Lithium ion battery

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a lithium ion battery. Specifically, the lithium ion battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte, the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material, the positive electrode active material comprises lithium iron phosphate; the electrolyte comprises a first additive; wherein the first additive is a compound as shown in the following formula (I): formula (I); in formula (I), R is independently selected from any one of the following groups: hydrogen, halogen, cyano, silyl, substituted or unsubstituted amino, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C2-C6 alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted C2-C6 alkynyl, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 ester-containing group, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 carbonyl-containing group, substituted or unsubstituted 3-8 membered heterocyclic group; when substituted, the substituent is selected from at least one of halogen, amino, cyano or silyl. The first additive is used to improve the iron ion dissolution in the electrode sheet, and further improve the cycle performance of the battery.
