Abstract

An apparatus includes at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to at least: send a first message of a random access procedure to a network entity; and, in response to an event that a compatible second message of the random access procedure has not been received from the network entity, send an enhanced first message of the random access procedure to the network entity, the enhanced first message informing the network entity that at least one compatible second message of the random access procedure has not been received using the apparatus.
