It should be understood that the accompanying drawings and examples are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of this document.

[0023] In the description of the examples in this document, the term "comprising" and similar terms should be understood as open-ended inclusion, i.e., "including but not limited to". The term "based on" should be understood as "at least partially based on". The term "an example" or "the example" should be understood as "at least one example". [0024] On live streaming platforms, viewers can join chat groups created by the streamer and interact with the streamer and other users through these groups. For example, viewers of a live stream can join a fan group created by the streamer. After joining the group, users can view messages posted by the streamer or other users, and can also send text, images, or videos to communicate and interact about the streamer or the live stream content.

[0025] However, in related technologies, when users want to join a chat group associated with the streamer, view messages in the group, or send messages in the group, they usually need to leave the current live stream interface and enter a separate instant messaging interface. After sending a message, the user needs to exit the instant messaging interface and return to the live stream interface, which interrupts the live stream viewing process and reduces the user's live stream viewing experience and interaction with the streamer.

[0026] Therefore, this paper provides an example of a scheme for displaying information. In this scheme, a terminal device can display a first live stream and a first component on a first interface, the first live stream being associated with a first user. In response to at least one operation associated with the first component, the terminal device can add a second user to a first session group, the first session group being associated with the first user. Then, while the first live stream continues to play, the terminal device can display a second component on the first interface, the second component being configured to display messages from the first session group, and the second component being further configured to send messages within the first session group.

[0027] In this way, the terminal device can display components for joining a chat group without interrupting the initial live stream. After joining the group, it can also display components for viewing and sending group messages within the same live stream interface. This allows a second user to complete operations such as joining a group, viewing group messages, and sending group messages without leaving the live stream interface. This reduces interruptions to the live stream playback caused by repeatedly switching between the live stream interface and the instant messaging interface, thereby improving the continuity of live stream viewing and enhancing the convenience of interaction between users, the broadcaster, and other group members.

[0028] Figure 1 A schematic diagram of an example environment 100 that can be implemented according to some examples in this article is shown. For example... Figure 1As shown, environment 100 includes terminal device 102. Terminal device 102 is a user-side device. Terminal device 102 may include a smartphone, tablet computer, smart wearable device, or laptop computer, etc. In environment 100, terminal device 102 can run application 104. For example, application 104 may include a live streaming platform, social platform, content publishing platform, content creation platform, or content editing platform, etc. For example, application 104 can display an information stream, which may include various types of media content. For example, the information stream may include live streaming, video, audio, images, text, or any combination thereof. Application 104 can provide instant messaging function modules and live streaming function modules to allow users to watch live streams, join chat groups, and browse and send messages in chat groups within application 104.

[0029] Because mobile devices have a small display area, simultaneously displaying a live stream player, a component for viewing instant messaging messages, and other components associated with the live stream on the same interface can result in these components being small in size, thus reducing the user's viewing experience. Therefore, in some examples, the terminal device 102 can be a device with a larger display area, such as a personal computer (PC), workstation, or laptop computer.

[0030] In environment 100, terminal device 102 can display a first live stream 110 and a first component 114 (also referred to herein as a group joining component) on a first interface 108 (also referred to herein as a live stream interface). The first live stream 110 is associated with a first user 112. For example, the first user 112 can be the host of the first live stream 110. In environment 100, terminal device 102 can be operated by a second user 116. The second user 116 can watch the first live stream 110 through terminal device 102. In some examples, terminal device 102 can display a live stream player on the first interface 108 and play the first live stream 110 in the live stream player. While continuously playing the first live stream 110, terminal device 102 can display the first component 114 on the first interface 108. The second user 116 can initiate a group joining process by triggering the first component 114 to join the conversation group associated with the first user 112.

[0031] In environment 100, in response to at least one operation associated with the first component 114, terminal device 102 can enable a second user 116 to join a first session group 120, which is associated with the first user 112. In some examples, in response to an operation on the first component 114, terminal device 102 can display a group list component, which can display the identifier of the first session group 120 and the corresponding join component. In response to an operation on the join component, the second user 116 can be joined to the first session group 120. The first session group 120 may, for example, be a session group created by the first user 112. In some examples, the identifier of the first session group 120 may be stored in association with the identifier of the first user 112. During the process of the second user 116 joining the first session group 120, the first live stream 110 continues to play. In other words, the joining process does not interrupt the playback of the first live stream 110, allowing the second user 116 to continue watching the first live stream 110 while performing the operation of joining the first session group 120.

[0032] In environment 100, while continuously playing the first live stream 110, terminal device 102 can display a second component 118 on the first interface 108. The second component 118 is configured to display messages from the first session group 120 and also to send messages within the first session group 120. In this document, the second component 118 is also referred to as the application messaging component. In the application messaging component, users can view messages sent by other users in application 104 or send messages to other users, not limited to those watching the first live stream 110. In contrast to the application messaging component, the live stream messaging component is configured to display messages sent by users while watching the first live stream 110, or to send messages specifically for the first live stream 110. The visibility of these messages is limited to within the first live stream 110. For example, the application messaging component can display a message list, group chat sessions, and a message sending component. Terminal device 102 can simultaneously display the player for the first live stream 110 on the first interface 108. While the first live stream 110 is continuously playing, the second user 116 can view the messages in the first session group 120 through the second component 118 and send messages in the first session group 120 through the second component 118.

[0033] In this way, terminal device 102 can display the first component 114 for joining the first session group 120 without interrupting the first live broadcast 110, and after joining the first session group 120, display the second component 118 for viewing and sending group messages on the first interface 108. This allows the second user 116 to complete operations such as joining the group, viewing group messages, and sending group messages without leaving the first interface 108. This reduces interruptions to the live broadcast caused by repeatedly switching between the first interface 108 and the instant messaging interface, thereby improving the continuity of live broadcast viewing and enhancing the convenience of interaction between the second user 116 and the first user 112 and other group members.

[0034] Figure 2 A flowchart of a method 200 for displaying information, according to some examples herein, is shown. Method 200 can be provided by a terminal device (e.g., Figure 1 The terminal device 102 in the middle executes. For example... Figure 2 As shown in box 202, the terminal device can display the first live stream and the first component on the first interface, with the first live stream associated with the first user. For example, in... Figure 1 In the illustrated environment 100, terminal device 102 can display a first live stream 110 and a first component 114 on a first interface 108, where the first live stream 110 is associated with a first user 112. For example, the first user 112 can be the broadcaster of the first live stream 110.

[0035] In box 204, in response to at least one operation associated with the first component, the terminal device can enable a second user to join a first session group, the first session group being associated with the first user. For example, in... Figure 1In the illustrated environment 100, in response to at least one operation associated with the first component 114, the terminal device 102 can enable a second user 116 to join a first session group 120, which is associated with the first user 112. In some examples, in response to an operation on the first component 114, the terminal device 102 can display a group list component, which may display the identifier of the first session group 120 and the corresponding join component.

[0036] In box 206, the terminal device can display a second component on the first interface while continuously playing the first live stream. The second component is configured to display messages from the first session group and also to send messages within the first session group. For example, in... Figure 1 In the illustrated environment 100, while continuously playing the first live stream 110, the terminal device 102 can display a second component 118 on the first interface 108. The second component 118 is configured to display messages from the first session group 120 and also to send messages within the first session group 120. The terminal device 102 can simultaneously display the player for the first live stream 110 on the first interface 108. While continuously playing the first live stream 110, a second user 116 can view messages in the first session group 120 and send messages within the first session group 120 through the second component 118.

[0037] In this way, the terminal device can display components for joining a chat group without interrupting the initial live stream.

[0038] In some examples, while the terminal device continues playing the first live stream, it can display a third component (also referred to herein as the live stream message component) on the first interface. This third component is configured to display and send messages associated with the first live stream. In this way, users can participate in real-time interactions within the live stream while watching it and joining group chats, thereby improving user interaction efficiency.

[0039] In some examples, the terminal device can simultaneously display the first live stream, the second component, and the third component on the first interface. This improves the user's message viewing efficiency.

[0040] In some examples, the third component is displayed in the first area. When the second component is displayed on the first interface, the terminal device can de-display the third component. Then, the terminal device can display the second component in the first area. In this way, the area used to display the live message component can be reused to display the application message component, thereby saving display space on the live interface so that the first live or application message component can be displayed at a larger size.

[0041] In some examples, the terminal device may display a fourth component (also referred to herein as a message notification component) on the first screen. In response to an action on the fourth component, the terminal device may display a second component. This allows users to open the application message component as needed, even if they have joined a conversation group, improving the ease of displaying conversation groups.

[0042] In some examples, the terminal device can display a first message (also referred to herein as a message notification) on a first interface. This first message is associated with a fourth component, indicating the existence of unread messages, which are then associated with a second user. This approach promptly reminds users to check their associated group messages, thereby reducing the likelihood of them missing conversation messages.

[0043] Figure 3 A schematic diagram of Example 300 of a live streaming interface, based on some examples in this article, is shown. Figure 3As shown, Example 300 includes a live streaming interface 302. The live streaming interface 302 may include a live streaming player 304, a live streaming message component 306, an application message component 308, and a message notification component 310. The live streaming player 304 can be used to play a first live stream associated with a first user. The live streaming message component 306 can be used to display live streaming messages associated with the first live stream and can receive messages input by a second user to send the input messages to the first live stream. The application message component 308 can be used to display messages in a first session group associated with the first user and can receive messages input by a second user to send the input messages to the first session group. During this process, the live streaming player 304 can continuously play the first live stream. Therefore, the second user can watch the first live stream in the live streaming interface 302 while viewing or sending live streaming messages and group messages without leaving the live streaming interface 302.

[0044] In some examples, the live stream player 304, the live stream message component 306, and the application message component 308 can be displayed simultaneously on the live stream interface 302. For instance, the live stream player 304, the live stream message component 306, and the application message component 308 can be displayed in different areas of the live stream interface 302. The terminal device can adjust the position, size, or arrangement of each component according to the size of the live stream interface 302, the screen size of the terminal device, or user settings.

[0045] In other examples, the live message component 306 and the application message component 308 may not be displayed simultaneously. For example, the live message component 306 may be displayed in the first area of the live interface 302. In response to an operation to open the application message component 308, the terminal device can de-display the live message component 306 and display the application message component 308 in the first area. In response to an operation to return to the live message component 306, the terminal device can de-display the application message component 308 and redisplay the live message component 306 in the first area. Thus, switching between the live message component 306 and the application message component 308 can be achieved without affecting the continuous playback of the first live stream by the live player 304.

[0046] In Example 300, the message notification component 310 can be used to notify a second user of unread messages associated with the second user, and can also serve as an entry point for opening the application messaging component 308. For example, in response to an action by the second user on the message notification component 310, the terminal device can display the application messaging component 308. In some examples, the message notification component 310 can be displayed when the application messaging component 308 is not displayed. In other examples, the message notification component 310 can also be displayed simultaneously with the application messaging component 308. Message notification information 312 can be displayed in or near the message notification component 310. Message notification information 312 can indicate the existence of unread messages associated with the second user. Unread messages associated with the second user can include unread messages from a first session group. For example, message notification information 312 can include the number of unread messages, the identifier of the message sender, at least a portion of the message content, or an identifier indicating that the second user has been mentioned, etc. In response to an operation on message notification component 310 or message notification information 312, the terminal device can display application message component 308 and locate the corresponding unread message in application message component 308.

[0047] In some related technologies, in response to user actions regarding the group joining component, terminal devices typically display a group list component with a uniform format and fixed content, without differentiating it based on the group information associated with the broadcaster. For example, regardless of whether the broadcaster is associated with one or more groups, whether a group is full, whether joining a group requires an application, or whether the user meets the group joining criteria, the terminal device displays the same group list component. Therefore, users need to perform additional operations within the group list component to determine available groups and the corresponding joining method, increasing the complexity of the group joining process.

[0048] Therefore, in some examples, when a second user joins a first conversation group in response to at least one operation associated with the first component, the terminal device can obtain group information associated with at least one conversation group, which is associated with the first user and includes the first conversation group. In response to an operation on the first component, the terminal device can display a fifth component (also referred to herein as a group list component or a group entry action panel) based on the group information. This fifth component is configured to allow the second user to join at least one conversation group. Furthermore, in response to at least one operation associated with the fifth component, the terminal device can allow the second user to join the first conversation group. In this way, the fifth component can adapt to the actual conversation groups and their states associated with the first user, rather than always displaying a group list component with a fixed format and content. Thus, the terminal device can provide the second user with a group display method and entry point that matches the current group situation, reducing unnecessary group selection or information viewing operations, lowering the complexity of the group entry operation, and improving the efficiency of users joining conversation groups.

[0049] Figure 4 A flowchart of an example process 400 for joining a broadcaster's conversation group, based on some examples in this article, is shown. Figure 4 As shown in box 402, the terminal device can display the first live stream and group joining components on the live stream interface (e.g., Figure 1 (The first component 114). For example, the terminal device can display the streamer's identifier on the live streaming interface. In response to an operation on the streamer's identifier, the terminal device can display the streamer's profile card on the live streaming interface, which may display a group joining component.

[0050] In box 404, in response to an operation on the "Join Groups" component, the terminal device can obtain group information associated with the broadcaster. For example, in response to an operation on the "Join Groups" component, the terminal device can obtain group information associated with the broadcaster before displaying the group list component. This group information may include, for example, the number of groups publicly displayed by the broadcaster, whether the group is full, whether an application is required to join the group, or the conditions for joining the group.

[0051] In box 406, the terminal device can display the group list component based on group information. For example, the terminal device can obtain multiple conversation groups publicly displayed by the broadcaster, where at least some of these conversation groups have different group information. For instance, some of these conversation groups may be full, some may have joining conditions, and some may require a joining application to be submitted and approved by the group administrator before joining is allowed. The terminal device can determine the display format and content of each group when displaying them together in the group list component based on this group information.

[0052] In box 408, in response to at least one operation associated with the group list component, the terminal device can enable a user to join a conversation group. For example, the group list component can display multiple join components corresponding to multiple conversation groups. The states or functions corresponding to the multiple join components can differ. For example, some join components can be disabled. Some join components can submit a join request when triggered. Some join components can display join conditions when triggered. Furthermore, some join components can enable the user to join the corresponding conversation group when triggered. In this way, the group list component can adapt to the conversation groups and their states actually associated with the broadcaster.

[0053] Figure 5 A schematic diagram of an example system 500 for displaying information, based on some examples in this document, is shown. For example... Figure 5 As shown, system 500 includes a client layer, a service and decision layer, and a basic capability layer. The client layer may include a live streaming interface 502, a scene recognition module 504, a group entry module 506, and a session container 508. The service and decision layer may include a public group metadata service 510, a group entry rule decision module 512, a group entry service 514, and an instant messaging session service 516. The basic capability layer may include a data reporting service 518 and a relationship and identity service 520. It should be understood that... Figure 5 The system architecture shown is merely exemplary; system 500 may include more, fewer, or different modules, and Figure 5 A module can be broken down into multiple modules, or multiple modules can be integrated into a single module.

[0054] The live streaming interface 502 can be used to display the first live stream associated with the first user and the first component for joining a session group. In response to the loading of the live streaming interface 502, the display of the first component, or an operation on the first component, the terminal device can request group information associated with the first user from the public group metadata service 510. The public group metadata service 510 can return group information for at least one session group. Group information may include, for example, a group identifier, group name, number of groups, number of group members, group capacity, current user's membership status, whether a join request needs to be submitted, join conditions, and whether the current user meets the join conditions.

[0055] The scene recognition module 504 can identify the current live streaming scene and the status information associated with it. For example, the scene recognition module 504 can determine whether the current user is the host of the first live stream, the relationship between the current user and the host, the identifier of the current live stream, the identifier of the host, the identifier of the current user, and the terminal type, etc. The scene recognition module 504 can provide the identified status information to the group entry rule decision module 512, so that the group entry rule decision module 512 can generate a group entry decision based on the status information and the group information provided by the public group metadata service 510.

[0056] The group entry rule decision module 512 can determine the display method of the group entry module 506 and the entry action for the corresponding conversation group based on group information and status information. For example, the group entry rule decision module 512 can determine whether to directly display one conversation group or multiple conversation groups based on the number of conversation groups associated with the broadcaster. The group entry rule decision module 512 can also determine whether the corresponding conversation group is available for joining based on the number of group members and the group capacity. The group entry rule decision module 512 can also determine whether a user can directly join the conversation group or needs to submit a joining application based on the application information. In addition, the group entry rule decision module 512 can also determine whether the current user meets the joining conditions based on the joining conditions and the current user status. The group entry rule decision module 512 can generate a group entry decision including component text, operable status, target action, and reason information, and provide the group entry decision to the group entry module 506.

[0057] The group entry module 506 can display corresponding group information and joining components based on the group entry decision generated by the group entry rule decision module 512. For example, when a broadcaster is associated with only one conversation group, the group entry module 506 can directly display that conversation group and its joining component. When a broadcaster is associated with multiple conversation groups, the group entry module 506 can display multiple conversation groups and their respective joining components. When a conversation group is full, requires an application, or the current user does not yet meet the joining conditions, the group entry module 506 can display a group full notification, an application component, or joining condition information, respectively.

[0058] In response to an operation associated with the join component in the group entry module 506, the group entry module 506 can submit a join request or application to the join service 514. The join service 514 can invoke the relationship and identity service 520 to verify the current user's information, the relationship between the current user and the broadcaster, and the membership relationship between the current user and the session group. The join service 514 can also verify the group capacity, application mode, and join conditions, and based on the verification results, establish group member relationships, submit a join application, or return a reason for failure to join.

[0059] The data reporting service 518 can receive and record relevant operation data and processing results from the system 500. For example, the group entry rule decision module 512, the group entry module 506, or the group entry service 514 can report information such as the group entry application result, the group entry result, or the corresponding failure reason to the data reporting service 518.

[0060] After the second user successfully joins the first session group, the instant messaging session service 516 can determine the corresponding session based on the group identifier of the first session group and instruct the session container 508 to display the session. While the live stream player in the live stream interface 502 continues playing the first live stream, the session container 508 can display messages from the first session group in the live stream interface 502, and receive and send messages from the first session group.

[0061] In some examples, the group information includes the number of groups associated with the first user. When displaying the fifth component based on the group information, in response to the number of groups being equal to one, the terminal device can display second information and a sixth component on the fifth component. The second information is associated with the first session group, and the sixth component is configured to join the first session group. In this way, the steps for selecting groups can be reduced, thereby reducing the operations required for the user to join a group.

[0062] In some examples, when displaying the fifth component based on the number of groups, in response to a number of groups greater than one, the terminal device can display multiple session groups and multiple components on the fifth component. These multiple session groups are associated with a first user, include the first session group, and are configured to allow a second user to join a corresponding session group within the multiple session groups. This approach allows users to view and select the session groups they wish to join, improving the flexibility and convenience of joining groups in multi-group scenarios.

[0063] In some examples, at least one session group also includes a second session group, whose group information includes the number of members in the second session group. When displaying the fifth component based on the group information, the terminal device can display the second session group on the fifth component. In response to the number of members meeting a first threshold, the terminal device can display third information indicating that joining the second session group is not possible. In this way, the group capacity status can be accurately presented to the user, reducing the likelihood of users performing invalid join operations on full groups.

[0064] In some examples, at least one session group also includes a second session group. The group information includes application information for the second session group, indicating whether an application is required to join. When displaying the fifth component based on the group information, the terminal device can display the second session group on the fifth component. In response to the application information indicating that an application is required to join the second session group, the terminal device can display a seventh component on the fifth component, configured to submit an application. This approach aligns the group joining process with the group's approval model, reducing the steps required for users to submit a group joining application.

[0065] In some examples, at least one session group also includes a second session group, whose group information includes the joining conditions for the second session group. When displaying the fifth component based on the group information, the terminal device can display the second session group and the joining conditions on the fifth component. In this way, users can understand the relevant conditions before performing the joining operation, thereby reducing invalid operations caused by not meeting the conditions.

[0066] In some examples, the terminal device can display an eighth component on top of the fifth component, corresponding to the second session group. In response to an action on the eighth component, the terminal device can display the joining conditions and a first status, indicating whether the second user meets the joining conditions. This allows users to intuitively understand their match with the joining conditions, facilitating subsequent actions.

[0067] In some examples, in response to a second user not meeting the joining conditions, the terminal device can display a ninth component configured to perform an interactive action associated with the first user, which then enables the second user to meet the joining conditions. This approach guides the second user through the interactive action associated with the joining conditions, providing a clear path to fulfilling those conditions and increasing the likelihood of the user joining the session group.

[0068] Figure 6 A schematic diagram of an example process 600 for displaying information, according to some examples in this document, is shown. At box 602, the terminal device can obtain the live streaming context and information associated with the user. The live streaming context may include, for example, a live streaming room identifier, an identifier of a first user, an identifier of a second user, and the relationship between the second user and the first user. The information associated with the user may indicate whether the second user is the host of the first live stream.

[0069] In box 604, the terminal device can determine whether the second user is the host of the first live stream based on the live stream context and information associated with the user. In response to determining that the second user is the host of the first live stream, process 600 can proceed to box 606.

[0070] At box 606, the terminal device may not display the join component corresponding to the session group. This reduces the likelihood of the first user triggering an invalid operation to join a session group associated with themselves. In response to determining that the second user is not the host of the first live broadcast, process 600 can proceed to box 608.

[0071] In box 608, the terminal device can obtain a list of groups publicly displayed by the first user. This list of groups may include at least one session group associated with the first user, and may include information such as the group identifier, group name, and number of groups for each session group.

[0072] In box 610, the terminal device can determine whether the number of groups in the group list is equal to one. In response to the number of groups being equal to one, process 600 can proceed to box 612. At box 612, the terminal device can directly identify a unique session group and construct an in-group action panel for that session group. The in-group action panel can display information about the session group and an in-group component for joining the session group. This eliminates the need for the terminal device to first display a group list component for the second user to select a session group. In this way, the operations required for the second user to join a session group are reduced. In response to the number of groups not being equal to one (e.g., the number of groups is greater than one), process 600 can proceed to box 614.

[0073] At box 614, the terminal device may display a group list component. The group list component may display multiple session groups publicly displayed by the first user, and multiple join components corresponding to each session group. In response to an operation on one of the multiple session groups or its corresponding join component, the terminal device may identify that session group as the first session group. In some examples, when the number of groups is zero, the terminal device may display a message in the group list component indicating that no public groups are available to join.

[0074] In box 616, the terminal device can obtain group information associated with the determined first session group. This group information may include the number of members in the first session group, member capacity, application information, joining conditions, whether the second user meets the joining conditions, and whether the second user is already a member of the first session group. For the single session group directly selected in box 612, this single session group can be determined as the first session group. For the multiple session groups displayed in box 614, the session group selected by the second user can be determined as the first session group.

[0075] In box 618, the terminal device can determine whether the first session group is full based on the number of members and the member capacity of the first session group. For example, the terminal device can determine whether the number of members has reached a first threshold corresponding to the member capacity. In response to determining that the first session group is full, process 600 can proceed to box 620.

[0076] At box 620, the terminal device may disable the join component corresponding to the first session group and display a message indicating that it is unable to join the first session group. For example, the join component may be grayed out, and the message may include "Group is full". In response to determining that the first session group is not full, process 600 may proceed to box 622.

[0077] In box 622, the terminal device can determine, based on the application information and joining conditions, whether an application needs to be submitted to join the first session group or whether the second user has not yet met the joining conditions. In response to determining that an application needs to be submitted or that the second user has not yet met the joining conditions, process 600 can proceed to box 624.

[0078] In box 624, the terminal device may display the application component or the joining conditions for the first session group. For example, when joining the first session group requires submitting an application, the terminal device may display an application component configured to submit a group joining application. When the second user has not yet met the joining conditions, the terminal device may display the joining conditions, the status of whether the second user meets the joining conditions, and a component for performing relevant interactive operations. These interactive operations may include, for example, following the first user, joining the first user's fan page, sending virtual resources to the first user, or increasing the interaction level associated with the first user. After the group joining application is approved or the second user meets the joining conditions by performing an interactive operation, process 600 may proceed to box 626. In response to determining that joining the first session group does not require submitting an application and the second user meets the joining conditions, process 600 may directly proceed to box 626.

[0079] In box 626, the terminal device can respond to a corresponding join operation to add the second user to the first session group. For example, the terminal device can send a join request to the join service, including the identifier of the second user and the identifier of the first session group. Then, the terminal device can update the second user's group membership status based on the result returned by the join service.

[0080] In box 628, after the second user successfully joins the first conversation group, the terminal device can display the application message component while continuously playing the first live stream, and position the application message component to the conversation in the first conversation group. The application message component can display messages in the first conversation group and can receive messages entered by the second user to send to the first conversation group. In this way, the second user can join the first conversation group and participate in group chat without leaving the live stream interface, thereby reducing the interruption of the live stream viewing process due to interface switching.

[0081] Figures 7A to 7D The illustration shows example 700 of watching a live stream, joining a group, and sending group messages on a live streaming interface, based on some examples in this article. Figure 7A As shown, Example 700 includes a live streaming interface 702 associated with broadcaster A. A terminal device can display a live streaming player 704 and a live streaming message component 706 on the live streaming interface 702. The live streaming player 704 can continuously play broadcaster A's live stream. The live streaming message component 706 can display messages sent by users watching the live stream within the live streaming space. Furthermore, the live streaming message component 706 can display an input component 707. Users can send messages related to the current live stream through the input component 707.

[0082] In addition, the live streaming interface 702 can also display the identifier 708 of the broadcaster A. For example, the identifier 708 may include the broadcaster A's avatar and name. In example 700, in response to an operation on the identifier 708, the terminal device can display an information component 710 on the live streaming interface 702 while the live stream is continuously playing. The information component 710 can display the broadcaster A's profile and a group joining component 712. In response to an operation on the group joining component 712, the terminal device can determine whether the current user is broadcaster A. If the current user is broadcaster A, the terminal device can display a group list component. The group list component can display the conversation groups that broadcaster A has publicly displayed, but does not display the corresponding join component. If broadcaster A has not yet created a conversation group, a create component can be displayed on the group list component. In response to at least one operation on the create component, the terminal device can create a conversation group associated with broadcaster A. If the current user is not broadcaster A, the terminal device can determine whether the number of conversation groups that broadcaster A has publicly displayed is equal to one. If the number of groups is equal to one, the terminal device can display the group joining action panel for that unique group. The group joining action panel can display the group's detailed information and the corresponding joining component.

[0083] like Figure 7BAs shown, if the number of groups is greater than one, the terminal device can display the group list component 714 on the live broadcast interface 702 while continuously playing the live stream. The terminal device can obtain group information of multiple groups publicly displayed by the broadcaster A, and display the group list component 714 based on this group information. In example 700, the groups associated with broadcaster A include group A, group B, group C, group D, and group E.

[0084] Group A does not require an application to join, nor does it have any joining conditions. Therefore, the joining component 716 corresponding to Group A can be displayed in the group list component 714. In response to an operation on the joining component 716, the current user can be added to Group A. Then, while the live stream is continuously playing, the terminal device can display an application message component on the live stream interface 702, and display the conversation interface of Group A in the application message component.

[0085] Group B requires a join request, so the corresponding request component 718 can be displayed in the group list component 714. In response to an action on request component 718, the terminal device can send a request for the current user to join Group B. After the request is approved by broadcaster A or the administrator of Group B, the current user can be added to Group B.

[0086] Group C is configured with joining conditions, which may include, for example, following broadcaster A or joining broadcaster A's fan group. Therefore, the joining conditions for group C and the corresponding joining component 720 can be displayed in the group list component 714. In response to an operation on the joining component 720, the terminal device can display detailed information about group C and all joining conditions. If the current user meets all joining conditions, the current user can join group C by triggering the corresponding component.

[0087] The number of members in group D has reached the capacity threshold of group D. Therefore, a prompt message 722 can be displayed on the group list component 714, indicating that group D is full and no one can join group D.

[0088] Group E is a group that the current user has already joined. Therefore, the message sending component 724 can be displayed on the group list component 714. In response to an operation on the message sending component 724, the terminal device can display the application message component on the live broadcast interface 702 while the live broadcast is continuously playing, and display the conversation interface of group E in the application message component.

[0089] In example 700, in response to an operation on the joining component 720, the terminal device can display the joining action panel 726 on the live broadcast interface 702 while the live broadcast is continuously playing, such as... Figure 7CAs shown. It should be understood that the group entry action panel 726 and the group list component 714 can be the same component or different components. The group entry action panel 726 can display detailed information about group C. Furthermore, area 728 of the group entry action panel 726 can display the joining conditions for group C and whether those conditions have been met. For example, the joining conditions for group C may include conditions 730 and 732. Condition 730 includes following broadcaster A, and condition 732 includes becoming a fan of broadcaster A. Figure 7C As shown, the current user meets condition 732 but not condition 730. Therefore, an interactive component 734 can be displayed in the group joining action panel 726. In response to an operation on the interactive component 734, an interactive operation associated with condition 730 can be performed to satisfy condition 730. Furthermore, a joining component 736 can also be displayed on the group joining action panel 726. The joining component 736 can be bound to an interactive operation, which can be associated with the not-yet-met condition 730. In response to an operation on the joining component 736, the terminal device can perform an interactive operation to make the current user meet all the conditions for joining group C. Then, the current user can be automatically added to group C, and an application message component is displayed on the live streaming interface 702. In this way, the number of operations required for a user to join a group is reduced, improving the user experience.

[0090] In response to the operation on joining component 736, the current user can be added to group C. For example... Figure 7D As shown, an application messaging component 740 can be displayed on the live streaming interface 702. The application messaging component 740 allows users to view messages in group C and send messages in group C via the input component 742 while watching the live stream in the live streaming player 704. Furthermore, a return component 744 can also be displayed on the application messaging component 740. In response to an operation on the return component 744, the application messaging component 740 can display the current user's instant messaging message list. This allows the current user to easily switch to other sessions to view messages in other sessions or send messages in other sessions while watching the live stream.

[0091] Figures 8A to 8C This illustration shows an example 800 where the number of groups for a broadcaster, according to some examples in this article, is equal to one. (Example 800) Figure 8AAs shown, Example 800 includes a live streaming interface 802 associated with broadcaster A. A terminal device can display a live streaming player 804 and a live streaming message component 806 on the live streaming interface 802. The live streaming player 804 can continuously play broadcaster A's live stream. The live streaming message component 806 can display messages sent by users watching the live stream within the live streaming space. Additionally, an input component 808 can be displayed in the live streaming message component 806. Users can send messages for the current live stream through the input component 808. An information component 810 can be displayed on the live streaming interface 802, displaying broadcaster A's profile and a group joining component 812. In response to an operation on the group joining component 812, the terminal device can determine whether the number of groups associated with broadcaster A is equal to one.

[0092] In example 800, the number of groups associated with broadcaster A is equal to one. Therefore, in response to an operation on the group joining component 812, the terminal device can display the group joining action panel 814 for group A on the live streaming interface 802, as shown below. Figure 8B and 8C As shown. Figure 8B An example is shown where group A is not full. For example... Figure 8B As shown, the group joining action panel 814 displays detailed information about group A and the joining component 816. In response to an operation on the joining component 816, the terminal device can add the current user to group A. Furthermore, the terminal device can display an application message component on the live streaming interface 802 and locate the session interface of group A within the application message component. Figure 8C This shows an example where group A is full. Figure 8C As shown, the group joining action panel 814 displays detailed information about group A and a prompt message 818. The prompt message 818 indicates that the number of members in group A has reached the capacity threshold. Therefore, the current user cannot join group A at this time.

[0093] Figures 9A to 9B A schematic diagram of example 900, illustrating the enabling of an application messaging component on a live streaming interface, is shown, based on some examples in this document. (See example 900.) Figure 9AAs shown, Example 900 includes a live streaming interface 902 associated with broadcaster A. A terminal device can display a live streaming player 904 and a live streaming message component 906 on the live streaming interface 902. The live streaming player 904 can continuously play broadcaster A's live stream. The live streaming message component 906 can display messages sent by users watching the live stream within the live streaming space. Furthermore, an input component 908 can be displayed in the live streaming message component 906. Users can send messages related to the current live stream through the input component 908. Additionally, a message notification component 910 can be displayed on the live streaming interface 902. The message notification component 910 can display message notification information, which may include the number of unread messages associated with the current user. These unread messages may include messages sent to the current user by other users within the application, system messages from the application, or messages from groups associated with the current user, etc.

[0094] In response to an operation on message notification component 910, the terminal device can display application message component 912 on the live streaming interface 902, such as... Figure 9B As shown. At this time, the live streaming player 904, the live streaming message component 906, and the application message component 912 can be displayed simultaneously on the live streaming interface 902 in a tiled manner, so that these components do not obstruct each other. In this way, the terminal device can receive operations on the live streaming message component 906 and the application message component 912 while continuously playing the live stream, enabling users to simultaneously watch the live stream, view messages sent by live stream viewers, send messages in the live stream space, view messages from the application's instant messaging function module, and send messages in the instant messaging function module, thereby improving the user's operational efficiency and information reception efficiency.

[0095] Figures 10A to 10C This illustration shows Example 1000 of a group created by a broadcaster, based on some examples from this article. Figure 10AAs shown, Example 1000 includes a live streaming interface 1002 associated with broadcaster A. A terminal device can display a live streaming player 1004 and a live streaming message component 1006 on the live streaming interface 1002. The live streaming player 1004 can continuously play broadcaster A's live stream. The live streaming message component 1006 can display messages sent by users watching the live stream within the live streaming space. Furthermore, an input component 1008 can be displayed in the live streaming message component 1006. Users can send messages for the current live stream through the input component 1008. Additionally, an information component 1010 can be displayed on the live streaming interface 1002, displaying broadcaster A's profile and a group joining component 1012. In response to an operation on the group joining component 1012, the terminal device can determine whether the current user is broadcaster A. In Example 1000, the terminal device can determine that the current user is broadcaster A. Then, the terminal device can display a group list component 1014, as shown... Figure 10B As shown.

[0096] In Example 1000, broadcaster A has not yet created a session group. Therefore, as... Figure 10B As shown, the creation component 1016 can be displayed in the group list component 1014. In response to an operation on the creation component 1016, the terminal device can display the user list component 1018 on the live streaming interface 1002. The user list component 1018 can display multiple users associated with broadcaster A. In response to an operation on the creation component 1020, the terminal device can determine at least one selected user. The server can then create a group including broadcaster A and the selected user, and the group's identifier can be bound to broadcaster A's identifier. The terminal device can then display an application message component on the live streaming interface 1002, and the application message component can locate the session interface of the created group. In this way, broadcaster A can interact with the current live stream audience in the live streaming message component 1006 and with users in the session group in the application message component while broadcasting, thereby improving the broadcaster's interaction efficiency.

[0097] Figure 11 A block diagram of a device 1100 for displaying information, according to some examples herein, is shown. For example... Figure 11As shown, device 1100 includes a first component display module 1102, configured to display a first live stream and a first component on a first interface, the first live stream being associated with a first user. Device 1100 also includes a session group joining module 1104, configured to, in response to at least one operation associated with the first component, allow a second user to join a first session group, the first session group being associated with the first user. Furthermore, device 1100 includes a second component display module 1106, configured to display a second component on the first interface while the first live stream is continuously playing. The second component is configured to display messages in the first session group and also to send messages within the first session group. In this way, the terminal device can display a component for joining a session group without interrupting the first live stream, and after joining the group, display a component for viewing and sending group messages on the same live stream interface, allowing the second user to complete operations such as joining a group, viewing group messages, and sending group messages without leaving the live stream interface. This reduces interruptions in live streaming caused by repeatedly switching between the live streaming interface and the instant messaging interface, thereby improving the continuity of live streaming viewing and the convenience of interaction between users, the streamer, and other group members.

[0098] In some cases, device 1100 further includes a third component display module, configured to display a third component on the first interface while the first live stream is continuously playing. The third component is configured to display and send messages associated with the first live stream. In this way, users can participate in real-time interactions within the live stream while watching it and participating in group chats, thereby improving user interaction efficiency.

[0099] In some cases, the second component display module includes a first live broadcast display module, configured to simultaneously display the first live broadcast, the second component, and the third component on the first interface. This approach improves the user's message viewing efficiency.

[0100] In some cases, the third component is displayed in the first area, and the second component display module includes: a cancellation display module configured to cancel the display of the third component; and a first area usage module configured to display the second component in the first area. In this way, the area used to display the live message component can be reused to display the application message component, thereby saving display space on the live interface so that the first live or application message component can be displayed at a larger size.

[0101] In some cases, device 1100 further includes: a fourth component display module configured to display a fourth component on a first interface; and a fourth component operation module configured to display a second component in response to an operation on the fourth component. This allows users to open application message components as needed while already in a chat group, improving the convenience of displaying chat groups.

[0102] In some cases, device 1100 further includes a first information display module configured to display first information on a first interface, the first information being associated with a fourth component, the first information indicating the existence of unread messages, and the unread messages being associated with a second user. In this way, users can be promptly reminded to check their associated group messages, thereby reducing the likelihood of users missing conversation messages.

[0103] In some cases, the conversation group joining module includes: a group information acquisition module configured to acquire group information associated with at least one conversation group, at least one conversation group associated with a first user, and at least one conversation group including the first conversation group; a fifth component display module configured to display a fifth component based on the group information in response to an operation on the first component, the fifth component being configured to enable a second user to join at least one conversation group; and a fifth component operation module configured to enable a second user to join the first conversation group in response to at least one operation associated with the fifth component. In this way, the fifth component can adapt to the actual conversation group and its status associated with the first user, rather than always displaying a group list component with a fixed format and content. Therefore, the terminal device can provide the second user with a group display method and entry point that matches the current group situation, reducing unnecessary group selection or information viewing operations, lowering the complexity of joining a group, and improving the efficiency of users joining conversation groups.

[0104] In some cases, the group information includes the number of groups associated with the first user, and the fifth component display module includes: a first group number determination module, configured to display second information and a sixth component on the fifth component in response to the group number being equal to one, the second information being associated with the first session group, and the sixth component being configured to join the first session group. In this way, the steps for selecting groups can be reduced, thereby reducing the operations required for the user to join a group.

[0105] In some cases, the fifth component display module further includes a second group number determination module, configured to display multiple session groups and multiple components on the fifth component in response to a group number greater than one. The multiple session groups are associated with the first user, include the first session group, and the multiple components are configured to allow the second user to join the corresponding session group among the multiple session groups. This allows users to view and select the session groups they wish to join, improving the flexibility and convenience of joining groups in multi-group scenarios.

[0106] In some cases, at least one of the conversation groups further includes a second conversation group. The group information includes the number of members in the second conversation group, and the fifth component display module includes: a second conversation group display module configured to display the second conversation group on the fifth component; and a member number determination module configured to display third information in response to the member number meeting a first threshold, indicating that joining the second conversation group is not possible. In this way, the group capacity status can be accurately presented to the user, reducing the likelihood of users performing invalid join operations on full groups.

[0107] In some cases, at least one of the conversation groups also includes a second conversation group. The group information includes application information for the second conversation group, indicating whether an application is required to join the second conversation group. The fifth component display module includes: a third conversation group display module configured to display the second conversation group on the fifth component; and a seventh component display module configured to display the seventh component on the fifth component in response to the application information indicating that an application is required to join the second conversation group. The seventh component is configured to submit an application. In this way, the group joining operation is aligned with the group's approval process, reducing the number of steps required for users to submit a group joining application.

[0108] In some cases, at least one of the conversation groups also includes a second conversation group. The group information includes the joining conditions for the second conversation group, and the fifth component display module includes a joining condition display module configured to display the second conversation group and the joining conditions on the fifth component. This allows users to understand the relevant conditions before performing a group joining operation, thereby reducing invalid operations caused by unmet conditions.

[0109] In some cases, device 1100 further includes: an eighth component display module configured to display an eighth component on the fifth component, the eighth component corresponding to the second session group; and a first status display module configured to display joining conditions and a first status in response to an operation on the eighth component, the first status indicating whether the second user meets the joining conditions. In this way, users can intuitively understand their matching status with the joining conditions, facilitating subsequent operations.

[0110] In some cases, device 1100 further includes a ninth component display module, configured to display a ninth component in response to a second user not meeting the joining conditions. The ninth component is configured to perform an interactive operation associated with the first user, which enables the second user to meet the joining conditions. In this way, the second user can be guided to complete the interactive operation associated with the joining conditions, thereby providing the user with a clear path to achieve the conditions and increasing the likelihood of the user joining the session group.
