Abstract

The application discloses an ultra-limit text display method and device, equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of front-end text display. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining original text data and display configuration parameters; performing truncation processing on the original text data according to the display configuration parameters to obtain abbreviated text data; rendering and displaying the abbreviated text data in a page display area, and storing the original text data in association with the page display area as an operation data source; when a preset hovering operation on the page display area is detected, generating preview pop-up window data according to the operation data source and outputting the preview pop-up window data to a display unit, so that the display unit renders a preview pop-up window; and when a preset copy triggering operation on the page display area is detected, executing a text copy instruction according to the operation data source, rendering and displaying the abbreviated text in the page display area, and storing the original text data in association with the operation data source, so that the hovering preview and complete copy of the ultra-limit text are realized without destroying the page layout.
