Use of a isoflavonoid in the preparation of a medicament for treating esophageal squamous cell carcinoma or pancreatic cancer

Abstract

The application belongs to the field of medicine, and particularly relates to a use of isobavachin flavonoid in preparation of a medicine for treating digestive tract tumors. The application proves that isobavachin chalcone (IBC) is an active inhibitor of ADORA3, can directly combine with ADORA3, and significantly inhibit the proliferation and invasion ability of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells. The xenotransplantation model experiment of nude mice proves that IBC can effectively inhibit the malignant progression of a pancreatic cancer cell strain PANC-1 and an esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cell strain KYSE510. The application explicitly defines that ADORA3 is a potential target for tumor treatment, and proves that IBC is the first natural product capable of inhibiting the signal path mediated by ADORA3 and the malignant phenotype of tumors.
