair care tools may contain bristles or comb teeth for direct interaction with the hair.
[0055] Figure 1A A top view of an exemplary hair care tool according to one or more embodiments is depicted.
[0056] The hairbrush 100 may include a fixing device (such as a ring 102), a handle 104 having a first end 106 and a second end 108, and a head 110. The head 110 may also include a body 112, a base 114 with a hole 116, and bristles 118. Figure 1AAs shown, the handle 104 can extend outward, such that the first end 106 is wider than the second end 108. That is, the handle 104 can gradually taper and become smaller as it moves from the first end 106 to the second end 108. In other aspects, the hairbrush 100 may include a handle with a substantially uniform size and shape as it moves from the first end 106 toward the second end 108 (e.g., the handle 104 does not extend outward). Alternatively, the first end 106 of the handle 104 may be narrower than the second end 108. The handle 104 may be hollow and / or made of a material configured to reduce the weight of the hairbrush 100. The handle 104 may have one or more geometric features (e.g., finger grooves) to facilitate operation, use, and manipulation of the hairbrush 100. The handle 104 may have a generally circular periphery or cross-section (e.g., Figure 1A (As shown). Therefore, the cross-sectional area at the first end 106 can be larger than the cross-sectional area at the second end 108 (and the cross-sectional shape can change along different parts of the handle 104, such as transitioning from a circular cross-section to an elliptical cross-section). Although Figure 1A A circular cross-sectional area is shown, but the handle 104 may include one or more other cross-sectional areas, including rectangular, trapezoidal, and / or combinations thereof. The shape and / or length of the handle 104 may be configured to allow the user to distribute the product evenly on the hair. The handle 104 may also be configured to allow the user to twist the handle 104, thereby twisting the hairbrush 100. The handle 104 may be made of a material configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties.
[0057] Ring 102 may be coupled to handle 104 at a first end 106. Ring 102 may be made of a different material from handle 104, and / or may be made of the same material as handle 104; for example, ring 102 may be made of metal (e.g., an alloy such as Zamak), and / or have a metallic finish. Ring 102 may also be made of a variety of materials. In some embodiments, ring 102 may be configured to emit light. For example, ring 102 may be made of or coated with a suitable luminescent material. Ring 102 may be hinged to handle 104 such that ring 102 is configured to move (e.g., pivot or rotate) between a closed position and an open position and one or more intermediate positions. In the closed position, ring 102 may be adjacent to (and / or otherwise adjacent to) the first end 106 (e.g., handle 104). Figure 1A As shown), this makes the ring 102 substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the brush 100. In the open position, the ring 102 can extend away from the first end 106 (as shown). Figure 1B As shown), this ensures that the ring 102 is substantially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the brush 100. The ring 102 can be used in the open position to suspend the brush 100 on, for example, a hook.
[0058] The body 112 may be made of the same material as the handle 104. Furthermore, the body 112 and the handle 104 may be a continuous piece. For example, the handle 104 and the body 112 may be molded simultaneously, thus providing the entire base structure for the hairbrush 100. Therefore, the handle 104 and the body 112 may be parts of the same structure. The handle 104 and the body 112 may be made of rigid materials (e.g., wood, metal, plastic, ABS, etc.) and / or may have a glossy finish. The handle 104 and the body 112 may be made of other materials and / or different materials from each other; for example, the handle 104 may be metal, while the body 112 may be plastic and / or wood. It is conceivable that the handle 104 and the body 112 may be any type of material combination that provides a rigid structure. Similar to the handle 104, the body 112 may be made of a material configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties. The body 112 may surround the base 114 in a generally rectangular shape. For example, as Figure 1A As shown, the main body 112 is a rectangle with rounded corners.
[0059] The base 114 may include holes 116 distributed throughout. The holes 116 may be hexagonal to provide a honeycomb design. The holes 116 may be circular, square, and / or any other shape to provide a unique design. The holes 116 may be configured to facilitate the flow of product, water, air, and / or liquid through the holes 116 and / or the user's hair as the user brushes their hair. The holes 116 may be configured, individually or in combination with the bristles 118, to assist in stimulating the user's scalp. Figure 1CAs shown, the base 114 may be dome-shaped, such that the surface of the base 114 in the middle is further away from the body 112 than at the edges (e.g., the surface of the base 114 slopes from the edges toward the middle). The shape of the base 114 may also be configured to assist in stimulating the user's scalp. The shape of the base 114 may assist the user in distributing the product onto the hair, untangling knots in the hair, and / or reducing damage to the hair. Bristles 118 may extend perpendicularly from the surface of the base 114, such as generally along a transverse axis, which may be generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Bristles 118 may be made of a flexible and / or low-static material (e.g., silicone). In some respects, bristles 118 may have a uniform length. In other respects, the length of bristles 118 may vary. In a further respect, some bristles of bristles 118 may have the same length, while others may be different. The shape of the bristles 118 may assist the user in distributing the product onto the hair, untangling knots in the hair, and / or reducing damage to the hair. The bristles 118 can have a single shape (e.g., identical to each other) and / or various shapes. The bristles 118 can be made of a material configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties. The bristles 118 can be made of a material suitable for reducing hair tangling, reducing hair damage, and / or promoting desired hair texture. The bristles 118 can be arranged in various patterns. In some embodiments, the bristles 118 can be arranged in a symmetrical pattern on the base 114. In other embodiments, the bristles 118 can be arranged on the base 114 in a desired shape. In some embodiments, such as... Figure 1A As shown, the bristles 118 can be arranged in parallel rows on the base 114 between the holes 116.
[0060] Figure 1B Depicting according to Figure 1A A bottom view of an exemplary hair care tool.
[0061] As described above, the ring 102 can be hingedly connected to the base structure of the hairbrush 100 at the first end 106 of the handle 104. The ring 102 can extend from various positions along the handle 104. The hinged connection between the ring 102 and the handle 104 allows the ring 102 to extend away from the handle 104, thereby providing a loop for storage and / or use (e.g., threading a hook through the loop, threading a strap through the loop, etc.). Figure 1A From above and Figure 1B As shown below, the body 112 may completely surround and / or cover the outer edge of the base 114. In other words, the body 112 may be formed around the base 114, and / or the body 112 may include a top portion 142 and a bottom portion 144, the top portion and the bottom portion being connected to each other with the base 114 located therebetween, as shown below. Figure 1E As shown.
[0062] Figure 1C Depicting according to Figure 1A A cross-sectional view of an exemplary hair care tool.
[0063] The brush 100 may also include a marking, which may be located on the handle to facilitate readability. The marking may be added to the brush 100 by embossing, laser etching, embossing, printing, stamping, or any method known in the art. The handle 104 may be at least partially hollow, having a cavity 128 extending into the handle 104 from the first end 106. The cavity 128 may be truncated conical in shape. The cavity 128 may provide a uniform thickness to the handle 104 and thus may have a shape substantially similar to the handle 104. Alternatively, the cavity 128 may be generally cylindrical. The cavity 128 may be used to accommodate a counterweight 148 (e.g., Figure 1E As shown, the counterweight provides a better center of gravity for the brush 100, which in turn provides a better feel for the user and reduces hand fatigue. In some embodiments, the counterweight may be removable; in other embodiments, the counterweight is non-removable.
[0064] Figure 1D Depicting according to Figure 1A Top and side views of an exemplary hair care tool.
[0065] Dimension 122 (e.g., the height of the brush from the body 112 to the highest point of the bristles 118) can range from about 0.5 inches to about 3 inches. Dimension 124 (e.g., the thickness of the bristles in the bristles 118) can range from about 0.025 inches to about 0.1 inches. Dimension 126 (e.g., the height from the middle of the base 114 to the highest point of the bristles 118) can range from about 0.4 inches to about 2.5 inches. Dimension 130 (e.g., the height of the body 112) can range from about 0.3 inches to about 0.8 inches. Dimension 132 (e.g., the width of the body 112) can range from about 2.5 inches to about 5.5 inches. Dimension 134 (e.g., the length of the handle 104 including the ring 102 in the closed position) can range from about 4 inches to about 6.5 inches. Dimension 136 (e.g., the width of handle 104 at the second end 108) can range from about 0.75 inches to about 1.5 inches. Dimension 138 (e.g., the width of hinge 150) can range from about 0.25 inches to about 0.5 inches. Dimension 140 (e.g., the width of handle 104 at the first end 106) can range from about 0.9 inches to about 2 inches.
[0066] Figure 1E Depicting according to Figure 1A An exploded view of an exemplary hair care tool. Figure 1F Depicting according to Figure 1E A perspective view of the assembled hair care tools.
[0067] The base 114 can be placed inside the body 112, so that the edge 146 can be completely covered by the body 112. The body 112 can be placed inside the bottom portion 144, and then the top portion 142 can be placed on top of the base 114. Figure 1E As shown, edge 146 can be designed such that edge 146 is pressed into base body 114. The width of edge 146 can be related to the width of body 112 surrounding base 114.
[0068] Furthermore, the counterweight 148 can be set and stored within the handle 104 of the brush 100. The counterweight 148 can be inserted into the handle 104 via the first end 106. Figure 1E As shown, the hinge connection described above can be provided by hinge 150. Hinge 150 can be a separate element received by an opening in handle 104, and / or hinge 150 can be integral with handle 104.
[0069] For example, in some embodiments, one or more portions of the hairbrush 100 are illuminated by a light source (e.g., an LED). For example, in some embodiments, one or more portions of the comb 100 include a heating element for controlling the temperature of the handle 104 and / or the head 110. In some embodiments, for example, one or more portions of the hairbrush 100 include a vibration-generating element for providing a massage or tapping function, and the weight 148 may be a battery, such as an AA battery, for powering the heater or vibration element.
[0070] The hairbrush 100 can be used for brushing hair. More specifically, the hairbrush 100 may be a detangling brush and / or a brush for wet hair. The handle 104 provides a surface for the user to hold the hairbrush 100. The handle 104 may extend outward at an angle to provide an ergonomic grip. The bristles 118 may be made so that brushing wet hair will not damage the hair (e.g., cause breakage). For example, the bristles 118 may be long and thin and made of a low-static material. The ring 102 allows the hairbrush 100 to be hung for storage and / or use. For example, the user can thread a hook through the ring 102. In addition, the user can also use the ring 102 to carry and / or hold the hairbrush 100.
[0071] Figure 2A and Figure 2B Exemplary hair care tools according to one or more implementation schemes are depicted.
[0072] The hairbrush 200 may include a loop 202, a handle 204 having a first end 206 and a second end 208, and a head 210. The head 210 may also include a body 212 and comb teeth 214. The handle 204 may include the loop 202 at the first end 206. The handle 204 may consist of a plurality of disc-shaped elements or discs 254. For example, as... Figure 2A As shown, the handle 204 comprises three generally flat discs 254, which are interconnected along a straight line through the middle of each disc 254. The discs may also have additional structures (e.g., support members 252) with increased thickness at the connection points to provide a more robust design, making them less prone to breakage. The support member 252 may be made of the same material as the handle 204, or it may be an adhesive material such as glue. The support member 252 may be flat, resulting in a smooth handle 204, and / or the discs 254 of the handle 204 may not have protrusions. Figure 2A As shown, the support 252 may be wider than the contact point of the two adjacent disks 254. Furthermore, a ring 202 may be attached to one of the flat disks 254 at the first end 206. The handle 204 is arranged in a straight line extending from the body 212. This will be about Figure 2B Further description. The ring 202 may be made of a different material than the handle 204 (or may be made of the same material as the handle 204); for example, the ring 202 may be made of metal (e.g., an alloy such as Zamak) or have a metallic finish. The ring 202 allows the comb 200 to be suspended for storage and / or use. For example, a user can thread a hook through the ring 202. Additionally, the user can use the ring 202 to carry and / or hold the comb 200. The second end 208 of the handle 204 may be connected to the body 212.
[0073] The body 212 may be made of the same material as the handle 204. Furthermore, the body 212 and the handle 204 may be a continuous piece. For example, the handle 204 (excluding the ring 202) and the body 212 may be formed simultaneously, thus providing the entire basic structure for the comb 200. Therefore, the handle 204 and the body 212 may be parts of the same structure. The handle 204 and the body 212 may be made of rigid materials (e.g., wood, metal, plastic, ABS, etc.) and may also have a glossy finish. The handle 204 and the body 212 may be other materials or not the same materials; for example, the handle 204 may be metal, while the body 212 may be plastic and / or wood. It is conceivable that the handle 204 and the body 212 may be any type of material combination that provides a rigid structure. The body 212 may have a generally elliptical cross-section. Alternatively, the body 212 may have a generally rectangular cross-section. The cross-section of the body 212 can be of various shapes, such as circular, square, etc.
[0074] The comb teeth 214 can extend from the body 212 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the comb 200 (e.g., the direction in which the handle 204 extends from the body 212). Alternatively, the comb teeth 214 can extend from a side of the body 212 different from the handle 204. The comb teeth 214 may be elongated components made of the same material as the body 212 and the handle 204. Alternatively, the comb teeth 214 can be made of a different material than the body 212. The comb teeth can be made of a material with low static electricity properties. The comb teeth 214 can be close to each other. The shape of the comb teeth 214 can assist the user in distributing the product onto the hair, untangling knots, and / or reducing damage to the hair. The comb teeth 214 can have a single shape and / or multiple shapes. The comb teeth 214 can be made of a material configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties. The comb teeth 214 can be made of a material suitable for reducing hair tangles, reducing hair damage, and / or promoting desired hair texture. The comb teeth 214 can be arranged in various patterns. The comb teeth 214 can also extend generally straight, such that they are perpendicular to the side of the body 212 from which they extend. The cross-sectional area of the comb teeth 214 at the base (where the comb teeth 214 extend from the body 212) may be larger than the cross-sectional area at the tip (where the comb teeth terminate). For example, the comb teeth 318 may taper gradually as they extend from the head portion 304. The comb teeth 318 may extend only within the length of the body 212; for example, no part of the comb teeth 214 may extend before or after the body 212, such as... Figure 2A As shown. Alternatively, at least a portion of the comb teeth 214 extends beyond the length of the body 212. In some respects, all of the comb teeth 214 may be of the same uniform length. For example, the comb teeth 214 may extend from the same plane of the body 212 and terminate in the same plane, such as... Figures 2A to 2B As shown. In other respects, all of the comb teeth 214 may have different lengths. In a further respect, some of the comb teeth 214 may have the same length, while others may have different lengths. For example, some comb teeth 214 may extend from a different plane from the other comb teeth 214 on the body 212, and / or terminate on a different plane.

[0076] The comb 200 may also include a mark that can be located on the body 212 for easy readability. The mark may be added to the comb 200 by embossing, laser etching, embossing, printing, stamping, or any method known in the art. Dimension 218 (e.g., the length of the connection portion between the discs 254 of the handle 204) may be about 0.25 inches to about 0.6 inches. Dimension 220 (e.g., the width of the base of the comb teeth 214) may be about 0.15 inches to about 0.4 inches. Dimension 222 (e.g., the thickness of the support 252 disposed between the first and second discs 254) may be about 0.2 inches to about 0.45 inches. Dimension 224 (e.g., the thickness of the narrow region of the body 212 where the support 252 overlaps) may be about 0.1 inches to about 0.3 inches. Dimension 226 (e.g., the width of the discs 254 of the handle 204) may be about 0.25 inches to about 0.8 inches. Dimension 228 (e.g., the width of ring 202) can be approximately 0.1 inches to approximately 0.4 inches. Dimension 230 (e.g., the width of the tips of comb teeth 214) can be approximately 0.05 inches to approximately 0.1 inches. Dimension 232 (e.g., the width between the center points of a pair of adjacent teeth 214) can be approximately 0.1 inches to approximately 0.35 inches. Dimension 234 (e.g., the height of comb 200 from the tips of comb teeth 214 to the body 212) can be approximately 3 inches to approximately 5 inches. Dimension 236 (e.g., the length of comb 200) can be approximately 7 inches to approximately 12 inches. Dimension 238 (e.g., the width of support 252) can be approximately 0.35 inches to approximately 0.6 inches. Dimension 240 (e.g., the distance between the center of the first disc 254 and the center of the second disc 254) can be approximately 0.8 inches to approximately 1.5 inches. Dimension 242 (e.g., the distance between the center of body 212 and ring 202) can be from about 0.85 inches to about 1.6 inches. Dimension 244 (e.g., the diameter of body 212) can be from about 0.8 inches to about 1.3 inches. Figure 2C As shown, dimension 246 (e.g., the length may be approximately 0.7 inches to approximately 1.1 inches). Dimension 248 (e.g., the width of the body 212) may be approximately 0.3 inches to approximately 0.8 inches.
[0077] In addition, such as Figure 2D As shown, ring 202 may include shaft 250. (As...) Figure 3C As shown in the cross-sectional view, shaft 250 can extend into the cavity of disk 254 of handle 204. Figure 2D As shown, alternatively, shaft 250 can extend from disk 254 to ring 202.
[0078] The hairbrush 200 can be used to comb hair. More specifically, the hairbrush 200 can be used to detangle hair without creating unwanted frizz. The hairbrush 200 can be used to help massage the skin while promoting healthy hair growth. The hairbrush 200 can be used on both dry and wet hair. The hairbrush 200 is suitable for fine hair, coarse hair, or any type of hair. Preferably, the hairbrush 200 is used for curly hair, but other hair types (e.g., wavy hair, straight hair, etc.) are also envisioned in this disclosure. The handle 204 provides a surface for the user to hold the hairbrush 200. The disc 254 of the handle 204 provides an ergonomic grip that helps relieve hand fatigue. The ring 202 allows the hairbrush 200 to be hung up for storage and / or use. For example, the user can thread a hook through the ring 202. In addition, the user can also use the ring 202 to carry and / or hold the hairbrush 200.
[0079] Figure 3A Exemplary hair care tools according to one or more implementation schemes are depicted.
[0080] The hairbrush 300 may include a body 302. The body 302 may include a head portion 304 and a handle portion 306. The body 302 may be made of a rigid material (e.g., wood, metal, plastic, ABS, etc.) and may also have a glossy finish. In other embodiments, the body 302 may include one or more geometric features, such as texture, to improve grip and handling of the hairbrush 300. The body 302 may be a single piece, such that the head portion 304 and the handle 306 are made of the same material. The head portion 304 and the handle 306 may be other materials or not the same materials; for example, the handle 306 may be metal, while the head portion 304 may be plastic or wood. It is conceivable that the head portion 304 and the handle portion 306 may be any type of material combination that provides a rigid structure. The head portion 304 may also include a loop 316, comb teeth 318, and a head tip 320. The ring 316 may be made of a different material than the body 302 (or may be made of the same material as the body 302); for example, the ring 316 may be made of metal (e.g., an alloy such as Zamak) or have a metallic finish. The ring 316 allows the comb 300 to be hung for storage and / or use. For example, a user can thread a hook through the ring 316. Additionally, the user can use the ring 316 to carry and / or hold the comb 300. The body 302 at the ring 316 may be wide enough that the ring 316 can be surrounded by the body 302. The head end 320 may be the head portion 304 and more generally the end where the body 302 terminates. Figure 3AAs shown, the head end 320 may not be completely straight. For example, the head end 320 may be rounded by the ring 316 and may extend generally straight to the side of one of the comb teeth 318. Therefore, the head end 320 may include the side of one of the comb teeth 318.
[0081] The comb teeth 318 may extend away from the head portion 304. The comb teeth 318 may be a thick, elongated element made of the same material as the body 302. Alternatively, the comb teeth 318 may be made of a different material with low static electricity properties. The shape of the comb teeth 318 may assist the user in distributing the product onto the hair, untangling knots, and / or reducing damage to the hair. The comb teeth 318 may have a single shape and / or multiple shapes. The comb teeth 318 may be made of a material configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties. The comb teeth 318 may be made of a material suitable for reducing hair tangles, reducing hair damage, and / or promoting a desired hair texture. The comb teeth 318 may be arranged in various patterns. The comb teeth 318 may be spaced apart from each other. For example, the comb teeth 318 may be thicker than the comb teeth 214 and have wider gaps between them. The cross-sectional area of the comb teeth 318 at the base (where the comb teeth 318 extend from the head portion 304) may be larger than the cross-sectional area of the tips of the comb teeth 318 (where the comb teeth terminate). For example, the comb teeth 318 may taper gradually as they extend from the head portion 304. The comb teeth 318 may also extend substantially straight. The comb teeth 318 may abut the handle portion 306; therefore, the comb teeth 318 may be provided along the entire length of the head portion 304, such as... Figure 3A As shown. In some respects, all the comb teeth 318 may be of the same uniform length. For example, the comb teeth 318 may extend from the same plane of the body 302 and terminate at the same plane. In other respects, all the comb teeth 318 may have different lengths. In a further respect, some of the comb teeth 318 may have the same length, while others may have different lengths. For example, as Figures 3A to 3D As shown, some of the comb teeth 318 may extend from a different plane from the other comb teeth 318 on the body 302, and / or terminate on a different plane. In some embodiments, the comb teeth 318 may extend from the body 302 in a configuration suitable for conforming to the user's scalp, such that the comb teeth 318 located at the bottom edge of the body 302 may penetrate deeper into the user's hair than the comb teeth located at the top edge of the body 302.
[0082] The handle portion 306 may include a first side 308 and a second side 310. The first side 308 and the second side 310 may converge and intersect at an endpoint 312. The endpoint 312 may be pointed but slightly rounded. The endpoint 312 may be pointed enough to help part the hair, such as when styling or treating it. The first side 308 and the second side 310 may be offset from each other by an angle A 314. Angle A 314 may be an acute angle. Angle A 314 may be an angle ranging from about 1 degree to about 20 degrees. As the handle portion 306 tapers and the first side 308 and the second side 310 intersect at the endpoint 312, the first side 308 and the second side 310 may move further apart from each other as they move from the endpoint 312 toward the end of the handle portion 306 and / or the end of the body 302 at the head end 320 (e.g., the body 302 becomes wider). In other words, the body 302 may taper and become smaller as it moves from the head end 320 toward the endpoint 312. Figure 3A As shown, the second side 310 at the handle portion 306 can be rounded at the intersection of the second side 310 and the comb teeth 318.
[0083] Figure 3B Depicting according to Figure 3A Different views of exemplary hair care tools.
[0084] The comb 300 may also include a logo, which may be located on the body 302 for easy readability. The logo may be added to the comb 300 by embossing, laser etching, embossing, printing, stamping, or any method known in the art. Dimension 324 (e.g., the diameter of the edge of the loop 316 extending into the body 302) may be from about 1 inch to about 1.7 inches. Dimension 326 (e.g., the outer diameter of the loop 316) may be from 0.8 inches to 1.55 inches. Dimension 328 (e.g., the distance between the centerlines of two adjacent comb teeth 318) may be from about 0.25 inches to about 0.45 inches. Dimension 330 (e.g., the width of the comb teeth 318 at their tips) may be from about 0.04 inches to about 0.1 inches. Dimension 332 (e.g., the height of the comb 300) may be from about 2.5 inches to about 6 inches. Dimension 334 (e.g., the diameter of the loop 316) may be from about 0.75 inches to about 1.3 inches. Dimension 336 (e.g., the thickness of the comb 300) may be from about 0.5 degrees to about 2 degrees. Dimension 338 (e.g., the offset angle between the first side 308 and the second side 310; angle A 314) may be from about 1 degree to about 20 degrees, or more preferably, from about 7 degrees to about 15 degrees. Dimension 340 (e.g., the width of the comb 300) may be from about 0.2 inches to about 0.6 inches. Dimension 342 (e.g., the length of the comb 300) may be from about 6.5 inches to about 12.8 inches.
[0085] The hairbrush 300 can be used to comb hair. More specifically, the hairbrush 300 can be used to detangle hair without creating unwanted frizz. The hairbrush 300 can be used to help massage the skin while promoting healthy hair growth. The hairbrush 300 can be used on both dry and wet hair. The hairbrush 300 is suitable for fine hair, coarse hair, or any type of hair. Preferably, the hairbrush 300 is used for curly hair, but other hair types (e.g., wavy hair, straight hair, etc.) are also envisioned in this disclosure. Due to the wide gap between the bristles 318 of the hairbrush 300, the hairbrush 300 may be more suitable for coarse hair. As discussed above, the handle portion 306 can provide additional functionality in addition to serving as a place for the user to hold the hairbrush 300. Since the end point 312 may have a pointed shape, the handle portion 306 can be used to part or sweep hair during grooming, haircutting, etc. The ring 316 allows the hairbrush 300 to be hung up for storage and / or use. For example, the user can thread a hook through the ring 316. The loop 316 can extend from various positions along the handle portion 306. In addition, the user can use the loop 316 to carry and / or hold the comb 300.
[0086] Figure 4A Exemplary hair care tools according to one or more implementation schemes are depicted. Figure 4E Exemplary hair care tools according to one or more embodiments are depicted, which are related to Figure 4A The publicly disclosed implementation plans are basically similar.
[0087] The hairbrush 400 may include a body 402. The body 402 may include a head portion 404 and a handle portion 406. The body 402 may be made of a rigid material (e.g., wood, metal, plastic, ABS, etc.) and may also have a glossy finish. The body 402 may be a single piece, wherein the head portion 404 and the handle portion 406 are made of the same material. The head portion 404 and / or the handle portion 406 may be made of a material configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties. The head portion 404 and the handle portion 406 may be other materials or not the same materials; for example, the handle portion 406 may be metal (e.g., an alloy such as Zamak), while the head portion 404 may be plastic or wood. It is conceivable that the head portion 404 and the handle portion 406 may be any type of material combination that provides a rigid structure. The size and / or shape of the handle portion 406 may be designed to assist the user in parting their hair. In some embodiments, the handle portion 406 may be relatively cylindrical. In some embodiments, the handle portion 406 may be a relatively truncated cone shape. The handle portion 406 may be relatively cylindrical and terminate in a relatively truncated cone shape to allow a user to part their hair. The shape and / or material of the handle portion 406 may assist the user in parting the hair in multiple directions and / or removing knots from the hair. In some embodiments, the handle portion 406 may be flexible to prevent discomfort for the user when parting and / or untangling hair knots. The handle portion 406 may be rigid so that the user can draw a clear parting line on the hair. The head portion 404 may also include a loop 416, comb teeth 418, and a head tip 420. The loop 416 may be made of a different material than the body 402 (or may be made of the same material as the body 402); for example, the loop 416 may be made of metal (e.g., an alloy such as Zamak) or have a metallic finish. The loop 416 allows the comb 400 to be suspended for storage and / or use. For example, a user can thread a hook through the loop 416. In addition, the user can use the loop 416 to carry and / or hold the comb 400. The head end 420 can be the head portion 404, and more generally, the end where the body 402 terminates. For example... Figure 4A As shown, the head end 420 may not be completely straight. For example, the head end 420 may be rounded by the ring 416 and may extend generally straight to the side of one of the comb teeth 418. Therefore, the head end 420 may include the side of one of the comb teeth 418.
[0088] The comb teeth 418 may extend away from the head portion 404. The comb teeth 418 may be elongated elements made of the same material as the body 402. Alternatively, the comb teeth 418 may be made of a different material with low electrostatic properties. The comb teeth 418 may be close to each other. For example, the comb teeth 418 may be thinner than the comb teeth 318 and have smaller gaps between them. The comb teeth 418 may also extend substantially straight. The comb teeth 418 may abut the handle portion 406; thus, the comb teeth 418 are arranged along the entire length of the head portion 404, such as... Figure 4A As shown. In some respects, all comb teeth 418 may be of the same uniform length. For example, comb teeth 418 may extend from and terminate in the same plane of the body 402. In other respects, all comb teeth 418 may have different lengths. In a further respect, some comb teeth 418 may have the same length, while others may have different lengths. For example, some comb teeth 418 may extend from and / or terminate in different planes of the body 402 than the other comb teeth 418. Figure 4A As shown, due to the thinness of the comb 400, the loop 416 partially interferes with a portion of the comb teeth 418. Most of the comb teeth 418 (e.g., those not directly below the loop 416) can begin on the same plane. Comb teeth 418 near the loop 416 can begin from a different plane, and in some embodiments, partially surround the loop 416 while providing sufficient body 402 between the loop 416 and the starting position of the teeth. Furthermore, as... Figure 4A As shown, all comb teeth 418 terminate on the same plane. The shape of the comb teeth 418 assists the user in distributing the product onto the hair, untangling knots, and / or reducing damage to the hair. The comb teeth 418 can have a single shape and / or multiple shapes. The comb teeth 418 can be made of materials configured for use in various environments and possessing elastic, waterproof, and / or heat-resistant properties. The comb teeth 418 can be made of materials suitable for reducing hair tangles, reducing hair damage, and / or promoting desired hair texture. The comb teeth 418 can be arranged in various patterns.
[0089] The handle portion 406 may include a first side 408 and a second side 410. The first side 408 and the second side 410 may converge and intersect at an endpoint 412. The endpoint 412 may be pointed but slightly rounded. However, the endpoint 412 may still be pointed enough to aid in parting the hair, such as when styling or conditioning. The endpoint 412 may be relatively rounded. In some embodiments, the endpoint 412 may be a relatively truncated cone. The shape and / or material of the endpoint 412 may assist the user in parting the hair in multiple directions and / or untangling knots in the hair. In some embodiments, the endpoint 412 may be flexible to prevent discomfort for the user when parting and / or untangling hair knots. The endpoint 412 may be rigid so that the user can draw a clear parting line on the hair. The first side 408 and the second side 410 may be offset from each other by an angle B 414. Angle B 414 may be an acute angle. Angle B 414 is an angle in the range of 1 degree to 15 degrees. Figure 4A As shown, angle B 414 can be small enough that the first side 408 does not lie above the ring 416 when near the head portion 404. In other words, the small angle B 414 does not allow the body 402 to be wide enough to accommodate the ring 416 within its contents. Therefore, to provide the ring 416, a portion of the body 402 circumferentially surrounds a portion of the ring 416 to ensure that the ring 416 is completely surrounded by the body 402. In other words, the body 402 bends around the ring 416, resulting in the first side 408 having a small protrusion near the head end 420.
[0090] As the handle portion 406 tapers and the first side 408 and the second side 410 intersect at the endpoint 412, the first side 408 and the second side 410 can move further apart from each other as they move from the endpoint 412 toward the end of the handle portion 406 and / or the end of the body 402 at the head end 420 (e.g., the body 402 becomes wider). In other words, the body 402 can taper and become smaller as it moves from the head end 420 toward the endpoint 412. In some embodiments, the handle portion 406 maintains a relatively constant diameter as it extends from the first side 408 to the second side 410. As shown, the second side 410 at the handle portion 406 can be rounded at the intersection of the second side 410 and the comb teeth 418, such as... Figure 4A As shown.
[0091] Figure 4B Depicting according to Figure 4A Different views of exemplary hair care tools. Figure 4F Depicting according to Figure 4E Different views of exemplary hair care tools.
[0092] The hairbrush 400 may also include a logo, which may be located on the body 402 to make it easily readable. The logo may be added to the hairbrush 400 by embossing, laser etching, embossing, printing, stamping, or any method known in the art.
[0093] Figure 4C and Figure 4D Depicting according to Figure 4A Different views of exemplary hair care tools. Figure 4G and Figure 4H Depicting according to Figure 4E Different views of exemplary hair styling tools. Dimension 424 (e.g., the height of comb teeth 418 undisturbed by loop 416) may be about 0.5 inches to about 1.3 inches. Dimension 426 (e.g., the length of comb 400) may be about 7 inches to about 12.5 inches. Dimension 428 (e.g., the width of comb 400 at the head end 420) may be about 0.1 inches to about 0.4 inches. Dimension 430 (e.g., the width of comb 400 at the end point 412) may be about 0.03 inches to about 0.1 inches. Dimension 432 (e.g., the outer diameter of loop 416) may be about 0.8 inches to about 1.5 inches. Dimension 434 may be 0.9 inches to about 1.75 inches. Dimension 436 (e.g., the outer diameter of loop 416) may be about 0.5 inches to about 1.1 inches. Dimension 438 (e.g., the offset angle between the first side 408 and the second side 410; angle B 414) can be from about 1 degree to about 15 degrees, or more preferably, from about 1 degree to about 8 degrees. Dimension 440 (e.g., the distance from the intersection of the handle portion 406 and the head portion 404 to the endpoint of the comb tooth 418) is from about 0.6 inches to about 1.5 inches. Dimension 442 (e.g., the width of the comb tooth 418) can be from about 0.02 inches to about 0.09 inches.
[0094] The hairbrush 400 can be used to comb hair. More specifically, the hairbrush 400 can be used to detangle hair without creating unwanted frizz. The hairbrush 400 can be used to help massage the skin while promoting healthy hair growth. The hairbrush 400 can be used on both dry and wet hair. The hairbrush 400 is suitable for fine, coarse, or any type of hair. Due to the smaller gaps between the bristles 418 of the hairbrush 400, the hairbrush 400 may be more suitable for fine hair. As discussed earlier, the handle portion 406 provides additional functionality beyond serving as a place for the user to hold the hairbrush 400. Since the endpoint 412 can have a pointed shape, the handle portion 406 can be used to part or sweep hair during grooming, cutting, etc. The loop 416 allows the hairbrush 400 to be hung up for storage and / or use. For example, the user can thread a hook through the loop 416. In addition, the user can also use the loop 416 to carry and / or hold the hairbrush 400.
[0095] Referring to all the ring openings discussed in this disclosure, although shown in the figures as fully closed circular openings, many different configurations are conceivable. For example, the ring opening may be partially closed, forming a slit to allow material, such as a wallet strap and / or lanyard, to be fed through the slit. In this configuration, the material around the ring opening may exhibit a degree of flexibility and / or compliance so that the material can be fed through the slit. The ring opening may be a partially closed opening, like a hook. The ring opening may be fully closed but includes latching mechanisms, such as carabiners, spring hooks, trigger hooks, or other related latches, to allow material to enter the ring opening while simultaneously securing it. Furthermore, although the ring opening is depicted as circular, other shapes are conceivable. For example, the ring opening may be polygonal, rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular, heart-shaped, star-shaped, etc. The ring opening may even be non-uniform or a combination of multiple shapes. For example, the ring opening may be a D-ring, for example, the ring opening may include a portion that is curved while another portion is substantially straight. In other words, the ring opening may be semi-circular, more specifically, a semi-circle.
