[0085] The technical solutions of the embodiments of this application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of this application, and not all of them. All other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of this application without creative effort are within the protection scope of this application.

[0086] This application proposes a vibration damper. Figures 1 to 10 These are some embodiments of this application.

[0087] Please see Figures 1 to 2 In some embodiments of this application, the shock absorber includes a working cylinder 1 and a rod assembly 3. The working cylinder 1 has a first cavity 21 for containing a medium. The rod assembly 3 is disposed in the working cylinder 1 and is movable relative to the working cylinder 1. The pressure in the first cavity 21 can be changed to limit the movement of the rod assembly 3. That is, when the rod assembly 3 moves, the pressure in the first cavity 21 can change, thereby providing damping force for the movement of the rod assembly 3 to accelerate the attenuation of vehicle vibration.

[0088] Specifically, during vehicle operation, the lever assembly 3 will move due to vehicle bumps and other reasons, thus having a compression stroke. After completing the compression stroke, the lever assembly 3 will reset, thus having a reset stroke. When the lever assembly 3 resets, the pressure in the first cavity 21 will increase or decrease, thereby generating a force that restricts the movement of the lever assembly 3 in the reset direction, so as to limit the reset stroke of the lever assembly 3 and cause the kinetic energy of the lever assembly 3 to decay when it resets.

[0089] In some embodiments of this application, a portion of the rod assembly 3 is located within the first cavity 21. The damper further includes a partition 4, which is disposed in the first cavity 21 and is movable relative to the working cylinder 1 to divide the first cavity 21 into a first sub-cavity 211 and a second sub-cavity 212. A gap 5 is formed between the partition 4 and at least one of the working cylinder 1 and the rod assembly 3. The gap 5 connects the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212, and the medium flows between the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212 through the gap 5. It is understood that when the partition 4 is movable, the medium can flow from the first sub-cavity 211 to the second sub-cavity 212, or from the second sub-cavity 212 to the first sub-cavity 211, thereby limiting the movement of the rod assembly 3.

[0090] It is understandable that when the partition 4 moves relative to the working cylinder 1, the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212 will be different, and the flow of the medium between the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212 will cause the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212 to gradually converge.

[0091] In the technical solution of this application, when the rod assembly 3 is reset, the pressure through the first cavity 21 increases or decreases, thereby providing damping force for the reset of the rod assembly 3, thus causing the kinetic energy of the rod assembly 3 to decrease during reset.

[0092] When the damper is under extreme operating conditions, the partition 4 moves. When the rod assembly 3 resets, the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases or decreases, thereby providing damping force for the reset of the rod assembly 3. At the same time, the movement of the partition 4 causes the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 to flow from the gap 5 to the second sub-cavity 212 or the medium in the second sub-cavity 212 to flow from the gap 5 to the first sub-cavity 211, which can also provide damping force for the reset of the rod assembly 3. The movement of the partition 4 and the pressure change in the first sub-cavity 211 can provide greater damping force for the reset of the rod assembly 3, thereby achieving rapid attenuation of kinetic energy when the rod assembly 3 resets under extreme operating conditions of the suspension system.

[0093] In summary, the shock absorber in this embodiment can meet the riding comfort of the occupants under normal operating conditions, and can achieve rapid attenuation of kinetic energy when the rod assembly 3 is reset under extreme operating conditions, so as to meet the extreme damping performance of the suspension system.

[0094] When a shock absorber is in normal operating condition, it means that the shock absorber can withstand the typical vibrations and impacts experienced by the user during daily driving, such as providing damping when bumping on a flat road, during normal braking, or when turning.

[0095] The term "shock absorber under extreme conditions" refers to the state in which the shock absorber operates briefly under extreme conditions and approaches or reaches the boundary of its design capacity; such as providing vibration reduction under conditions of aggressive driving, severe bumps, and emergency braking.

[0096] In some embodiments of this application, the medium located in the working cylinder 1 is hydraulic oil.

[0097] It should be noted that both increasing and decreasing the pressure in the first cavity 21 can provide damping force for the reset of the rod assembly 3.

[0098] The description is based on the fact that the rod assembly 3 is positioned vertically relative to the working cylinder 1, and that the rod assembly 3 moves upwards during reset.

[0099] If the first cavity 21 is located above the rod assembly 3, the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases when the rod assembly 3 is reset, in order to provide damping force for the rod assembly 3.

[0100] If the first cavity 21 is located below the rod assembly 3, the pressure in the first cavity 21 decreases when the rod assembly 3 is reset, thus providing damping force to the rod assembly 3.

[0101] Furthermore, the pressure change in the first cavity 21 can be caused by the movement of the rod assembly 3, or it can be caused by other components within the shock absorber; no limitation is made here.

[0102] The movement of the partition 4 can also be driven by the rod assembly 3 or other components within the shock absorber; no restrictions are placed here.

[0103] In some embodiments of this application, the lever assembly 3 has a first position and a second position during its active stroke. When the lever assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position, the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases, and the partition 4 moves relative to the working cylinder 1, so that the medium can flow from one of the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212 to the other. In this embodiment, the stroke of the lever assembly 3 from the first position to the second position is the reset stroke of the lever assembly 3 under extreme operating conditions. At this time, the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases to provide damping force for the lever assembly 3. The partition 4 moves relative to the working cylinder 1, and the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 flows from the gap 5 to the second sub-cavity 212 or the medium in the second sub-cavity 212 flows from the gap 5 to the first sub-cavity 211, which can also provide damping force for the reset of the lever assembly 3. The movement of the partition 4 and the pressure change in the first sub-cavity 211 can provide greater damping force for the reset of the lever assembly 3, thereby achieving rapid attenuation of kinetic energy when the lever assembly 3 resets under extreme operating conditions of the suspension system.

[0104] It should be noted that the first position and the second position are the two extreme positions of the rod assembly's range of motion under extreme working conditions; the movement of the rod assembly 3 from the first position to the second position is the reset stroke of the rod assembly 3 under extreme working conditions.

[0105] Please see Figure 3 , Figure 3 The diagram shown is a cross-sectional view of the damper when the rod assembly 3 is in the first position.

[0106] In some embodiments of this application, the working cylinder 1 has a cavity 2, and the rod assembly 3 divides the cavity 2 into a first cavity 21 and a second cavity 22; that is, the movement of the rod assembly 3 relative to the working cylinder 1 can cause the volume of the first cavity 21 and the second cavity 22 to change, thereby causing the pressure of the first cavity 21 and the second cavity 22 to change, thereby providing damping force for the reset movement of the rod assembly 3.

[0107] When the rod assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position, the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases. In this embodiment, the rod assembly 3 compresses the first cavity 21 as it moves from the first position to the second position, thereby reducing the volume of the first cavity 21 and increasing the pressure in the first cavity 21.

[0108] In some embodiments of this application, the rod assembly 3 has a channel 6, which is used to depressurize the first sub-cavity 211 when the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 exceeds a threshold. In this embodiment, when the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases, the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 also increases accordingly. By providing the channel 6 to depressurize the first sub-cavity 211 when the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 exceeds the threshold, the situation of the shock absorber failing to seal due to excessive pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 can be avoided.

[0109] It is understandable that if the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is too high, the pressure in the second sub-cavity 212, which is connected to the first sub-cavity 211 through the gap 5, will also be too high. Since the medium can flow between the first sub-cavity 211 and the second sub-cavity 212, the channel 6 can also relieve the pressure in the second sub-cavity 212.

[0110] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position, the partition 4 moves relative to the working cylinder 1, so that the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 flows to the second sub-cavity 212 through the gap 5. Since the flow area of the gap 5 is small, the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 will not flow out of the first sub-cavity 211 quickly. Therefore, when the partition 4 moves relative to the working cylinder 1, the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 will rise rapidly. The channel 6 is provided so that when the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 exceeds the threshold, the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is released to avoid the damper from failing to seal due to excessive pressure.

[0111] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 is in the second position, the channel 6 can connect the first sub-cavity 211 and the second cavity 22 to discharge the medium of the first sub-cavity 211 into the second cavity 22, so as to avoid the first sub-cavity 211 from failing to seal due to excessive pressure.

[0112] It is understandable that if the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 does not exceed the threshold when the rod assembly 3 is in the second position, the channel 6 can also be disconnected from the first sub-cavity 211.

[0113] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 is in the second position and the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 exceeds a threshold, one end of the channel 6 can be directly connected to the first sub-cavity 211 to discharge the medium of the first sub-cavity 211 into the second cavity 22, thereby preventing the damper from failing to seal due to excessive pressure in the first sub-cavity 211.

[0114] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, the channel 6 is not connected to the first sub-cavity 211 or is not directly connected to the first channel 6, so as to ensure that the movement of the partition 4 in the first cavity 21 can provide damping for the reset of the rod assembly 3 when the damper is under extreme conditions.

[0115] In some embodiments, the damper is provided with a component that can switch the channel 6. When the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, the channel 6 is closed to prevent the medium from flowing through the channel 6, thereby preventing the medium from flowing from the first sub-cavity 211 through the gap 5 and the second sub-cavity 212 in sequence, and from the channel 6 to the second cavity 22.

[0116] In some other embodiments, when the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, the channel 6 connects the second sub-cavity 212 and the second cavity 22. However, since the first sub-cavity 211 is connected to the second sub-cavity 212 through the gap 5, the channel 6 is actually indirectly connected to the first sub-cavity 211. However, since the flow area of the gap 5 is small, the flow rate of the medium passing through the gap 5 per unit time is limited. Therefore, the connection between the channel 6 and the second sub-cavity 212 will not have a significant impact on the magnitude of the damping force that the first sub-cavity 211 can generate, so as to ensure that the movement of the partition 4 in the first cavity 21 can provide damping for the reset of the rod assembly 3 when the damper is in the extreme working condition.

[0117] There are no restrictions on how channel 6 connects to the first sub-cavity 211 and the second cavity 22.

[0118] In some embodiments of this application, one end of the channel 6 may always be in communication with the second cavity 22, and when the rod assembly 3 moves to the second position, the other end of the channel 6 moves into the first sub-cavity 211, so that the first sub-cavity 211 is in communication with the second cavity 22.

[0119] In some other embodiments of this application, components may be set to actively open or close the channel 6, thereby determining whether the channel 6 needs to be opened under different working conditions; for example, when the rod assembly 3 is in the first position and the second position, both ends of the channel 6 are connected to the first sub-cavity 211 and the second cavity 22, but the inside of the channel 6 is separated by the driving structure. When the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 reaches the threshold, the driving structure opens the channel 6, so that the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 can flow from the channel 6 to the second cavity 22.

[0120] In some embodiments of this application, the channel 6 has a plurality of interconnected openings 61; when the rod assembly 3 is in the second position, a portion of the plurality of openings 61 communicates with the first sub-cavity 211 and another portion communicates with the second cavity 22; this arrangement can accelerate the flow of the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 to the second cavity 22, thereby achieving rapid depressurization of the first sub-cavity 211, so as to avoid the first sub-cavity 211 from experiencing sealing failure due to prolonged high pressure.

[0121] Please see Figures 3 to 4 In some embodiments of this application, the vibration damper further includes at least one switch structure 7, which is used to open or close the channel 6. By providing the switch structure 7, it is possible to avoid the channel 6 being in a normally open state, which would cause the internal space of the vibration damper to be constantly connected and thus affect the vibration damping performance of the vibration damper.

[0122] In some embodiments of this application, the switch structure 7 is disposed on the rod assembly 3 and has a first state and a second state. When the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, the switch structure 7 is in the first state and the channel 6 is closed; when the rod assembly 3 is in the second position, the switch structure 7 is in the second state and the channel 6 is open. In this embodiment, the opening or closing of the channel 6 is achieved by controlling the switch structure 7, thereby avoiding the channel 6 being in the normally open state, which would cause the internal space of the shock absorber to be constantly connected and affect the vibration damping performance of the shock absorber.

[0123] Meanwhile, the switch structure 7 can open the first channel 6 when the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 reaches the threshold, so as to avoid the first sub-cavity 211 from losing its buffering effect on the rod assembly 3 due to the pressure being too low, and also to avoid the first sub-cavity 211 from experiencing sealing failure due to excessively high pressure over a long period of time.

[0124] It is understandable that multiple switch structures 7 can be provided, each corresponding to a different opening 61 position in the channel 6.

[0125] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, one of the openings 61 of the channel 6 is located in the first sub-cavity 211, but the switch structure 7 is in the first state and closes the channel 6 to restrict the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 from flowing out of the channel 6, thereby avoiding the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 being too low and losing the buffering effect on the rod assembly 3.

[0126] In some embodiments of this application, the type of switch structure 7 is not limited; it can be a valve structure or a pump structure.

[0127] In some embodiments of this application, the opening degree of the switch structure 7 can be adjusted to control the flow rate of the medium flowing to the switch structure 7; this setting enables the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 to be controlled when the damper is under extreme operating conditions and the rod assembly 3 is reset, so that the first sub-cavity 211 can always provide damping force for the reset of the rod assembly 3, so that the kinetic energy of the rod assembly 3 decays rapidly, while ensuring that the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is not too high.

[0128] In summary, the switch structure 7 can ensure that the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is not too high or too low, thereby playing a role in regulating the damping force.

[0129] In some embodiments of this application, the switch structure 7 can be disposed inside or outside the channel 6, and there is no limitation, as long as the switch structure 7 can open or close the channel 6.

[0130] Please see Figures 3 to 6 In some embodiments of this application, the switch structure 7 includes a first main body 71 and a movable part 72. The first main body 71 is disposed on the rod assembly 3 and has a third cavity 8, which communicates with the channel 6. The movable part 72 is movably disposed in the third cavity 8 to open or close the third cavity 8. In this embodiment, the movement of the movable part 72 causes the third cavity 8 to open or close, thereby allowing the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 to flow from the channel 6 to the second cavity 22 or restricting the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 from flowing from the channel 6 to the second cavity 22, thereby realizing the opening or closing of the channel 6.

[0131] When the movable part 72 closes the third cavity 8, the movable part 72 can seal the third cavity 8 inside the third cavity 8, or it can seal the connection between the third space and the channel 6 to seal the third cavity 8, and there is no limitation here.

[0132] In some embodiments of this application, the third cavity 8 includes a third sub-cavity 81 and a fourth sub-cavity 82 that are interconnected. The third sub-cavity 81 is connected to the channel 6. When the rod assembly 3 is in the second position, the fourth sub-cavity 82 is connected to the first sub-cavity 211. The movable part 72 is movably disposed in the third sub-cavity 81 or the fourth sub-cavity 82 to seal the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 or to make the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 connected. In this embodiment, the movable part 72 opens or closes the third cavity 8 by sealing the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 or to make the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 connected, thereby realizing the opening or closing of the channel 6.

[0133] In some embodiments of this application, the size of the third sub-cavity 81 is larger than the size of the fourth sub-cavity 82; the movable part 72 is movably disposed within the third sub-cavity 81, and the size of the movable part 72 is larger than the size of the fourth sub-cavity 82, and the movable part 72 can abut against and seal the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82; wherein, since the size of the movable part 72 is larger than the fourth sub-cavity 82, the movable part 72 will not come out of the fourth sub-cavity 82 when it abuts against the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82; by setting the size design of the third sub-cavity 81, the fourth sub-cavity 82 and the movable part 72, the movable part 72 can seal the third cavity 8 or unseal the third cavity 8 when it is moving, thereby realizing the opening or closing of the channel 6.

[0134] It should be noted that the dimensions of the third sub-cavity 81, the fourth sub-cavity 82, and the movable part 72 are the cross-sectional dimensions of the third sub-cavity 81, the fourth sub-cavity 82, and the movable part 72 perpendicular to the axial direction of the damper.

[0135] In some embodiments of this application, the switch structure 7 further includes a first elastic member 73, at least a portion of which is located within the third sub-cavity 81 and connected to the movable part 72. The first elastic member 73 can drive the movable part 72 to abut against the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82, thereby closing the switch structure 7. When the lever assembly 3 is in the second position and the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 is greater than the elastic force of the first elastic member 73, there is a gap between the movable part 72 and the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82. In this embodiment, by driving the movable part 72 to abut against the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 through the first elastic member 73, the third cavity 8 remains sealed when the pressure of the fourth sub-cavity 82 is less than the elastic force of the first elastic member 73.

[0136] When the rod assembly 3 is in the second position and the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is greater than the elastic force of the first elastic member 73, since the fourth sub-cavity 82 is connected, the pressure in the fourth sub-cavity 82 will also be greater than the elastic force of the first elastic member 73. This will cause the connection between the movable part 72 and the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 to be separated, so that the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 can flow from the fourth sub-cavity 82 and the third sub-cavity 81 into the channel 6, and from the channel 6 into the second cavity 22, thereby reducing the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211.

[0137] Meanwhile, as the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 gradually decreases, the difference between the pressure in the fourth sub-cavity 82 and the elastic force of the first elastic element 73 also gradually decreases. Therefore, the distance between the movable part 72 and the connection points of the third and fourth sub-cavities 81 and 82 also gradually decreases, thereby achieving the effect of adjusting the damping force of the first sub-cavity 211 on the reset movement of the rod assembly 3.

[0138] The above embodiments will be further explained below. When the rod assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position, the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 increases rapidly. At this time, the switch structure 7 is also located in the first sub-cavity 211. The pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 overcomes the elastic force of the first elastic member 73 and pushes the movable part 72 to move, so that the switch structure 7 is in the second state. The medium in the first sub-cavity 211 can flow out from the third cavity 8 and the gap 5 at the same time, thereby buffering the movement of the rod assembly 3. As the moving speed of the rod assembly 3 gradually decreases, the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 gradually decreases, and the difference between the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 and the elastic force of the first elastic element 73 also gradually decreases. As a result, the distance between the connecting parts of the moving part 72 and the third and fourth sub-cavities 81 and 82 also gradually decreases, thereby maintaining the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 and maintaining the damping force on the movement of the rod assembly 3. This allows the kinetic energy of the rod assembly 3 to decay rapidly, ensuring that the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is not too high and protecting the oil seal, while also ensuring that the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is not too low and loses its buffering effect. In other words, the structural design of the switch structure 7 can achieve the function of adjusting the damping force.

[0139] In some embodiments of this application, in the elastic extension and contraction direction of the first elastic member 73, one end of the first elastic member 73 is connected to the movable part 72, and the other end is connected to the first main body part 71 or the rod assembly 3; wherein, the connection form between the first elastic member 73 and the movable part 72, the first main body part 71 or the rod assembly 3 is not limited; it can be abutment, snap-fit, etc.

[0140] In some embodiments of this application, one end of the first elastic member 73 is connected to the movable part 72, and the other end is connected to the rod assembly 3.

[0141] In some embodiments of this application, the first elastic element 73 is a spring.

[0142] In some embodiments of this application, the movable part 72 is plate-shaped; this ensures that the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 can be sealed securely to prevent leakage.

[0143] In some embodiments of this application, the surface of the movable part 72 facing the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 is an inclined surface or a curved surface. This ensures that the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 can be sealed securely to prevent leakage.

[0144] Furthermore, the movable part 72 can be semi-circular or conical.

[0145] It should be noted that this application does not limit the shape of the movable part 72, as long as the movable part 72 can reliably seal the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82 when it abuts against the connection between the third sub-cavity 81 and the fourth sub-cavity 82.

[0146] Please see Figures 7 to 8 In some embodiments of this application, the switch structure 7 includes a second main body 74 and a second elastic member 75. The second main body 74 is disposed on the rod assembly 3 and has a fourth cavity 9, which communicates with the channel 6. The second elastic member 75 is disposed on the second main body 74. The second elastic member 75 can deform to seal the fourth cavity 9 or release the seal on the fourth cavity 9. In this embodiment, the deformation of the second elastic member 75 allows the fourth cavity 9 to open or close, thereby allowing the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 to flow from the channel 6 to the second cavity 22 or restricting the flow of the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 to the second cavity 22, thereby realizing the opening or closing of the channel 6.

[0147] When the second elastic member 75 closes the fourth cavity 9, the second elastic member 75 can seal the fourth cavity 9 inside the fourth cavity 9 or seal the fourth cavity 9 at one end of the fourth cavity 9, and there is no limitation on this.

[0148] In some embodiments of this application, the second main body 74 also has a through hole 10 communicating with the fourth cavity 9. When the rod assembly 3 is in the second position, the through hole 10 communicates with the first sub-cavity 211. The second elastic member 75 is located at the connection between the fourth cavity 9 and the through hole 10, so as to be able to separate the fourth cavity 9 and the through hole 10 or to make the fourth cavity 9 and the through hole 10 communicate. In this embodiment, the second elastic member 75 opens or closes the fourth cavity 9 by sealing the connection between the through hole 10 and the fourth cavity 9 or by making the through hole 10 communicate with the fourth cavity 9, thereby realizing the opening or closing of the channel 6.

[0149] In some embodiments of this application, when the second elastic member 75 does not deform, the second elastic member 75 seals the connection between the through hole 10 and the fourth cavity 9; at this time, the pressure of the first sub-cavity 211 is less than the elastic force of the second elastic member 75.

[0150] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 is in the second position and the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 is greater than the elastic force of the second elastic member 75, the second elastic member 75 deforms and a portion of the second elastic member 75 separates from the connection between the fourth cavity 9 and the through hole 10; that is, in this embodiment, when the second elastic member 75 deforms, the medium in the first sub-cavity 211 can flow from the through hole 10 and the fourth cavity 9 into the channel 6, and from the channel 6 into the second cavity 22, so as to reduce the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211.

[0151] It is understandable that when the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 changes, the difference between the pressure value of the first sub-cavity 211 and the elastic force value of the second elastic element 75 will also change, thereby changing the degree of deformation of the second elastic element 75 to maintain the pressure in the first sub-cavity 211 and maintain the damping force on the movement of the rod assembly 3.

[0152] In some embodiments of this application, the rod assembly 3 also has a third position during its active stroke, with the first position located between the second and third positions; when the rod assembly 3 moves from the third position to the first position, the pressure in the first cavity 21 increases, and the partition 4 is fixed relative to the working cylinder 1; in this embodiment, the movement of the rod assembly 3 from the third position to the first position is the reset stroke of the rod assembly 3 under normal operating conditions. At this time, the partition 4 does not move, and only the increase in pressure in the first cavity 21 provides damping force to the rod assembly 3 to meet the riding comfort of the occupants.

[0153] Please see Figure 1 , Figure 1 The diagram shown is a cross-sectional view of the damper when the rod assembly 3 is in the third position.

[0154] Please see Figure 9 and Figure 10 In some embodiments of this application, the vibration damper further includes a limiting seat 11, which is disposed on the rod assembly 3. When the rod assembly 3 is in the third position, the limiting seat 11 is separated from the partition 4. When the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, the limiting seat 11 is in contact with the partition 4. When the rod assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position, the limiting seat 11 abuts against the partition 4 to drive the partition 4 to move. That is, in this embodiment, the limiting seat 11 can play the role of driving the partition 4 to move. At the same time, since the limiting seat 11 is separated from the partition 4 when the rod assembly 3 is in the third position and the limiting seat 11 is in contact with the partition 4 when the rod assembly 3 is in the first position, the first sub-cavity 211 will not provide damping force to the rod assembly 3 under normal operating conditions. It will only provide damping force to the rod assembly 3 under extreme operating conditions to achieve rapid attenuation of the kinetic energy of the rod assembly 3.

[0155] Furthermore, since the limiting seat 11 only cooperates with the partition 4 and does not need to cooperate with the working cylinder 1, the structural design of the limiting seat 11 is simple and the diameter is small. The distance between the periphery of the limiting seat 11 and the working cylinder 1 is large, so it will not affect the flow of the medium between the limiting seat 11 and the working cylinder 1, and thus will not affect the movement of the rod assembly 3 in the working cylinder 1.

[0156] In some embodiments of this application, the limiting seat 11 includes a first surface 111 facing the partition 4; wherein, when the limiting seat 11 abuts against the partition 4, the entire first surface 111 is in contact with the partition 4; in this embodiment, by setting the first surface 111 to be in contact with the partition 4 when the limiting seat 11 abuts against the partition 4, the contact area between the limiting seat 11 and the partition 4 is increased, so as to avoid the impact force between the limiting seat 11 and the partition 4 being too large when they are in contact, which would cause the limiting seat 11 or the partition 4 to be easily damaged.

[0157] In some embodiments of this application, the portion of the outer surface of the partition 4 that contacts the first surface 111 is parallel to the first surface 111.

[0158] In some embodiments of this application, a slot 12 is provided on the side of the partition 4 facing the limiting seat 11; in the direction from the limiting seat 11 to the partition 4, the orthographic projection of the limiting seat 11 falls in the slot 12; in this embodiment, since the limiting seat 11 is fixedly mounted on the rod assembly 3, the travel of the limiting seat 11 is fixed. By designing the limiting seat 11 to be able to be embedded in the slot 12 during movement, it is ensured that the partition 4 can move with the limiting seat 11, and the partition 4 will not move relative to the limiting seat 11, so as to avoid the partition 4 from shifting during movement.

[0159] In some embodiments of this application, the limiting seat 11 includes a first surface 111 and a second surface 112. The first surface 111 faces the partition 4, and the second surface 112 is located on the periphery of the first surface 111 and is inclined to guide the limiting seat 11 into the slot 12. In this embodiment, by providing the second surface 112, the limiting seat 11 is guided into the slot 12 when it contacts the partition 4, so as to avoid interference when the limiting seat 11 contacts the partition 4.

[0160] In some embodiments of this application, the damper further includes a guide portion 13, which is disposed in the working cylinder 1. The guide portion 13, the partition portion 4, and the working cylinder 1 enclose a first sub-cavity 211. The rod assembly 3 passes through the guide portion 13 to extend into the first cavity 21. In this embodiment, the guide portion 13 can play a guiding function, thereby limiting the interaction direction of the rod assembly 3.

[0161] In some embodiments of this application, the damper further includes a third elastic element 14, which is disposed between the guide portion 13 and the partition portion 4. The third elastic element 14 is used to drive the partition portion 4 to reset after the partition portion 4 is activated, so as to move during the next reset stroke of the rod assembly 3 and make the first sub-cavity 211 have a buffering effect.

[0162] In some embodiments of this application, when the rod assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position, the partition 4 starts to move from the initial position; when the rod assembly 3 moves from the second position to the first position, the partition 4 can be reset to the initial position under the action of the third elastic member 14.

[0163] In some embodiments of this application, the third elastic element 14 is a spring.

[0164] In some embodiments of this application, the partition 4 includes a connecting part 41 and a buffer part 42. The connecting part 41 divides the first cavity 21 into a first sub-cavity 211 and a second sub-cavity 212. The third elastic member 14 connects the connecting part 41 and the guide part 13. The buffer part 42 is connected to the connecting part 41 and is located between the connecting part 41 and the guide part 13. By providing the buffer part 42, the third elastic member 14 is prevented from being compressed to the limit and damaged when the rod assembly 3 moves from the first position to the second position. At the same time, the movement stroke of the rod assembly 3 is also limited.

[0165] In some embodiments of this application, the connecting part 41 serves to limit the flow, allowing the medium to flow only from the gap between the connecting part 41 and the working cylinder 1 or the rod assembly 3. Therefore, the connecting part 41 is made of a composite material with high wear resistance, high toughness and high mechanical strength.

[0166] In some embodiments of this application, the rod assembly 3 includes a rod body 31 and a valve body 32, which at least partially extends into the working cylinder 1 and is movable relative to the working cylinder 1; the valve body 32 is connected to the rod body 31 and disposed in the working cylinder 1 to limit the movement of the rod body 31; wherein the rod body 31 and the cylinder assembly are respectively connected to different structures on the vehicle body so that the shock absorber plays a role in damping when the vehicle is bumpy; the valve body 32 can realize the damping characteristics of the shock absorber by controlling the flow of the medium.

[0167] The description is based on the axial direction of the damping valve, with the first cavity 21 located above the valve body 32.

[0168] During the shock absorber's reset stroke, the rod 31 moves upward, causing the limit seat 11 to move upward. When the limit seat 11 contacts the partition 4 connected and fixed below the guide part 13 by the third elastic element 14, the second surface on the limit seat 11 generates a guiding effect and fits against the groove wall of the slot 12 of the partition part 4. At this time, the partition part 4 blocks the gap between the limit seat 11 and the working cylinder 1, reducing the gap to the gap 5 between the partition part 4 and the cylinder wall of the working cylinder 1. At the same time, the switch structure 7 opens, and the medium flows from the channel 6 and the gap 5 between the partition part 4 and the working cylinder 1 to the second cavity 22.

[0169] During the compression stroke of the damper, when the limiting seat 11 moves downward away from the partition 4, the medium can return to the top of the limiting seat 11 through the space between the limiting seat 11 and the working cylinder 1. The medium in the second sub-cavity 212 returns to the first sub-cavity 211 through the gap 5 between the partition 4 and the rod 31. This reduces the damping force of the partition 4 and the limiting seat 11 moving downward, thus reducing the impact on the normal movement of the rod 31.

[0170] In summary, the shock absorber kinetic energy in this embodiment can rapidly attenuate the kinetic energy of the rod 31 under rapid recovery conditions, and convert the kinetic energy of the rod 31 into heat energy dissipated into the atmosphere, thereby attenuating more system vibration energy and improving the comfort and handling stability of the whole vehicle.
