Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a lock cylinder, specifically according to DIN 18252, which extends along a longitudinal axis and includes one or more pins, each pin comprising a core pin, a housing pin, and a bolt spring. Such a lock cylinder has a housing comprising a substantially hollow cylindrical core receiving portion and a flange portion projecting radially from the core receiving portion relative to the longitudinal axis. In this case, the lock cylinder portion is rotatably mounted within the core receiving portion of the housing, the lock cylinder portion having one or more bolt channels for receiving one or more core pins. The cross-section of such a lock cylinder is asymmetrical, wherein the housing begins at the circular cross-section of the core receiving portion and merges into the elongated flange portion.
[0002] The present invention also relates to a double lock cylinder having two such lock cylinders, and a corresponding method for installing the lock cylinder and the double lock cylinder. Background Technology
[0003] Such a lock cylinder can be specifically configured to insert into a door bolt, allowing the door to be locked or unlocked as needed. In the locked state, the housing pin engages with the bolt channel of the lock cylinder, preventing rotation of the lock cylinder. For example, by inserting a suitable key, the core pin can be arranged such that the housing pin resists the preload applied by the bolt spring and displaces from the bolt channel of the lock cylinder, releasing the lock cylinder for rotational movement. Thus, rotation of the key can be transmitted to the lock cylinder, thereby, for example, moving the locking drill bit coupled to the lock cylinder, and optionally moving the bolt from the locked position to the released position, allowing the door to be opened.
[0004] Alternatively, it can be configured to form a double lock cylinder by means of two such lock cylinders, so that, for example, the doors of the building can be locked or unlocked from the outside or inside of the building using a key. It can also be configured to arrange other elements between the lock cylinders, so that, for example, the distance between the lock cylinders and the extension of the double lock cylinders along the longitudinal axis can be adjusted to suit the corresponding door, particularly the thickness of its door leaf and fittings. Even if only a single lock cylinder is provided (e.g., a ball-handle lock cylinder), it may be necessary to connect the lock cylinder to other elements and thus lengthen it to allow for precise insertion of the lock cylinder into the corresponding mortise lock.
[0005] Due to the construction of the lock cylinder or double lock cylinder, installation takes time. Summary of the Invention
[0006] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to create a lock cylinder having one or more pins, which enables simple, quick and flexible installation and achieves a high security standard. In particular, its design also allows two such lock cylinders to be easily connected to form a double lock cylinder.
[0007] This objective is achieved by a lock cylinder having the features of claim 1, specifically comprising an inner shell having at least one bolt channel in which a corresponding bolt spring and a corresponding housing pin are accommodated, wherein the flange of the outer shell is closed on the front side of the outer shell, and wherein, according to the first embodiment, the flange is open on the rear side of the outer shell, the inner shell passes through the rear side of the outer shell and is inserted into the flange in a direction particularly along the longitudinal axis or in a direction inclined relative to the longitudinal axis, or wherein, according to the second embodiment, the flange of the outer shell is open on the lower side of the outer shell, the inner shell passes through the lower side of the outer shell and is inserted into the flange in a direction particularly along a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis or in a direction inclined relative to the transverse axis.
[0008] Therefore, the inner and outer shells are designed to be separate yet mating, allowing the inner shell to be inserted into the flange of the outer shell. Thus, the small bolt spring and housing pin can first be inserted into the bolt channel of the inner shell, with no space constraints outside the outer shell of the lock cylinder. Then, with a simple linear movement, the fully installed inner shell, along with the bolt spring and housing pin, can be inserted into the flange in a single installation step.
[0009] Specifically, according to the first embodiment, the inner shell can be inserted into the flange portion through the open rear side of the flange portion along the longitudinal axis. The outer shell can also be designed such that the inner shell can be inserted into the flange portion through the open rear side in a direction inclined or at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis. Alternatively, according to the second embodiment, the flange portion can be configured to have an open lower side, and the inner shell with a receiving bolt spring and a housing pin can be inserted into the flange portion of the outer shell through the open lower side of the flange portion. In particular, such insertion can be performed by linear movement along a transverse axis oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, or insertion can be provided from a direction inclined relative to the transverse axis or at an acute angle to the transverse axis.
[0010] Each of these different insertion possibilities requires only linear movement, thus allowing for a simple, quick, and therefore easy-to-install connection between the inner and outer shells. To further simplify or support the insertion of the inner shell into the outer shell, guiding devices may be provided. For example, a straight groove may be formed on at least one inner side of the outer shell, to which a slat formed on the outer side of the inner shell engages during insertion into the flange.
[0011] In principle, in the combination of the first and second embodiments, the flange may be open on both the rear and lower sides, or only the rear or lower side of the flange may be open. In particular, when the flange is designed with an open lower side, the inserted inner housing can precisely fit to expand the flange and close the open lower side, so that the shape of the lock cylinder still conforms to the requirements of DIN 18252 despite the open lower side. The edge defining the opening formed on the lower side of the flange can form a stop for the inner housing during insertion, thus ensuring its correct positioning in a simple manner.
[0012] The inner housing may include multiple bolt channels for accommodating corresponding bolt springs and housing pins, which, together with the core pin, form a corresponding pin-shaped bolt. However, in principle, the inner housing may also be designed to have only one bolt channel for accommodating the bolt spring and housing pin, which, together with the core pin accommodated by the lock cylinder, form a single pin-shaped bolt. In particular, in such a lock cylinder design with a single pin-shaped bolt, additional locking elements may be integrated into the lock cylinder to reliably prevent rotation of the lock in the locked state.
[0013] By closing the flange on the front side of the outer casing, the flange on this front side protects the inner casing from the outside. Furthermore, when the inner casing is inserted, the closed front side of the flange forms a stop through the open rear side of the flange, thereby allowing easy tactile detection during installation to determine if the inner casing has reached the intended final position (e.g., even with force engagement by pressing it into the end position). This ensures proper positioning of the inner casing.
[0014] Corresponding to the front side of the housing mentioned in this invention is the front end of the lock cylinder, which is visible from the outside when the lock cylinder is installed, and typically has a key insertion opening for inserting a key into the lock cylinder portion. The lower side of the housing mentioned in this invention points in the direction in which the flange protrudes from the core receiving portion of the housing, and typically points downwards when the lock cylinder is installed.
[0015] In some embodiments, the housing may be circumferentially closed relative to the longitudinal axis, at least partially along its longitudinal range. In this case, the housing may circumferentially surround the lock cylinder and the inner housing, thereby reliably holding the lock cylinder and the inner housing in place and protecting them from external disturbances. Such a circumferentially closed housing can provide high stability, in particular, withstanding any forces generated during attempts to open it, and enabling enhanced security for the lock cylinder and the door locked through it.
[0016] The core receiving portion of the outer casing can be designed to surround a receiving space for the lock cylinder, wherein a flange of the outer casing surrounds a receiving space for the inner casing, and the receiving space for the lock cylinder opens into the receiving space for the inner casing. Specifically, the core receiving portion of the outer casing can be open towards the flange, and is circumferentially closed without interruption, and particularly lacks a radial opening for the insertion of the core pin (generally on the upper side of the core receiving portion). Thus, in such an embodiment, the outer casing is designed not to form a partition between the two receiving spaces, allowing the lock cylinder disposed inside the outer casing to directly contact one side, particularly the upper side, of the inner casing disposed within the flange. Therefore, the inner casing can abut the lock cylinder on its upper side facing the lock cylinder. Due to another uninterrupted circumferential periphery of the lock cylinder, the outer casing can be designed to be particularly stable and provide reliable protection against external interference.
[0017] The rear side of the housing can be completely open, so that not only the flange but also the core receiving portion on the rear side of the housing can have openings, especially continuous, common openings. This simplifies the manufacturing of the housing and the installation steps required on the rear side (insertion of the inner housing and fixation of the lock cylinder).
[0018] The lock cylinder can be directly installed in the cylinder receiving section of the housing. Therefore, the lock cylinder can be directly inserted into the housing. Regarding the rotatable installation of the lock cylinder, there is no need to insert or install any other components.
[0019] The inner shell inserted into the outer shell can extend substantially along the entire longitudinal range of the outer shell.
[0020] In some embodiments, the upper side of the inner housing may form a support portion for rotatably supporting the lock cylinder, wherein the support portion may be bent into a cylindrical recess. This allows the lock cylinder to rotate evenly and smoothly during closure. In such cases, the support portion may be particularly adapted to the shape of the lock cylinder and may be designed as a cylindrical or arc-shaped recess. In particular, the upper side or support portion may extend in an arc shape in the circumferential direction, the radius of which can match the outer radius of the lock cylinder within manufacturing tolerances. Additionally, the upper side of the inner housing may be designed such that the upper side continues the shape of the inner surface of the core receiver where the core receiver is interrupted towards the flange, thereby completely and accurately closing the lock cylinder inserted into the core receiver.
[0021] In some embodiments, the bolt channel of the inner housing may be open on the upper side of the inner housing. This allows the bolt spring and housing pin to enter the bolt channel directly from the upper side of the inner housing. Additionally, multiple bolt openings aligned with the corresponding bolt channels may be formed on the upper side, through which the housing pin protrudes. Thus, particularly when the lock cylinder is in the locked position, the housing pin can engage with the bolt channel of the lock cylinder to prevent rotation of the lock cylinder and, for example, lock the door.
[0022] The inner housing may have a closed bottom on the lower side away from the lock cylinder, on which the bolt spring is supported. In particular, this prevents the bolt spring and housing pin from disengaging from the bolt channel of the inner housing during installation. If the inner housing has a one-piece bottom (i.e., a single-piece bottom made of a single material), a separate component to support the bolt spring is not required, and installation work is reduced accordingly.
[0023] In some embodiments, the inner shell can be formed as a single piece. Alternatively, the inner shell can be designed as two parts, having a first inner shell portion and a second inner shell portion, adjacent to each other along the parting surface. Specifically, with such a two-part design of the inner shell, the longitudinal axis can extend in or parallel to the parting surface. The parting surface can pass through a bolt channel in the inner shell.
[0024] The outer shell may have at least one guide for guiding the inner shell during insertion into the flange, wherein the inner shell may have a mating guide complementary to the guide. For example, when the flange is designed to have an open rear side, the guide may be designed as a recess extending along or inclined relative to the longitudinal axis, in which a raised portion of the inner shell extends along or is inclined relative to the longitudinal axis, and during insertion along the longitudinal axis, the mating guide is formed and / or the inner shell is in an assembled state. This firstly allows for controlled and guided insertion of the inner shell into the outer shell. Furthermore, through such interaction of the guide and the mating guide in the radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis, the inserted inner shell can be stably supported in the outer shell and protected from external forces in that direction. Similarly, the guide may also be designed as a raised portion, while the mating guide may be designed as a recess. In particular, the guide may be formed on the flange. The recess and the raised portion may each be designed as a straight line, particularly as a groove or rail.
[0025] Even when the outer shell is designed to have an open lower side and the inner shell can be inserted into the flange through the open lower side, such interacting guides and mating guides can be provided, wherein, in particular, the guides and mating guides can extend along a transverse axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis or inclined relative to the longitudinal axis.
[0026] As described above, when the inner shell is inserted through the open rear side and when the inner shell is inserted through the open lower side, guides and interacting mating guides that extend obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis or the transverse axis can be provided so that the inner shell can be inserted into the flange from, for example, an oblique position from the open rear side or the open lower side.
[0027] In some embodiments, the inner shell can be held within the outer shell by force-fit and / or form-fit. Specifically, the inner shell can be embedded within the outer shell. Additionally, retaining elements can be formed on the inner shell to achieve or reinforce force-fit retention of the inner shell within the outer shell. For example, the inner shell may have a groove or undercut on at least one outer side, into which the outer shell is pressed to retain the inner shell by force-fit. Through such force-fit and / or form-fit retention of the inner shell within the outer shell, after the flange is inserted, the inner shell can be directly and reliably held within the outer shell without substantially requiring other installation steps to secure the inner shell within the outer shell.
[0028] Alternatively or additionally, in addition to the force-fit and / or form-fit of the inner shell within the outer shell, a retaining element extending transversely to the longitudinal axis may be provided to securely fasten the inner shell within the outer shell. The outer shell may have a locking opening aligned with a locking channel formed on the inner shell, wherein the inner shell may be axially secured within the outer shell relative to the longitudinal axis by the engagement of the retaining element through the locking opening in the locking channel. Such a retaining element may, in particular, be formed as a screw or a pin.
[0029] In some embodiments, the core receiving portion may have an access opening on the front side of the housing and form a front edge of the access opening, the lock core portion has a front widening portion located at the front edge of the access opening, the core receiving portion may have a through hole on the rear side of the housing and form a rear edge of the through hole, wherein at least one locking element is provided, the locking element being axially connected to the lock core portion relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein the locking element is at least partially supported on the rear edge of the through hole and / or at least partially overlaps with the rear end of the inner housing.
[0030] This access opening allows access to the lock cylinder even when it is in the installed state, enabling the use of a suitable key to rotate the cylinder and to lock or unlock the associated lock as needed. This creates a key insertion opening on the front side of the lock cylinder. Additionally, the lock cylinder can be inserted into the cylinder receiving portion through this access opening.
[0031] Because the lock cylinder has a widened portion or collar located at the front edge of the entry opening formed by the flange, it can prevent movement of the lock cylinder portion inserted into the cylinder receiving portion in the rearward direction of the housing relative to the longitudinal axis. Therefore, when the lock cylinder portion is inserted into the cylinder receiving portion through the entry opening, the front edge can first form a stop, so that the lock cylinder portion and the core pin housed therein can be easily and correctly positioned in the axial direction. In the installed state, the lock cylinder portion can also be fixed by the widened portion in the rearward direction of the housing. The lock cylinder portion can be axially fixed in the frontward direction of the housing by a locking element axially fixed to the lock cylinder portion and at least partially supported on the edge of the through hole opposite the entry opening. Thus, any axial movement of the lock cylinder portion, especially when attempting to disengage, can be reliably prevented, on the one hand by the widened portion and on the other hand by the locking element.
[0032] Additionally, by having the locking element at least partially overlap the rear end of the inner shell, the lock cylinder can be axially fixed relative to the longitudinal axis in the direction of the front side of the outer shell. In this direction, the movement of the inner shell is restricted by the flange portion closed on the front side of the outer shell, and thus the lock cylinder portion supported on the inner shell by the locking element is also axially supported on the front side by the flange portion. In particular, the inner shell can abut against the closed front side of the flange portion.
[0033] Conversely, especially in the locked state of the lock, where the housing pin engages radially with the bolt channel of the lock cylinder relative to the longitudinal axis, the inner housing can also be axially fixed by the lock cylinder, which is blocked on both axial sides. The inner housing is axially fixed not only by the engagement of the housing pin with the bolt channel of the lock cylinder, but also by a locking element overlapping the rear end of the inner housing, in the direction of the rear side of the flange, and together with the lock cylinder (through its widened portion located at the front edge of the entry opening), is axially fixed within the outer housing. Thus, although the rear side may be open, it is reliably preventable that the inner housing will detach from the outer housing in this direction. Similarly, the widened portion of the lock cylinder located at the front edge of the entry opening prevents the outer housing from being pulled forward from the inner housing.
[0034] Specifically, such a locking element can be configured as a retaining ring that is form-fitted into an engagement groove formed on the lock cylinder. The lock cylinder may protrude from a rear opening of the cylinder housing to allow for connection, for example, to a lock head, or to a lock cylinder of another lock cylinder via a coupling unit to form a double lock cylinder. For example, such a retaining ring may be C-shaped or designed as an arc with a gap, allowing it to be radially guided onto the lock cylinder and inserted into the engagement groove during installation by bending and widening the gap. Alternatively, or in addition to retaining rings formed in this manner, a compensating ring configured as a closed loop can be configured as the locking element. In particular, such an annular, and possibly additional, locking element ensures overlap of the rear end of the inner housing, which may be briefly released due to the gap in the C-shape, and can compensate for the retaining ring rotating with the lock cylinder during locking.
[0035] In some embodiments, at least one anti-drilling groove for receiving an anti-drilling pin may be formed on the outer side of the inner housing. This groove extends along an anti-drilling axis oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, wherein the inner housing forms the boundary of the anti-drilling groove at at least one end, i.e., at a first end and / or a second end relative to the anti-drilling axis. This design of the anti-drilling groove allows the anti-drilling pin to be inserted laterally into the groove and inserted together with the inner housing into the flange of the outer housing. Therefore, the anti-drilling pin can also be easily inserted from outside the outer housing without spatial limitations. In particular, the anti-drilling pin can be held in the anti-drilling groove by force-fit and / or form-fit, thereby preventing the anti-drilling pin from separating from the inner housing during installation.
[0036] The outer and inner shells can be made of different materials, wherein, in particular, the inner shell can be formed by die-cast zinc and / or the outer shell can be made of hardenable or hardened steel. Considering the corresponding requirements of these parts, this makes it possible to manufacture the specified parts of the lock cylinder as simply, quickly, and inexpensively as possible. In particular, making the outer shell of hardenable or hardened steel increases its resistance to attempts to break the lock cylinder by drilling.
[0037] In some embodiments, the inner housing may have a retaining portion designed to hold a connecting bridge for axially and form-fittingly connecting a lock cylinder to a connecting element, particularly another lock cylinder, relative to a longitudinal axis. Specifically, the outer housing may be designed to accommodate and / or circumferentially surround the connecting bridge.
[0038] Because the connecting bridge can be axially and form-fitted by the retaining part of the inner shell, the connecting bridge can also be first connected to the inner shell from the outside of the outer shell, and then inserted into the flange of the outer shell together with the inner shell. After the inner shell is inserted into the flange, the connecting bridge can be held axially by the retaining part relative to the longitudinal axis, and fixed in the radial direction by the outer shell surrounding the connecting bridge. This reliably prevents the connecting bridge from detaching from the inner shell or the outer shell, and from entering the connecting bridge from the outside.
[0039] For example, such a connecting bridge can be configured to connect one lock cylinder to another, with the two lock cylinders together forming a double lock cylinder. Additionally, a lock cylinder can be connected to another component via such a connecting bridge, so that, for example, the longitudinal axis extension of a lock cylinder accessible only from one side of the door can be adapted to the thickness of the corresponding door leaf and fittings.
[0040] The retaining portion of the inner shell may have at least one engaging strip oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis and form-fittingly engaged in an engaging recess formed on the connecting bridge. Alternatively or additionally, the flange portion of the outer shell may have a circumferential recess opening toward the rear side of the outer shell, to which the retaining portion of the inner shell is form-fittingly engaged.
[0041] Such a transversely oriented engagement bar engages in an engagement recess formed in the connecting bridge. This engagement bar enables a simple force-fit and / or form-fit connection between the connecting bridge and the retaining part, so as to fix the connecting bridge to the inner shell in the axial direction relative to the longitudinal axis. Furthermore, the connecting bridge may have multiple engagement recesses spaced apart from each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis, particularly arranged according to a regular grid, thereby allowing the length of the portion of the connecting bridge extending out of the outer shell along the longitudinal axis to be variably adjusted. In particular, the longitudinal extension of the device consisting of the lock cylinder and another element, such as a second lock cylinder connected to the lock cylinder via the connecting bridge (e.g., a double lock cylinder), can be flexibly adapted to corresponding conditions.
[0042] If the flange of the outer shell has a circumferential recess in the direction of the rear side of the outer shell, the space required to accommodate the connecting bridge can be specifically created. In such a case, the retaining part of the inner shell can reliably engage in the recess of the outer shell and close it flush, thus still enabling a lock cylinder design that is completely closed on the outside.
[0043] The present invention also relates to a double lock cylinder having a first lock cylinder and a second lock cylinder designed as disclosed herein, and a connecting bridge, wherein the first lock cylinder and the second lock cylinder are connected to each other by the connecting bridge, wherein the connecting bridge is held axially by a corresponding retaining portion of the inner shell of the lock cylinder.
[0044] As explained above, the design of the lock cylinders allows for simplified and quick installation of these cylinders and their connection to the connecting bridge. The connecting bridge, held in place by an inner shell fixed within the outer casing, securely holds the two lock cylinders together.
[0045] This design incorporates a connecting unit between the first and second lock cylinders, linking their cylinder sections together. Specifically, this allows for easy operation of both lock cylinders from both sides of the door.
[0046] The connecting bridge may have a threaded hole at the front end. This allows the double lock cylinder to be secured in the door's latch.
[0047] In some embodiments, at least one spacer may be provided, arranged between the connecting unit and the first lock cylinder and / or between the connecting unit and the second lock cylinder, defining a distance between the first and second lock cylinders in an axial direction relative to the longitudinal axis. In particular, with such a spacer, the extension of the double lock cylinders along the longitudinal axis can be flexibly adapted to the corresponding door leaf thickness. The spacer may have an insertion portion through which the connecting bridge is guided. Thus, the spacer can be easily pushed over the connecting bridge along the longitudinal axis during installation and circumferentially surrounds the connecting bridge in the installed state. In particular, the spacer may be form-fitted and / or force-fitted connected to the connecting bridge and may have at least one engaging strip that engages in a corresponding engaging recess in the connecting bridge.
[0048] The present invention also relates to a method for installing a lock cylinder as disclosed herein. In this method, one or more core pins are inserted into one or more bolt channels of the lock cylinder portion, which is axially inserted into the core receiving portion of the outer casing relative to the longitudinal axis, particularly through the core receiving portion of the outer casing on its front side. A bolt spring and a housing pin are inserted into one or more bolt channels of the inner casing. Then, according to a first embodiment, the inner casing is inserted into the flange portion of the outer casing through the rear side of the flange portion of the outer casing, particularly along the longitudinal axis of the lock cylinder or in a direction inclined relative to the longitudinal axis; or according to a second embodiment, the inner casing is inserted into the flange portion of the outer casing through the lower side of the flange portion of the outer casing, particularly along a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis or in a direction inclined relative to the transverse axis.
[0049] Because the core pin, bolt spring, and housing pin can all be inserted from the outside of the outer casing into the corresponding bolt channels of the lock cylinder or inner housing, these small components can be inserted more easily and without any space constraints. The linear insertion of the lock cylinder and inner housing allows for simple implementation, thus enabling very quick installation and completion.
[0050] For example, the lock cylinder can be inserted into the core receiving portion of the housing in such a way that the opening of the bolt channel of the lock cylinder is covered by the inner surface of the housing, thereby preventing the core pin from falling out. If the flange has an open rear side, the inner housing can be inserted into the flange through the rear side of the housing, for example, axially relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein the housing pin, which at least partially protrudes from the bolt channel of the inner housing, can be pushed back, for example, manually, against the preload applied by the bolt spring during insertion. Once the corresponding bolt channel with the corresponding bolt spring and the corresponding housing pin is pushed into the flange, the housing pin is prevented from being pushed out from the adjacent outer surface of the inserted lock cylinder, and can be further pushed into the inner housing.
[0051] As an alternative to inserting the inner housing through an open rear side, the flange may have an open lower side, through which the inner housing, along with the housed bolt spring and outer housing pin, can be inserted into the flange. The outer housing pin, protruding from the bolt channel due to the preload of the bolt spring, can be pushed back by the inner housing pressing against the outer side of the lock cylinder. Furthermore, the inner housing can be held within the outer housing in a form-fit and / or force-fit manner during or due to insertion, thereby preventing the inner housing from being pushed out of the outer housing by the spring force applied by the bolt spring and transmitted to the lock cylinder through the outer housing pin.
[0052] After the inner shell is fully inserted, the lock cylinder can be rotated, for example, using a key or tool, to align the bolt channel of the lock cylinder with the bolt channel of the inner shell. In this position, due to the preload applied by the bolt spring, the housing pin engages with the bolt channel of the lock cylinder and prevents further rotational movement. By inserting a suitable key, the core pin can be arranged to push the housing pin out of the bolt channel of the lock cylinder against the preload of the bolt spring, releasing the lock cylinder for rotational movement, for example, enabling the unlocking of a locked door.
[0053] As already mentioned, after the lock cylinder is inserted into the cylinder receiving portion and after the inner housing has been inserted into the flange portion of the outer housing, the lock cylinder can be connected to the locking element, particularly the retaining ring. Thus, the lock cylinder can be fixedly positioned in the axial direction and resist forces acting in that direction. It can be designed such that the locking element at least partially overlaps with the rear end of the inner housing, thereby securing the inner housing to prevent rearward axial movement relative to the lock cylinder.
[0054] With this design, the inner shell is held within the outer shell by a form-fit and / or force-fit due to its insertion into the outer shell's flange, wherein, particularly when inserted into the outer shell, the inner shell can be riveted. This allows the inner shell to be stably installed within the outer shell without requiring further installation steps after the inner shell has been inserted and secured.
[0055] The inner shell can be manufactured as a single piece, or the inner shell can have a first inner shell portion and a second inner shell portion, wherein the first inner shell portion and the second inner shell portion can be connected to each other before the bolt spring and the housing pin are inserted, particularly along the parting surface of the inner shell.
[0056] The present invention also relates to a method for installing a double lock cylinder as disclosed herein, the method comprising the following steps: - Insert one or more core pins into one or more bolt channels in the lock cylinder portion of the first lock cylinder; - The lock cylinder portion is axially inserted into the flange portion of the first lock cylinder housing relative to the longitudinal axis of the first lock cylinder, particularly through its front side; - Insert one or more bolt springs and one or more housing pins into one or more bolt channels in the inner housing of the first lock cylinder; - Connect the connecting bridge to the retaining part of the inner shell of the first lock cylinder; - The inner shell and connecting bridge of the first lock cylinder are arranged to be inserted into the outer shell of the first lock cylinder through the rear side of the outer shell of the first lock cylinder, specifically along the longitudinal axis of the first lock cylinder or in a direction inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the first lock cylinder. or The inner shell and connecting bridge of the first lock cylinder are arranged to be inserted into the outer shell of the first lock cylinder through the lower side of the outer shell of the first lock cylinder, specifically along a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis or in a direction inclined to the transverse direction relative to the first lock cylinder. - Insert one or more core pins into one or more bolt channels in the lock cylinder portion of the second lock cylinder; - The lock cylinder portion is axially inserted into the flange portion of the second lock cylinder housing relative to the longitudinal axis of the second lock cylinder, particularly through its front side; - Insert one or more bolt springs and one or more housing pins into one or more bolt channels in the inner housing of the second lock cylinder; - Connect the connecting bridge to the retaining part of the inner shell of the second lock cylinder; and - The inner shell and connecting bridge of the second lock cylinder are arranged to be inserted into the outer shell of the second lock cylinder through the rear side of the outer shell of the second lock cylinder, specifically along the longitudinal axis of the second lock cylinder or in a direction inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the second lock cylinder. or The inner shell and connecting bridge of the second lock cylinder are arranged to be inserted into the outer shell of the second lock cylinder through the lower side of the outer shell of the second lock cylinder, specifically along a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis or in a direction inclined relative to the transverse axis of the second lock cylinder.
[0057] The longitudinal axis of the first lock cylinder may be specifically aligned with the longitudinal axis of the second lock cylinder.
[0058] In this installation method, the first lock cylinder of the double lock cylinder is first installed, basically as described above. Before the inner shell is inserted into the flange of the outer shell of the first lock cylinder, a connecting bridge is connected to the retaining portion of the inner shell. Then, the connecting bridge is inserted into the outer shell together with the inner shell. The connecting bridge protrudes axially from the outer shell relative to the longitudinal axis of the first lock cylinder so as to connect with the inner shell of the second lock cylinder.
[0059] The core pin of the second lock cylinder is also inserted into the bolt channel of the lock cylinder part of the second lock cylinder, and the lock cylinder part is axially inserted into the core receiving part of the second lock cylinder. The inner shell of the second lock cylinder can be connected to the connecting bridge that is already connected to the first lock cylinder through the retaining part, so that after the inner shell is inserted into the flange of the outer shell of the second lock cylinder, the two lock cylinders can be held together by the connecting bridge, and the double lock cylinders are fully installed.
[0060] This design allows the connecting unit to engage with the lock cylinder portion of the first lock cylinder before the inner shell of the second lock cylinder is fully inserted into the outer shell of the second lock cylinder. Specifically, the connecting unit can engage with the lock cylinder portion of the first lock cylinder before the inner shell of the second lock cylinder is fully inserted or before the inner shell of the second lock cylinder begins to be inserted, so that the connecting unit also engages with the lock cylinder portion of the second lock cylinder after the inner shell is fully inserted.
[0061] This design allows the spacer to connect to the connecting bridge of the first lock cylinder and / or the lock cylinder section of the second lock cylinder. In particular, this allows the extension of the double lock cylinders along the longitudinal axis to flexibly adapt to corresponding conditions, especially to the thickness of the door leaf and fittings of the door in which the double lock cylinders are inserted.
[0062] The retaining part may have at least one corresponding engaging strip protruding from the interior of the inner shell, wherein the connecting bridge may have at least one corresponding engaging recess, during connection between the connecting bridge and the corresponding retaining part, the engaging strip being able to engage in a form-fitting manner in the corresponding engaging recess. In this way, a simple and quick connection between the connecting bridge and the retaining part can be achieved.
[0063] Alternatively, the inner shell can be designed to be held in the corresponding flange by form and / or force fit upon insertion into the outer shell, wherein, in particular, the inner shell can be riveted upon insertion. Alternatively or otherwise, as explained above, appropriate fastening elements (such as screws or pins oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis) can be used for insertion.
[0064] Even with such a double lock cylinder, after the corresponding inner shell is inserted into the flange of the corresponding outer shell, as explained above, the locking element can be attached to the corresponding lock cylinder to fix it in the axial direction. By overlapping the rear ends of the corresponding inner shells, it is possible to ensure that the inner shell moves axially backward relative to the corresponding lock cylinder. [0067] Figure 1 A double lock cylinder 81 is shown, extending along a longitudinal axis L, and having a first lock cylinder 11 and a second lock cylinder 61. In this embodiment, lock cylinders 11 and 61 are connected to each other by a connecting bridge 59. For example, such a double lock cylinder 81 can be used in a door bolt lock to allow the door to be optionally locked or unlocked from both sides. In order to axially fix the double lock cylinder 81 relative to the longitudinal axis L in such a bolt lock, the connecting bridge 59 has a front threaded hole 69, thereby preventing the double lock cylinder 81 inserted into the bolt lock from being pulled out.
[0068] In order to enable the double lock cylinders 81 to be used for, for example, locking or unlocking a door, the corresponding lock cylinder portion 31 is inserted into the corresponding housing 21 of the lock cylinder 11 or lock cylinder 61, and is rotatably mounted in the cylindrical core receiving portion 23 of the housing 21. Here, the core receiving portion 23 of the housing 21 has an entry opening 85 on the front side 27, so that the lock cylinder portion 31 can be axially inserted into the core receiving portion 23 relative to the longitudinal axis L through the front side 27. The lock cylinder portion 31 has a widening portion 89 (clasp) formed on the front side, which is positioned on the edge 87 of the entry opening 85 formed by the core receiving portion 31 in the inserted state. The widening portion 89 prevents the lock cylinder portion 31 from axially moving relative to the longitudinal axis L in the direction of the rear side 29, and the edge 87 forms a stop for the lock cylinder portion 31 when it is inserted into the core receiving portion 31. Additionally, the entry opening 85 on the front side 27 of the lock cylinder 11 and lock cylinder 61 allows the inserted lock cylinder portion 31 to be grasped so that a suitable key (not shown) can be inserted into the key insertion opening 75 and the lock cylinder portion 31 can be rotated to optionally lock or unlock the door.
[0069] For this purpose, rotation of the lock cylinder 31 can be transmitted to the lock head 73 to move the bolt of the bolt. To prevent the housings 21 of the lock cylinders 11 and 61 from rotating simultaneously during closing, and to allow the double lock cylinders 81 to be non-rotatably positioned in the bolt, in addition to the cylindrical core receiving portion 23, the housing 21 also has a flange 25 that projects radially relative to the longitudinal axis L. The flange 25 of the housing 21 closes on the corresponding front sides 27 of the lock cylinders 11 and 61 (see...). Figure 1 and Figure 2 ), and is open at the corresponding rear side 29 of the outer casing 21 (see Figure 3A , Figure 3B and Figure 5A , Figure 5B ).
[0070] The lock cylinder 31 is axially fixed to the front side 27 relative to the longitudinal axis L by a corresponding retaining ring 77, so as to reliably prevent the lock cylinder 31 from being pulled out axially, especially during an attempt to start (see also...). Figures 2 to 5B These retaining rings 77, which serve as locking elements, are inserted into corresponding circumferential engagement grooves 97 in the lock cylinder portion 31 and are positioned at the edge 93 of the through hole 91 formed on the rear side 29 of the core receiving portion 23, thereby preventing the lock cylinder portion 31 from moving axially relative to the longitudinal axis L via the corresponding retaining rings 77 (see in particular). Figure 4A and Figure 4B Therefore, the lock cylinder 31 is held in the cylinder receiving portion 23 completely or fixedly on both sides of the cylinder receiving portion 23 relative to the longitudinal axis L, either by the widened portion 89 on one side and the retaining ring 77 on the other side.
[0071] like Figure 2As shown in the cross-sectional view, lock cylinders 11 and 61 each have six pins 13, which prevent rotational movement of the lock cylinder portion 31 in the locked state. These pins 13 include a core pin 15, a housing pin 17, and a bolt spring 19. The core pin 15 is slidably mounted in the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder portion 31, while the housing pin 17 and bolt spring 19 are slidably mounted in the bolt channel 37 of the inner housing 35. The inner housing 35 is axially inserted relative to the longitudinal axis L into the flange 25 of the corresponding outer housing 21 of the lock cylinder 11 or lock cylinder 61 (see also...). Figure 3A , Figure 3B and Figure 5A , Figure 5B To allow the inner housing 35 to be axially inserted into the flange 25, the flange 25 of the outer housing 21 is open on its rear side 29 (see...). Figures 3A to 5B ).
[0072] exist Figure 2 In the locked position shown, the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder 31 is aligned with the bolt channel 37 of the inner housing 35 by its rotational position. Due to the preload applied by the corresponding bolt spring 19, the housing pin 17 protrudes into the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder 31 in this position, thereby preventing rotation of the lock cylinder 31. By inserting a suitable key into the key insertion opening 75 of the lock cylinder 31, the core pin 15, together with its housing pin 17, can overcome the preload of the bolt spring 19, thereby positioning the housing pin 17 just outside the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder 31 without the core pin 15 protruding into the bolt channel 37 of the inner housing 35. This allows the lock cylinder 31 and the lock head 73 (see...) Figure 1 It can rotate, for example, to unlock a door.
[0073] Furthermore, by engaging the housing pin 17 in the bolt channel 33 of the corresponding lock cylinder portion 31, the inner housing 35 is securely connected to the lock cylinder portion 31 in the locked position in the axial direction relative to the longitudinal axis L. Therefore, since the lock cylinder portion 31 is axially fixed on both sides by the widening portion 89 and the retaining ring 77, the inner housing 35 is also axially fixed in the flange portion 25 in the locked position. Additionally, the retaining ring 77 partially overlaps with the corresponding rear surface 95 of the inner housing 35, so that the inner housing 35 can be indirectly fixed by the widening portion 89 of the lock cylinder portion 31 or directly fixed by the retaining ring 77 in the direction of the open rear side 29 of the relevant flange portion 25 (specifically, see...). Figure 4A and Figure 4B Such axial fixation prevents the inner housing 35 from being pressed out of the outer housing 21 in the direction of the open rear side 29, and prevents the outer housing 21 from being pulled out of the inner housing 35, especially when attempting to start.
[0074] Conversely, through the connection between the inner housing 35 and the lock cylinder 31 via the pin 13 and the retaining ring 77 in the locked position, the lock cylinder 31 is also secured in the direction of the front side 27 of the outer housing 21 by the flange 25 closed therein. This additional securing via the inner housing 35 makes it more difficult to attempt to pull the lock cylinder 31 out of the corresponding access opening 85.
[0075] In particular, such as in Figure 3A , Figure 3B , Figure 5A and Figure 5B As shown, in addition to the C-shaped retaining ring 77 for each lock cylinder 31, a circumferentially closed compensation ring 79 is provided for axially fixing the lock cylinder 31 in the direction of the front side 27 of the housing 21 or the core receiving portion 23. This annular locking element, specifically in addition to the retaining ring 77, ensures that the rear end 95 of the inner housing 35 permanently overlaps with the compensation ring 79 and is fixed via the lock cylinder 31, which is axially fixed in the direction of the open rear side 29 of the flange portion 25. Therefore, any stability loss that may exist in the rotational position of the lock cylinder 31 can be compensated by the gap in the C-shaped retaining ring 77 being precisely positioned in the area of the inner housing 35.
[0076] A connecting unit 71 is arranged between the lock cylinder 11 and the lock cylinder part 31 of the lock cylinder 61 (see...). Figure 2 The connecting unit 71 can be used to engage the lock cylinder 73 with the lock cylinder 11 and the lock cylinder 61, and to insert a suitable key into its lock cylinder section 31 so that the double lock cylinder 81 can be operated from both sides.
[0077] In addition to the central portion with the front threaded hole 69, the connecting bridge 59 is inserted into and surrounded by the corresponding flange 25 of the outer shell 21 together with the inner shell 35. Thus, the outer shell 21 of the lock cylinder 11 or lock cylinder 61 circumferentially surrounds the lock cylinder portion 31, the inner shell 35, and the insertion portion of the connecting bridge 59, thereby reliably protecting these portions, especially the pin 13, from external gripping and forces, particularly during attempts to start the lock. Due to its circumferentially closed design, the outer shell 21 exhibits high stability.
[0078] Furthermore, the core receiving portion 23 of the outer casing 21 opens toward the corresponding flange portion 25, allowing the lock cylinder portion 31 to directly contact the upper side 39 of the inner casing 35, thus forming a support portion 41 for the lock cylinder portion 31. Therefore, there is no separation between the core receiving portion 23 and the flange portion 25 in the outer casing 21, and the entire interior of the outer casing 21 can be used to arrange the corresponding lock cylinder portion 31 and the corresponding inner casing 35 with the connecting bridge 59.
[0079] To allow such a double lock cylinder 81 to be particularly flexible in adapting to the thickness of its respective latch or fitting and door leaf, it is typically installed at the point of use. For example, an insertable washer, not shown, may be provided between lock cylinder 11 and lock cylinder 61 to allow the extension of the double lock cylinder 81 along the longitudinal axis L to adapt to the corresponding door. However, particularly in the case of a conventionally designed double lock cylinder 81 or lock cylinders 11 and 61, the installation of the small pin bolt 13 can be complex and time-consuming.
[0080] In comparison, the lock cylinders 11 and 61 disclosed herein allow for simplified and rapid installation of the lock cylinders 11 and 61 themselves, as well as the double lock cylinders 81 formed therefrom. Specifically, this refers to... Figure 3A and Figure 3B The following is an illustration. The installation of lock cylinder 11 and its connection to connecting bridge 59 are described first, followed by the installation of the second lock cylinder 61 and its connection to the first lock cylinder 11 to form a double lock cylinder 81. However, in principle, the installation order of lock cylinder 11 and lock cylinder 61 is arbitrary, and the installation steps can also be performed in a different order than described herein.
[0081] The installation of the lock cylinder 11 can be initiated by inserting the core pin 15 outside the housing 21 into the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder portion 31. Then, the lock cylinder portion 31 can be axially inserted into the cylinder receiving portion 23 via the front side 27 of the housing 21 relative to the longitudinal axis L, thereby directly supporting the lock cylinder portion 31 on the inner surface of the cylinder receiving portion 23. The lock cylinder portion 11 can be inserted into a rotating position, wherein the opening of the bolt channel 33 is blocked by the inner surface of the cylinder receiving portion 23, preventing the inserted core pin 15 from dislodging from the bolt channel 33. Then, by means of the retaining ring 77 and the compensating ring 79, the inserted lock cylinder portion 31 can be axially fixed in the cylinder receiving portion 23 relative to the longitudinal axis L.
[0082] The bolt spring 19 and housing pin 17 can also be inserted from above into the bolt channel 37 of the inner housing 35 from the outside of the outer housing 21. Here, the bolt channel 37 is closed by the inner housing 35 on the lower side opposite the upper side 39 of the inner housing 35, so that the inserted bolt spring 19 and housing pin 17 cannot fall out of the inner housing 35.
[0083] The inner shell 35 also has corresponding anti-drilling grooves 53 on the two outer sides 51, which extend along an anti-drilling axis B perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L (see...). Figure 3A and Figure 3B as well as Figure 5A and Figure 5B The anti-drilling groove 53 is closed by the inner shell 35 at two opposite ends about the anti-drilling axis B, so that the anti-drilling pin (not shown) can be inserted laterally into the anti-drilling groove 53 to prevent the corresponding lock cylinder 11 or lock cylinder 61 from being drilled out during an attempt to start.
[0084] For connection to the connecting bridge 59, the inner shell 35 is designed with a retaining portion 57, through which the connecting bridge 59 can be axially held on the inner shell 35 relative to the longitudinal axis L. For this purpose, the retaining portion 57 has two engaging bars 63, which are adapted to engage in a form-fitting manner with respective engaging recesses 65 formed on the connecting bridge 59 (see...). Figure 3A and 5A The connecting bridge 59 has four corresponding engagement recesses 65 on both sides for connecting to the inner housing 35 of the lock cylinder 11 or lock cylinder 61, thereby allowing flexible adjustment of the portion of the connecting bridge 59 that protrudes axially beyond the inner housing 35 relative to the longitudinal axis L. In particular, this allows for the placement of a spacer (not shown) between the lock cylinder 11 and lock cylinder 61, so that the extension of the double lock cylinder 81 can be adapted to the thickness of the corresponding fitting or door leaf.
[0085] Therefore, during the installation of lock cylinders 11 and 61, as well as the double lock cylinders 81, the bolt spring 19, housing pin 17, two anti-drilling pins, and connecting bridge 59 can be connected to the inner housing 35 from the outside of the outer housing 21. In particular, the small bolt spring 19 and housing pin 17 can be conveniently inserted without space constraints, thus simplifying and speeding up the process.
[0086] According to the first embodiment, Figures 1 to 5B The lock cylinders 11 and 61 shown have flange portions 25 with corresponding closed front sides 27, open rear sides 29, and closed lower sides 83. This allows the inner housing 35, with its inserted bolt spring 19 and housing pin 17, to be axially inserted into the flange portion 25 of the first lock cylinder 11 via the open rear side 29 of the housing 21, by means of the anti-drill pin inserted in the anti-drill channel 53 and the connecting bridge 59 connected to the retaining portion 35.
[0087] During the axial insertion of the inner shell 35 into the flange 25, it is only necessary to push the housing pin 17, which is pushed out of the locking channel 37 of the inner shell 35 by the bolt spring 19, into the bolt channel 37 to overcome the pretension, so as to counteract the impact of the housing pin 17 on the already inserted locking cylinder 31 and the resulting obstruction of the inner shell 35. In order to facilitate the insertion of the inner shell 35 into the flange 25 and to fix the inner shell 35 radially in the flange 25 relative to the longitudinal axis L, the flange 25 has a guide 47 designed as a recess or groove, which works in conjunction with the mating guide 49 formed as a protrusion on the inner shell 35. In addition, the closed front side 27 of the flange 25 can form a stop for the inserted inner shell 35 so as to make it easy to create a tactile feeling of correct positioning. It can also be designed so that after the flange 25 is inserted, the inner shell 35 is held in the outer shell 21 in a form fit and / or force fit manner, for this purpose, especially during the insertion process, the inner shell 35 can be locked. Alternatively, grooves or undercuts can be provided on the inner shell 35, for example, to press the outer shell 21 into it, to establish or strengthen the force fit and / or form fit between the inner shell 35 and the outer shell 21. With such a connection, the inner shell 35 can be directly fixed in the outer shell 21 after insertion.
[0088] Alternatively, the inner shell 35 can be axially inserted into the flange 25 relative to the longitudinal axis L via the rear side 29 of the outer shell 21, and the outer shell 21 and the inner shell 35 can be formed by means of a guide 47 or a mating guide 49 extending in this manner, so that the inner shell 35 is pushed in through the open rear side 29 from a direction that extends obliquely or intersectingly relative to the longitudinal axis L. For example, the groove-shaped guide 47 on the outer shell 21 can extend obliquely upward from the end of the closed front side 27 near the flange 25 along the direction of the open rear side 29, so that the inner shell 21 can be inserted into the flange 25 obliquely from above through the rear side 29 of the outer shell 21.
[0089] Additionally, the outer casing 21 and its flange 25 have a recess 67 adjacent to the rear side 29, in which the retaining portion 57 of the inner casing 35 is shaped to engage in the recess (see also...). Figure 1 and Figure 4B The recess 67 allows sufficient space to be formed inside the flange 25 to accommodate the connecting bridge 59, while maintaining the shape of the retaining portion 57 to precisely fit and close the recess 67.
[0090] After the inner housing 35 is fully inserted, the lock cylinder 31 can be rotated, for example, using a suitable key or tool, to align the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder 31 with the bolt channel 37 of the inner housing 35, thereby engaging the housing pin 17 in the bolt channel 33 of the lock cylinder 31 (see...). Figure 2 ).
[0091] Figure 4A and Figure 4BA perspective side view of the fully installed first lock cylinder 11 is shown. The lock cylinder 11 is securely connected to a connecting bridge 59, which protrudes axially from the housing 21 relative to the longitudinal axis L. Furthermore, particularly... Figure 4B The engagement of the retaining portion 57 of the inner shell 35 in the recess 67 of the outer shell 21 is shown.
[0092] To fully install the double lock cylinders 81, the second lock cylinder 61 can be installed as described above by first inserting the lock cylinder portion 31 with the inserted core pin 15 axially relative to the longitudinal axis L from the front side 27 into the core receiving portion 23 of the housing 21. The bolt spring 19 and housing pin 17 can also be introduced into the bolt channel 37 of the inner housing 35, and the anti-drilling pin can be inserted into the anti-drilling channel 53. Then, or alternatively, before inserting the components, the inner housing 35 can be connected to the connecting bridge 59, which is already connected to the first lock cylinder 11, by engaging the engaging bar 63 with the engaging recess 65 in a shaped fit. The inner housing 35 of the second lock cylinder 61 can then be pushed axially relative to the longitudinal axis L into the flange portion 25 via the rear side 29 of the corresponding housing 21, thereby securely connecting the two lock cylinders 11 and 61 to each other via the connecting bridge 59. Specifically, the connecting unit 71 and the lock head 73 can be connected to the first lock cylinder 11 and its lock cylinder portion 31 before or during the insertion of the inner shell 35 of the second lock cylinder 61, such that the connecting unit 71 and the lock head 73 are also connected to the lock cylinder portion 31 of the second lock cylinder 61 after the inner shell 35 of the second lock cylinder 61 is inserted. Therefore, the double lock cylinder 81 can be fully installed by simply pushing the two lock cylinders 11 and 61 together axially.
[0093] Figure 5A and Figure 5B A perspective side view of another embodiment of the lock cylinder 11 and its inner housing 35 is shown. The inner housing 35 is designed to have two parts: a first inner housing portion 43 and a second inner housing portion 45. During the installation of the lock cylinder 11, the two inner housing portions 43 and 45 can be connected to each other at a parting surface extending along the longitudinal axis L before the insertion spring 19 and the housing pin 17. Installation can then be performed as easily and quickly as described above.
[0094] Lock cylinders 11 and 61 are designed with an open outer casing 21 on the rear side 29, allowing the inner casing 35 to be inserted axially relative to the longitudinal axis L. This design enables quick and easy installation of lock cylinders 11 and 61 and allows them to be connected to the double lock cylinder 81. Specifically, this allows the small core pin 15, housing pin 17, and bolt spring 19 to be inserted into the lock cylinder portion 31 or inner casing 35 outside the outer casing 21, thereby simplifying and thus accelerating the typically extremely time-consuming installation process of the pin bolt 13. Furthermore, the outer casing 21 and inner casing 35 can be made of different materials; specifically, the outer casing 21 can be made of steel, while the inner casing 35 can be made of zinc die casting. Therefore, considering the corresponding requirements for the parts, the manufacture and processing of the outer casing 21 and inner casing 35 can be carried out as simply as possible.
[0095] like Figure 6A and Figure 6B As shown, in the second embodiment, the outer shell 21 of the lock cylinder 11 has an open lower side 83 in addition to the open rear side 29, and the inner shell 35 can be inserted into the flange 25 through its axial extension about the transverse axis Q perpendicular to the longitudinal axis L. Here, it is also possible to use the embodiments described above and... Figures 1 to 5B As shown, first insert the lock cylinder part 31 with the inserted core pin 15. Figure 6A and Figure 6B (Not shown in the diagram) The core receiving portion 23 of the outer casing 21 is inserted axially relative to the longitudinal axis L. Then, the bolt spring 19 and the housing pin 17 can be inserted from above into the bolt channel 37 of the inner casing 21 outside the outer casing 21, and are inserted into the flange portion 25 together with the inner casing 21 via a simple linear movement through the lower side 83. As the inner casing 21 is pushed in and pressed against the inserted lock core portion 31, the housing pin 17, which extends from the bolt channel 37 due to the pretension of the bolt spring 19, can be automatically pushed back.
[0096] In the same embodiment, a guide 47 with a groove designed to extend along the transverse axis Q is provided on the outer shell 21. This guide 47 works in conjunction with the slatted mating guide 49 of the inner shell 35 to enable controlled insertion into the flange 25. Alternatively, for such insertion along the transverse axis Q, the guide 47 and the mating guide 49 may be configured to extend at an acute angle about the transverse axis Q or obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis L, so that, for example, the inner shell 35 can be obliquely inserted into the flange 25 from the rear side 29 of the outer shell 21 through its open lower side 83.
[0097] Additionally, the outer casing 35 has a retaining portion 57 with a connecting strip 63 for shaped-fitting connection with the connecting bridge 59. This retaining portion 57 is also designed to engage a recess 67 in the outer casing 21 provided for this purpose. Furthermore, the inner casing 21 matches the outer casing 35 such that it precisely closes the open lower side 83 of the flange 25 and the recess 67, ensuring that the shape of the lock cylinder 11 in the installed state precisely meets the requirements of DIN 18252.
