High performance fiber papermaking felt and method of making same

Abstract

The application relates to the technical field of papermaking industrial fabric, and particularly discloses a high-performance fiber papermaking blanket and a preparation method thereof. The high-performance fiber papermaking blanket comprises a base cloth and a fiber batt combined on the base cloth by needling, and the fiber batt comprises high-performance composite short fibers; the high-performance composite short fibers are prepared from fiber-forming raw materials comprising the following components in parts by weight: 67-74 parts of polyamide 66, 18-23 parts of polyphenylene sulfide, 1.5-3.5 parts of a first sulfonated copolyamide, 3-5 parts of a second sulfonated copolyamide and 0.2-0.8 parts of a processing stabilizer. In the application, polyamide 66 is used as the main fiber-forming material, and polyphenylene sulfide is used to improve the pressure stability of the composite short fibers; and the sodium salt type and magnesium salt type sulfonate groups in the second sulfonated copolyamide jointly form an ionic action system, which can slow down the irreversible compaction of the batt and improve the water permeability after cyclic compression.
