Description

Technical Field

[0001] Some example embodiments may typically relate to mobile or wireless telecommunications systems such as 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE), 5G Radio Access Technology (RAT), New Radio (NR) access technology, 6G, and / or other communication systems. For example, some example embodiments may relate to systems and / or methods for obtaining cell information, wherein System Information Block 1 (SIB1) is transmitted from the capacity cell on demand. Background Technology

[0002] Examples of mobile or wireless telecommunications systems may include radio frequency (RF) 5GRAT, Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN), Evolved LTE UTRAN (E-UTRAN), LTE-A Advanced, LTE-A Pro, NR access technologies and / or the MulteFire Alliance. 5G radio systems refer to next-generation (NG) radio systems and network architectures. 5G systems are typically built on 5G NR, but 5G (or NG) networks can also be built on E-UTRA radio. NR is expected to support service categories such as enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC), and massive machine-type communications (mMTC). NR is expected to provide extremely wideband, ultra-robust low-latency connectivity, and massive networking to support the Internet of Things (IoT). Next-generation radio access network (NG-RAN) refers to the radio access network (RAN) used for 5G, which provides radio access for NR, LTE, and LTE-A. It should be noted that nodes that provide radio access to user equipment in 5G (e.g., similar to Node B in UTRAN or Evolved Node B (eNB) in LTE) can be called Next Generation Node B (gNB) when built on NR radio, and Next Generation eNB (NG-eNB) when built on E-UTRA radio.

[0003] Various techniques exist to minimize network energy consumption by reducing the number of transmissions from a network perspective. Since networks may experience extended periods of low load, there are opportunities for further energy savings, such as reducing the transmission of periodically active signals. For example, cells in the network can enter an energy-saving mode by implementing energy-saving measures (e.g., suspending SIB1 transmissions or enabling on-demand SIB1).

[0004] However, efficient and reliable technologies are still needed to restore cells in energy-saving mode to operational status while minimizing data communication disruptions in the network. Summary of the Invention

Detailed Implementation

[0066] It is readily understood that, as generally described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, components of certain example embodiments may be arranged and designed in a variety of different configurations. Therefore, the following detailed description of some example embodiments of systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for minimizing lost paging messages during on-demand SIB1 of a user equipment (UE) acquiring a capacity cell is not intended to limit the scope of certain example embodiments, but rather to represent selected example embodiments.

[0067] As mentioned above, there are various techniques for minimizing network energy consumption by reducing the number of transmissions from a network perspective. Since networks may experience long periods of low load, there are opportunities to further save energy, for example, by reducing the transmission of periodic signals that are always on (e.g., System Information Block 1 (SIB1)).

[0068] As used throughout this discussion, an "anchor cell" can refer to a cell through which information about another cell can be provided to the UE. An anchor cell may be active for a longer period than the capacity cell it is anchored to. A capacity cell may have more than one anchor cell, and an anchor cell may also function as a capacity cell.

[0069] Similarly, a "capacity cell" can refer to a cell that can utilize a deeper sleep state, one of which may include suspending SIB1 transmissions and enabling on-demand SIB1. A capacity cell may require an anchor cell to assist in providing its acquisition or configuration information. As mentioned above, an anchor cell can also serve as a capacity cell, thus a given capacity cell can be used as an anchor cell for other cells.

[0070] When a cell (which may be a capacity cell) enters power-saving mode by implementing power-saving measures (e.g., suspending SIB1 transmission, enabling on-demand SIB1), the UE can determine when to acquire its SIB1 in the power-saving state of the capacity cell. To this end, the UE can cooperate with an anchor cell. The anchor cell may have a larger coverage area and / or provide the UE with information on how to access capacity cells that can enter power-saving mode and / or suspend SIB1 transmission. By using the anchor cell, the UE can learn how to acquire SIB1 for the capacity cell.

[0071] like Figure 1 As shown, the wake-up signal (WUS) configuration, SIB1 timing configuration, and other information of the capacity cell can be transmitted from the capacity cell to the anchor cell, and then obtained by the UE from the anchor cell. The UE can then use the capacity cell's WUS configuration to transmit the WUS to the capacity cell, and the capacity cell initiates SIB1 transmission upon receiving the WUS. Subsequently, the UE can obtain the capacity cell's SIB1.

[0072] However, during this process, there may be a time interval between the UE sending the WUS and the transmission of the capacity cell SIB1 and the UE acquiring the SIB1. During this interval, the UE may be unable to decode paging messages sent on the capacity cell, and may also be unable to decode paging messages sent on the anchor cell if it is not synchronized with the anchor cell. Potential factors that may increase this interval may include one or more of the following: the UE waiting for a WUS transmission opportunity, which may be infrequent because the capacity cell is in power-saving mode; the transmission of the WUS; the network decoding the WUS with a probability of decoding failure; waiting for the next SIB1 transmission opportunity; and the UE decoding the SIB1 after acquiring it.

[0073] Unsuccessful paging processes may lead to re-paging attempts over a larger geographical area; for example, more nodes may transmit paging messages, resulting in higher energy consumption (i.e., paging escalation within the tracking area). Furthermore, paging loss can degrade the end-user experience. For instance, a lost paging call in a voice call can cause the caller to experience longer call setup times.

[0074] Therefore, an efficient technology is needed to enable UEs that need to reselect to a capacity cell in an energy-saving state (including cases where on-demand SIB1 is enabled in the capacity cell) to obtain the SIB1 of the capacity cell while minimizing paging message loss.

[0075] Some of the example embodiments described herein may have various benefits and / or advantages in overcoming the disadvantages described above. For example, some example embodiments may provide efficient techniques for obtaining the SIB1 of a capacity cell in an energy-saving state, including obtaining the SIB1 of the capacity cell while minimizing lost paging messages when on-demand SIB1 is enabled in the capacity cell.

[0076] As described in more detail below, some example embodiments involve a UE camping on an anchor cell and performing cell reselection measurements. Typically, various example embodiments may involve the capacity cell transmitting, or otherwise sharing, the capacity cell's WUS configuration and SIB1 transmission information with the anchor cell. In some example embodiments, this is achieved through an XnNGRAN configuration update procedure.

[0077] In some example embodiments, the UE obtains the WUS configuration and SIB1 transmission information of the capacity cell from the anchor cell. In some embodiments, SIB1 timing information defines the timing of on-demand SIB1 (SIB1 OD) transmissions of the capacity cell (e.g., the timing of SIB1OD transmission in response to receiving WUS on the capacity cell). In different embodiments, SIB1OD may have a different transmission period than periodically always-on SIB1 transmissions. Providing the UE with SIB1OD transmission timing enables efficient capacity cell measurement and SIB1 acquisition. In some embodiments, the timing of the SIB1OD transmission window may be defined based on the timing of WUS transmissions or SSB transmissions of the capacity cell. This optional information may further indicate to the UE whether the repetition of SIB1OD will occur within the configured SI window for transmitting SIB1OD. SIB1 transmission information may also define the expected scheduling delay between WUS transmissions and the first SIB1 transmission. The UE may consider the SIB1OD transmission information to determine whether a conflict will occur between paging monitoring on the anchor cell and the on-demand SIB1 process on the capacity cell.

[0078] In some example embodiments, the UE determines whether its paging timing on the anchor cell (or, optionally, paging timing on another cell in the case of MU-SIM) conflicts with the measured WUS transmission timing on the SIB1OD capacity cell. This determination may be based, for example, on ensuring that any WUS transmission on the SIB1OD cell ends at a predefined interval before (or begins at a predefined interval after) the UE's paging timing on the anchor cell. This predefined interval can be any suitable range, and in some embodiments, it is based on one or more predefined attributes and / or characteristics of the UE, the anchor cell, the capacity cell, and other network entities and infrastructure. For example, in some embodiments, the predefined interval is based on predefined handover parameters or capabilities of the UE. In some embodiments, the predefined interval is determined by the UE itself based on co-frequency / different-frequency relationships between cells, or is specified by 3GPP / configured by the network. In some embodiments, WUS transmissions may include repetition and transmission distributed across multiple time slots (e.g., due to Time Division Duplex (TDD)).

[0079] In some example embodiments, the UE may also obtain a threshold (WUS_Threshold) from the anchor cell, which determines when the UE should prioritize transmitting WUS for SIB1OD relative to paging and obtain SIB1OD. This threshold may be based on the measured RSRP / RSRQ of the serving cell (anchor cell).

[0080] In some example embodiments, even if the cell reselection criteria are met, the UE measures the SIB1OD capacity cell and returns to the serving cell. In this case, the UE may wait until it acquires the SIB1 of the capacity cell before reselecting to that cell. In some example embodiments, the UE continues to camp on the anchor cell and treats the capacity cell as temporarily blocked until it acquires the SIB1 of the capacity cell.

[0081] In some example embodiments, the UE may transmit WUS on the capacity cell based on certain conditions. For instance, in some embodiments, even if the UE paging timing conflicts with the WUS transmission timing of the capacity cell, the UE may still transmit WUS on the capacity cell if the RSRP or RSRQ of the anchor cell is below or not above a threshold (WUS_Threshold). In some embodiments, this threshold (WUS_Threshold) for the anchor cell may be configured by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

[0082] In some example implementations of UE support for advance paging indication (PEI), even if a conflict is determined and the RSRP / RSRQ of the anchor cell is not lower than the configured threshold, the UE can still transmit WUS on the capacity cell when the PEI does not provide the UE with notification of the upcoming paging timing or when the PEI does not specify a subgroup containing the UE.

[0083] In some example embodiments, when the UE transmits WUS to a capacity cell, the UE may then determine whether it should return (resynchronize) to the anchor cell. In some embodiments, this determination is based on the start of the next SIB1OD transmission window of the capacity cell and the next paging timing of the anchor cell to be monitored. In some embodiments, the UE monitors the capacity cell to acquire SIB1, and if SIB1 is acquired and the cell reselection criteria are met, the UE performs cell reselection. In some embodiments, the UE employs SIB1OD timing and repetition configuration to minimize capacity cell measurements performed for searching for SIB1 and to avoid / minimize conflicts between ODSIB1 acquisition and paging timing.

[0084] Although the procedures described herein involve the acquisition of SIB1OD, with necessary modifications, these procedures can also be used to acquire other SI messages and / or MIBs of the capacity cell.

[0085] Figures 2 to 4 Example signaling diagrams are shown depicting a UE acquiring capacity cell SIB1 when the capacity cell is in power-saving mode (or sleep mode, which are used interchangeably herein) and on-demand SIB1 is enabled. The signaling diagrams show portions of the complete signaling diagrams, illustrating the disclosed techniques when these signaling diagrams are considered holistically. Specifically, Figure 2 Partial signaling diagram 200 depicting the first part of the technology is shown, and Figure 4 Partial signaling diagram 400 depicting the final part of this technology is shown. [0090] At operation 207, UE220 can camp on anchor cell 230.

[0091] At operation 208, UE220 can measure capacity cell 240 and determine that capacity cell 240 has activated on-demand SIB1. UE220 can also determine that capacity cell 240 meets cell reselection criteria.

[0092] At operation 209, the UE can resynchronize to anchor cell 209.

[0093] Arrow 210 shows the complete timing diagram. Figures 3A to 3D Continue at one point.

[0094] As mentioned above, Figures 3A to 3D Partial signaling diagrams 310, 320, 330, and 340 are shown, depicting portions of the technology between partial signaling diagrams 200 and 400, wherein multiple alternative arrangements of partial signaling diagrams 310, 320, 330, and 340 are possible. Regardless of the particular alternative, arrows 311, 321, 331, and 341 indicate a continuation from a previous portion of the complete signaling diagram, and arrows 312, 322, 332, and 342 indicate a continuation from the next portion of the complete signaling diagram, as described below.

[0095] First go to Figure 3APartial signaling diagram 310 can continue from partial signaling diagram 200, as shown by arrow 311. At operation 313, UE 220 can determine, at least in part, the WUS timing of capacity cell 240 that does not conflict with any paging timing of anchor cell 230, based on the received WUS configuration of capacity cell 240. Arrow 312 shows that the complete timing diagram continues in the next part of the complete signaling diagram, which may be... Figure 4 The signaling diagram 400 is shown below. For ease of understanding, partial signaling diagram 400 will be described first, followed by a description of... Figures 3B to 3D The signaling diagrams shown are 320, 330, and 340.

[0096] Therefore, turn to Figure 4 As indicated by arrow 401, partial signaling diagram 400 continues from the preceding portion of the complete signaling diagram. In an alternative, following the immediately preceding segment, partial signaling diagram 400... Figure 3A The signaling diagram shown in Figure 310 continues.

[0097] At operation 402, UE220 may transmit WUS to capacity cell 240 at least in part based on the WUS configuration received by capacity cell 240.

[0098] At operation 403, capacity cell 240 can exit sleep mode.

[0099] At operation 404, capacity cell 240 can transmit its SIB1 to UE 220 according to the SIB1 transmission timing information, for example, by broadcasting SIB1.

[0100] At operation 405, UE220 may determine an instance of SIB1 transmission timing based at least in part on the received SIB1 timing information, which may be an SIB1 transmission window and does not conflict with any paging timing of anchor cell 230.

[0101] At operation 406, UE220 may acquire SIB1 of capacity cell 240, for example, during a previously determined SIB1 transmission window that does not conflict with any paging timing of anchor cell 230.

[0102] At operation 407, UE220 may perform a cell reselection process to reselect to capacity cell 240, at least in part, based on the received SIB1 of capacity cell 240.

[0103] As mentioned above, Figures 3A to 3DPartial signaling diagrams 310, 320, 330, and 340 are shown, depicting portions of the technology between partial signaling diagrams 200 and 400, wherein multiple alternative arrangements of partial signaling diagrams 310, 320, 330, and 340 are possible. A first such alternative has been described above. Further such alternatives will now be described.

[0104] Go to Figure 3B Partial signaling diagram 320 can continue from partial signaling diagram 200, as shown by arrow 321. At operation 323, UE 220 can determine, at least in part, that a conflict exists between the WUS timing of capacity cell 240 and the paging timing of anchor cell 230, based on the received WUS configuration of capacity cell 240. Arrow 322 shows that the complete timing diagram continues in the next part of the complete signaling diagram.

[0105] Go to Figure 3C Partial signaling diagram 330 continues from the preceding portion of the complete signaling diagram, as indicated by arrow 331. In one alternative, partial signaling diagram 330 continues from partial signaling diagram 200. In another alternative, partial signaling diagram 330 continues from partial signaling diagram 320.

[0106] At operation 333, UE220 can monitor the PEI timing on anchor cell 230.

[0107] At operation 334, UE220 may not detect a PEI during the WUS timing of capacity cell 240, or it may detect a PEI during the WUS timing of capacity cell 240 that does not indicate a subgroup containing UE220. Arrow 332 shows that the complete timing diagram continues in the next part of the complete signaling diagram, which may be as described above. Figure 4 The signaling diagram shown is part of diagram 400.

[0108] Go to Figure 3D Partial signaling diagram 340 continues from the preceding portion of the complete signaling diagram, as indicated by arrow 341. In one alternative, partial signaling diagram 330 continues from partial signaling diagram 200. In another alternative, partial signaling diagram 330 continues from partial signaling diagram 320. In yet another alternative, partial signaling diagram 330 continues from partial signaling diagram 330.

[0109] At operation 343, UE220 determines that the measured RSRP and / or RSRQ of anchor cell 230 are below a predetermined threshold. Arrow 342 indicates that the complete timing diagram continues at the next part of the complete signaling diagram, which may be as described above. Figure 4 The signaling diagram shown is part of diagram 400.

[0110] Figure 5Examples of flowcharts illustrating a method 500 that can be performed by a UE according to various example embodiments are shown, the UE being similar to Figure 13 The UE1320 shown is an instance thereof.

[0111] At step 501, according to various example embodiments, method 500 may include residing on an anchor cell, which may be similar to Figure 13 The NE1310 shown is an example of it.

[0112] At step 502, method 500 may further include receiving WUS configuration and SIB1 timing information of a capacity cell from an anchor cell, the capacity cell being similar to... Figure 13 The NE1310 shown is an example of it.

[0113] At step 503, method 500 may further include measuring capacity cells and determining that capacity cells meet cell reselection criteria.

[0114] At step 504, method 500 may further include resynchronizing to the anchor cell.

[0115] At step 505, method 500 may further include determining to transmit WUS to the capacity cell. Alternatives to this step will be described further below following the description of method 500.

[0116] At step 506, method 500 may further include resynchronizing to the capacity cell.

[0117] At step 507, method 500 may further include transmitting WUS to the capacity cell.

[0118] At step 508, method 500 may further include determining the SIB1 of the capacity cell. Alternatives to this step will be described further below following the description of method 500.

[0119] At step 509, method 500 may further include obtaining the SIB1 of the capacity cell.

[0120] At step 510, method 500 may further include determining reselection to a capacity cell.

[0121] Figures 6 to 9 A flowchart example is shown to represent a non-limiting alternative method for performing step 505 of method 500 (i.e., determining the transmission of WUS to the capacity cell).

[0122] therefore, Figure 6An alternative method 600 is shown for performing step 505 of method 500, which involves determining whether to transmit a WUS to a capacity cell. Method 600 begins at 601. At decision 602, the method determines whether the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell. At the branch 'Yes' 603, method 600 returns to method 500 at 604. At the branch 'No' 605, method 600 loops back to decision 602. In other words, in the alternative method 600, step 505 involves determining whether to transmit a WUS to a capacity cell when the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell, and waiting until that condition is met.

[0123] Figure 7 An alternative method 700 is shown for performing step 505 of method 500, which determines the transmission of WUS to the capacity cell. Method 700 begins at 701. At decision 702, the method determines whether the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell. At the branch 'Yes' 703, method 700 returns to method 500 at 704. At the branch 'No' 705, method 700 continues to step 706: monitoring the PEI timing on the anchor cell. At decision 707, method 700 determines that the PEI indicates that there is no paging timing of the anchor cell during the capacity cell WUS timing, or that there is no paging timing for a subgroup identifying the UE. At the branch 'Yes' 708, method 700 returns to method 500 at 704. At the branch 'No' 709, method 700 continues to decision 710: determining whether the measured RSRP / RSRQ on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold. At branch 'Yes' 711, method 700 returns to method 500 at 704. At branch 'No' 712, method 700 loops back to decision 702. In other words, in alternative method 700, step 505 involves determining to transmit WUS to the capacity cell when the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell, or when the PEI indicates that there is no paging timing of the anchor cell during the next WUS timing or indicates that there is no subgroup containing the UE during the paging timing, or when the RSRP / RSRQ measured on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold.

[0124] Figure 8An alternative method 800 is shown for performing step 505 of method 500, which determines the transmission of WUS to a capacity cell. Method 800 begins at 801. At step 802, method 800 monitors the PEI timing on the anchor cell. At decision 803, method 800 determines that the PEI indicates that there is no paging timing for the anchor cell during the capacity cell WUS timing, or that there is no paging timing for a subgroup identifying the UE. At branch 'Yes' 804, method 800 returns to method 500 at 805. At branch 'No' 806, method 800 continues to decision 807: determining whether the measured RSRP / RSRQ on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold. At branch 'Yes' 808, method 800 returns to method 500 at 805. At branch 'No' 809, method 800 loops back to decision 802. In other words, alternative method 800 is similar to alternative method 700, except that alternative method 800 omits steps such as decision 702, which first determines whether the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell.

[0125] Figure 9 An alternative method 900 is shown for performing step 505 of method 500, which determines the transmission of WUS to the capacity cell. Method 900 begins at 901. At decision 902, the method determines whether the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell. At the branch 'Yes' 903, method 900 returns to method 500 at 904. At the branch 'No' 905, method 900 continues to decision 906: determining whether the RSRP / RSRQ measured on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold. At the branch 'Yes' 907, method 900 returns to method 500 at 904. At the branch 'No' 908, method 900 loops back to decision 902. In other words, alternative method 900 is similar to alternative method 700, except that alternative method 900 omits steps 706 and 707 involving monitoring the PEI of the anchor cell.

[0126] Further alternatives to step 505 of method 500 are possible and anticipated. For example, in method 700, the order of the first decision 702, the second step 706 and decision 707, and the third decision 710 may be rearranged. For example, in some embodiments, decision 710 may be performed before decision 702, such that it is first determined whether the RSRP / RSRQ measured on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold, before determining whether the next WUS timing does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell, and / or before determining that the PEI indicates that there is no paging timing of the anchor cell during the capacity cell WUS timing or that there is no paging timing identifying the UE's subgroup.

[0127] As described above, step 508 of method 500 may include determining the SIB1 of the capacity cell. The method for performing this step is described below.

[0128] therefore, Figure 10 An alternative method 1000 is shown for step 508 of performing method 500, which involves determining the SIB1 of the capacity acquisition cell. Method 1000 begins at 1001. At decision 1002, method 1000 determines whether the RSRP / RSRQ measured on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold. At branch 'Yes' 1003, method 1000 returns to method 500 at 1004. At branch 'No' 1005, method 1000 continues to decision 1006, where the method determines whether the next SIB1 transmission window precedes any paging timing of the anchor cell and does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell. At branch 'Yes' 1007, method 1000 returns to method 500 at 1004. At branch 'No' 1008, the method continues to step 1009, which involves resynchronizing to the anchor cell. The method then continues to decision 1010: determining whether the next SIB1 transmission window does not conflict with any paging timing of the anchor cell. At branch 'Yes' 1011, the method continues to step 1012, resynchronizing to the capacity cell, and then returns to method 500 at 1004. At branch 'No' 1013, the method loops back to decision 1007. In some embodiments, decision 1002 and related branches 1003 and 1005 are omitted. In some embodiments, decisions 1002 and 1006 are reversed in order. In other words, refer to... Figure 5 If, after resynchronization to the capacity cell has been completed in step 506 and WUS has been transmitted to the capacity cell in step 507, method 1000 determines that the next SIB1 window is prior to any paging opportunity in the anchor cell and does not conflict with any paging opportunity in the anchor cell, then method 500 may proceed to step 509 to acquire the capacity cell SIB1 while maintaining synchronization with the capacity cell. In some embodiments, method 500 may proceed to step 509: if the RSRP / RSRQ measured on the anchor cell is below a predetermined threshold, acquire the capacity cell SIB1 while maintaining synchronization with the capacity cell, and in some embodiments, this may be done without first determining whether the next SIB1 window is prior to any paging opportunity in the anchor cell and does not conflict with any paging opportunity in the anchor cell. On the other hand, if the next SIB1 window that does not conflict with any anchor cell paging timing is after the next anchor cell paging timing, the method can first resynchronize to the anchor cell at step 1006, and then, once it is determined at decision 1007 that the next SIB1 transmission window does not conflict with any anchor cell paging timing, resynchronize back to the capacity cell at step 1009 so as to obtain the capacity cell SIB1 at step 509.

[0129] Figure 11 Examples of flowcharts illustrating a method 1100 that can be performed by an anchor cell according to various example embodiments are shown. The anchor cell may be similar to Figure 13 The NE1310 shown is or Figure 13 An example of NE1310 is shown.

[0130] At step 1101, according to various example embodiments, method 1100 may include receiving WUS configuration and SIB1 transmission timing information from a capacity cell, the SIB1 transmission timing information including SIB1 transmission window information, the capacity cell being similar to Figure 13 The NE1310 shown or Figure 13 The example shown is NE1310.

[0131] At step 1102, according to various example embodiments, method 1100 may further include transmitting to the UE the received WUS configuration and SIB1 transmission timing information of the capacity cell, which may be similar to Figure 13 The UE1320 shown is an example of it.

[0134] At step 1202, according to various example embodiments, method 1200 may further include transmitting the WUS configuration of the capacity cell and SIB1 transmission timing information to the anchor cell. The SIB1 transmission timing information may include SIB1 transmission window information, and the anchor cell may be similar to... Figure 13 The NE1310 shown is an example of it.

[0135] At step 1203, method 1200 may further include entering an energy-saving state, such as a sleep state.

[0152] To facilitate a better understanding of this disclosure, certain terms have been defined. Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which embodiments of the disclosed subject matter pertain. While many methods and materials similar to, modified, or equivalent to those described herein may be used in practice with respect to embodiments of this disclosure without excessive experimentation, preferred materials and methods are described herein.

[0153] All terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting in any way or scope. For example, as used in this specification and the appended claims, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” may include plural indicators unless the content expressly indicates otherwise.

[0154] While the disclosed subject matter may be embodied in many different forms, specific embodiments are described in detail herein. This disclosure is an example of the principles of the disclosed subject matter and is not intended to limit the disclosed subject matter to the specific embodiments shown. Furthermore, the disclosed subject matter covers any possible combination of some or all of the various embodiments mentioned herein. Additionally, the disclosed subject matter also specifically excludes any possible combination of any or some of the various embodiments mentioned herein.

[0155] The features, structures, or characteristics of the exemplary embodiments described throughout this specification can be combined in any suitable manner in one or more exemplary embodiments. For example, the use of phrases such as "various embodiments," "some embodiments," "some embodiments," or other similar language throughout this specification refers to the fact that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with an exemplary embodiment can be included in at least one exemplary embodiment. Therefore, the phrases "in various embodiments," "in some embodiments," "in some embodiments," or other similar language appearing throughout this specification do not necessarily refer to the same set of exemplary embodiments, and the described features, structures, or characteristics can be combined in any suitable manner in one or more exemplary embodiments.

[0156] This document uses the auxiliary verb "may" to describe some embodiments of the disclosed subject matter. When used herein, unless the context requires otherwise, the auxiliary verb "may" indicates an embodiment of the disclosed subject matter having the object involved, without necessarily requiring any other embodiment of the disclosed subject matter to have the object involved. Thus, a statement such as "X may include Y" indicates that the disclosed subject matter includes embodiments in which X includes Y, without requiring all disclosed embodiments to include Y, and without excluding any other embodiments that do not include Y.

[0157] The ranges of numbers listed in the specification include the numbers that define the range and include every integer within the defined range. Throughout this disclosure, various aspects of the embodiments are presented in a range format. It should be understood that the range format description is merely for convenience and brevity and should not be construed as an inflexible limitation on the range of the embodiments. Therefore, the description of a range should be considered as having specifically disclosed all possible subranges, fractions, and individual numerical values within that range. For example, a description of a range such as 1 to 6 should be considered as having specifically disclosed subranges such as 1 to 3, 1 to 4, 1 to 5, 2 to 4, 2 to 6, 3 to 6, etc., and individual numbers within that range, such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, as well as decimals and fractions, such as 1.2, 3.8, 1½, and 4¾. This applies regardless of the width of the range.

[0158] As used herein, the terms “about” or “approximately” refer to, for example, a change in a value relative to any quantifiable variable (including, but not limited to, mass, volume, time, distance, voltage, and current) that may occur through typical measurement techniques and equipment. The terms “about” and “approximately” also encompass these changes. An expression combining the term “about” or “approximately” with one or more boundaries of a range refers to the union of the boundaries modified by the term “about” or “approximately” as described above with the range having unmodified boundaries. Thus, for example, the expression “at least about X” means the union of “at least X” and “about X”. Similarly, “at most about Y” means the union of “at most Y” and “about Y”.

[0159] As used herein, “at least one of the following: ” and “at least one of ” and similar wording, wherein the list of two or more elements is connected by “and” or “or”, indicates at least any one element, at least any two or more elements, or at least all elements.

[0160] The phrase “and / or” as used herein in the specification and claims should be understood to mean any one or both of the elements so combined, that is, elements that exist in combination in some cases and separately in others. Multiple elements listed with “and / or” should be interpreted in the same way, i.e., “one or more” elements so combined. In addition to the elements specifically identified by the “and / or” clause, other elements may optionally exist, whether related to or unrelated to those specifically identified.
