A heating plate for an electric hair iron and a method of manufacturing the same

Abstract

This invention discloses a heating plate for a hair curler and its manufacturing method. The heating plate includes a thermally conductive substrate, an insulating layer, and a conductive heating layer, which are sequentially stacked and fixed together. The conductive heating layer has heating circuits formed by etching a metal cladding plate. The heat generated by the heating circuits after being connected to a power source is conducted to the thermally conductive substrate, serving as the heating area of ​​the hair curler to heat and style the hair. The conductive heating layer may retain thermally conductive reinforcement portions electrically isolated from the heating circuits to improve heat conduction uniformity and circuit adhesion. Temperature protection elements may be installed on the conductive heating layer. The heating circuits may adopt a serial structure composed of alternating protruding units and connecting units. This invention utilizes PCB manufacturing processes for mass production and has the advantages of uniform heating, safety and reliability, and ease of integration.
