[0120] Please refer to Figures 1 to 2 . Figure 1 This is a perspective view of a portable electronic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and Figure 2 This is a perspective view of a portable electronic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The portable electronic device 10 includes a housing 11, and a speaker module 100 and a speaker module 100A may be disposed inside the housing 11, respectively located on both sides of the housing 11 and having the same or similar configuration. Therefore, in the following paragraphs, only the speaker module 100 will be described.
[0121] like Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown, the housing 11 has an upper cover 12 and a bottom cover 13. The bottom cover 13 is fixedly connected to the upper cover 12 and has two first sound openings 14 and two second sound openings 15. The speaker module 100 is disposed between the upper cover 12 and the bottom cover 13, and the sound emitted by the speaker module 100 is output to the user through the corresponding first sound openings 14 and second sound openings 15.
[0122] Please refer to the following: Figures 3 to 7 , Figure 3 This is a perspective view of a speaker module 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 4 This is a perspective view of a speaker module 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure from another perspective. Figure 5 For a portable electronic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure along Figure 1 A three-dimensional cross-sectional view of the midline segment AA. Figure 6 For a portable electronic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure along Figure 1 A cross-sectional view of the midline segment BB, and Figure 7This is a perspective magnified view of a speaker module 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure from another angle.
[0123] The speaker module 100 may include a housing 102, a first speaker assembly 110, a second speaker assembly 120, and a third speaker assembly 150. The first speaker assembly 110 is disposed on the housing 102 and configured to emit a first sound. Similarly, the second speaker assembly 120 is disposed on the housing 102, corresponding to the first sound opening 14, and configured to emit a second sound, which is output to the user through the first sound opening 14.
[0124] Furthermore, a third speaker assembly 150 is disposed on the housing 102, corresponding to the second sound opening 15 and configured to emit a third sound, which is output to the user through the second sound opening 15. The first and second sounds are low-frequency sounds with frequencies, for example, 300Hz to 1000Hz, while the third sound is a high-frequency sound with frequencies, for example, above 1000Hz, but not limited thereto.
[0125] like Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 are arranged along a first axis AX1 (Z-axis), and the first speaker assembly 110 is symmetrical to the second speaker assembly 120. Specifically, the speaker module 100 also includes a central base 103, and the first speaker assembly 110 is symmetrical to the second speaker assembly 120 with respect to the central base 103.
[0126] Therefore, the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 have the same configuration. Specifically, as Figure 6 As shown, the first speaker assembly 110 has a first diaphragm 116, a first magnet MG1, and a first coil CL1, and the second speaker assembly 120 has a second diaphragm 126, a second magnet MG2, and a second coil CL2.
[0127] When the first coil CL1 and the second coil CL2 receive current, the first coil CL1 and the first magnet MG1 generate a driving force to move the first diaphragm 116, and the second coil CL2 and the second magnet MG2 generate another driving force to move the second diaphragm 126. The first diaphragm 116 and the second diaphragm 126 move in opposite directions but with the same amplitude.
[0128] Based on this design, when the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 emit sound simultaneously, the vibrations generated by the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 can cancel each other out, and no abnormal noise will be generated. For detailed configurations of the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120, please refer to Taiwan Patent Publication No. TWI763515B, which will not be elaborated upon here.
[0129] Similar to the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120, the third speaker assembly 150 also has a similar structure. For example, the third speaker assembly 150 also has a third diaphragm 156, configured to emit the aforementioned third sound. The remaining structures will not be described in detail.
[0130] Furthermore, such as Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the housing 102 may have a first sound outlet 1023, a second sound outlet 1024, and a third sound outlet 1025, corresponding to the first speaker assembly 110, the second speaker assembly 120, and the third speaker assembly 150, respectively. When viewed along the first axial direction AX1, the first sound outlet 1023, the second sound outlet 1024, and the third sound outlet 1025 have a rectangular structure.
[0131] It should also be noted that in this embodiment, the top cover 12 does not have any openings for the first speaker assembly 110; therefore, the first sound emitted by the first speaker assembly 110 is output through the first sound opening 14. However, this configuration may prevent the first sound from being quickly discharged from the housing 11, potentially causing unnecessary vibrations in the top cover 12.
[0132] To ensure that this vibration can be eliminated, the speaker module 100 may also include a guiding component 200 configured to guide a portion of the first sound to the output of the second sound opening 15, while the other portion of the first sound is still output from the first sound opening 14. Based on this configuration, the problem of unnecessary vibration of the top cover 12 can be avoided.
[0133] The specific structural configuration of the guidance component 200 will be described next. For example... Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the guide assembly 200 is disposed on the housing 102, and the guide assembly 200 has a first guide element 202 and a second guide element 204, which correspond to the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120, respectively.
[0134] like Figure 3 As shown, when viewed along the first axis AX1, the first guide element 202 is configured to surround both sides of the first sound outlet 1023, and as... Figure 4As shown, when viewed along the first axis AX1, the second guide element 204 is configured to surround three sides of the second sound outlet 1024.
[0135] Specifically, the housing 102 has a first sub-housing 1021 and a second sub-housing 1022. The second sub-housing 1022 is configured to be fixedly connected to the first sub-housing 1021. The first guiding element 202 has a first guiding portion 2021 and a second guiding portion 2022, which are disposed on the first sub-housing 1021 and configured to form a first channel TB1 with the first sub-housing 1021 to guide a portion of the first sound. That is, the first guiding element 202 and the first sub-housing 1021 together form the first channel TB1.
[0136] like Figure 3 As shown, the first guide portion 2021 may have a first segment 2023 and a second segment 2024, and the second guide portion 2022 may have a third segment 2025 and a fourth segment 2026. The first segment 2023 and the third segment 2025 extend along a second axis AX2, and the fourth segment 2026 extends along a third axis AX3. The second segment 2024 is not parallel to the second axis AX2 and the third axis AX3. The first axis AX1, the second axis AX2, and the third axis AX3 are perpendicular to each other.
[0137] Furthermore, such as Figure 4 As shown, the second guide element 204 is disposed on the second sub-housing 1022 and configured to form a second channel TB2, which is connected to the first channel TB1. The second guide element 204 may have a third guide portion 2041, and when viewed along the first axis AX1, the third guide portion 2041 has a U-shaped structure to surround three sides of the second sound outlet 1024.
[0138] Furthermore, such as Figure 4 As shown, the second guiding element 204 may further include a first side segment 2042 and a second side segment 2043 extending along the first axial direction AX1, and the third guiding portion 2041 is connected to the first segment 2023 and the third segment 2025 through the first side segment 2042 and the second side segment 2043. That is, the second channel TB2 can be defined by the first side segment 2042, the second side segment 2043 and the third guiding portion 2041.
[0139] Similarly, the guiding assembly 200 may also include a third guiding element 206, corresponding to the third speaker assembly 150 and configured to form a third channel TB3, which is connected to the first channel TB1. The third guiding element 206 may have a fourth guiding portion 2061, and when viewed along the first axis AX1, the fourth guiding portion 2061 has a U-shaped structure to surround three sides of the third sound outlet 1025.
[0140] Similarly, the third guiding element 206 may also have a third side segment 2062 and a fourth side segment 2063 extending along the first axis AX1, and the fourth guiding segment 2061 is connected to the fourth segment 2026 and the second segment 2024 through the third side segment 2062 and the fourth side segment 2063. That is, the third channel TB3 can be defined by the third side segment 2062, the fourth side segment 2063 and the fourth guiding segment 2061.
[0141] Based on the above structural configuration, such as Figure 5 and Figure 7 As shown, when the first speaker assembly 110 emits a first sound, a portion of the first sound is emitted from the first sound outlet 1023. Figure 5 The sound moves from center to left, passing through the first channel TB1 and the third channel TB3, before being output to the user through the aforementioned second sound opening 15. Meanwhile, another portion of the first sound is emitted from the first sound outlet 1023. Figure 5 The sound moves from the center to the right, passes through the second channel TB2, and is then output to the user through the first sound opening 14.
[0142] Therefore, the energy generated by the first sound will not cause unnecessary vibrations in the top cover 12. It is worth noting that since part of the first and third sounds are output simultaneously from the second sound opening 15, the user can hear a wider sound field and obtain a better sound experience.
[0143] Additionally, in some embodiments, such as Figure 3 As shown, the guide assembly 200 may further include a fourth guide element 208 configured to be connected to the first guide element 202, and the fourth guide element 208 is configured to cover the first channel TB1 and the first speaker assembly 110.
[0144] The shape of the fourth guiding element 208 corresponds to the shape of the first guiding element 202. Based on the configuration of the fourth guiding element 208, the airtightness of the first channel TB1 can be increased to enhance the guiding effect.
[0145] It is worth noting that the first guide element 202, the second guide element 204, the third guide element 206, and the fourth guide element 208 are detachably mounted on the housing 102 and may be made of sponge or rubber material, but are not limited thereto. Among them, the first guide element 202, the second guide element 204, and the third guide element 206 may be integrally formed.
[0146] In some embodiments, the fourth guide element 208 may also be made of plastic and may be integrally formed with the top cover 12. Similarly, the first guide element 202, the second guide element 204, and the third guide element 206 may also be made of plastic and the housing 102, the first guide element 202, the second guide element 204, and the third guide element 206 may also be integrally formed.
[0147] In other embodiments, the first guiding element 202 and the upper cover 12 can also be integrally formed. Based on the above design, the number of manufacturing steps can be reduced, and the problem of errors caused by manual installation affecting the sound guidance effect can be avoided.
[0148] Please refer to Figure 8 . Figure 8 This is a perspective view of a speaker module 100 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Similar to the foregoing embodiment, the first guide portion 2021 of this embodiment may have a first segment 2023 and a second segment 2024, the second guide portion 2022 may have a third segment 2025 and a fourth segment 2026, and the first segment 2023 and the third segment 2025 extend along a second axis AX2.
[0149] Unlike the previous embodiments, in this embodiment, both the fourth segment 2026 and the second segment 2024 extend along the third axis AX3. Based on this configuration, the first channel TB1 can have a larger channel width to increase the guiding effect, thereby achieving better sound output.
[0150] Please refer to the following: Figure 9 . Figure 9 This is a perspective view of a portion of the structure of a speaker module 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 9 As shown, in this embodiment, the speaker module 100 may further have a partition wall 104 configured to divide the housing 102 into a first acoustic cavity CB1 and a second acoustic cavity CB2, the first acoustic cavity CB1 corresponding to the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120, and the second acoustic cavity CB2 corresponding to the third speaker assembly 150.
[0151] The partition wall 104 may have at least one first opening 1041, and the speaker module 100 also has a first one-way ventilation element 106 disposed on the partition wall 104 and covering the first opening 1041. Specifically, in this embodiment, two first openings 1041 are formed on a first wall 1040 of the partition wall 104, and the first one-way ventilation element 106 covers these two first openings 1041.
[0152] The first one-way breathable element 106 can act as a one-way breathable valve, allowing an airflow to pass from the first sound cavity CB1 through the first one-way breathable element 106 into the second sound cavity CB2, and the first one-way breathable element 106 will block another airflow from passing from the second sound cavity CB2 through the first one-way breathable element 106 into the first sound cavity CB1.
[0153] Based on this configuration, the volume of the chambers provided to the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 can be increased. For example, the volume of the first acoustic chamber CB1 is, for example, 6CC, and the volume of the second acoustic chamber CB2 is, for example, 2CC. Therefore, the total volume provided to the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 can reach 8CC, but the volume provided to the third speaker assembly 150 will not increase.
[0154] Therefore, this configuration enhances the overall bass output without affecting the treble output of the third speaker assembly 150. Furthermore, this design effectively utilizes space, allowing the speaker module 100 to achieve a smaller overall size.
[0155] In addition, the total area of the two first openings 1041 is 40% to 50% of the total area of the first wall 1040 that separates the inner wall 104. Based on this configuration, it can be ensured that the first one-way ventilation element 106 will not detach from the first wall 1040 due to excessive airflow from the first acoustic cavity CB1.
[0156] Furthermore, it should be noted that, for clarity, the second sub-shell 1022 is not shown therein. However, in reality, when the first sub-shell 1021 is combined with the second sub-shell 1022, and without the first opening 1041, the first acoustic cavity CB1 and the second acoustic cavity CB2 are separated by the partition wall 104 and do not communicate with each other.
[0157] In addition, the partition wall 104 may also have a second wall 1043, and a second opening 1045 is formed on the second wall 1043. The speaker module 100 may also have a second one-way ventilation element 108, which is disposed on the second wall 1043 and covers the second opening 1045.
[0158] It should be noted that the area of the second opening 1045 on the second wall 1043 is also 40% to 50% of the total area of the second wall 1043. In addition, in other embodiments, the second opening 1045 and the second one-way ventilation element 108 may be omitted.
[0159] Please refer to the following: Figure 10 . Figure 10 This diagram illustrates the relationship between abnormal sounds and frequencies in a loudspeaker module 100 according to an embodiment of this disclosure and a known loudspeaker without the guiding component 200. Figure 9 In the diagram, curve CV01 represents the noise analysis curve of a known loudspeaker module at different frequencies, and curve CV11 represents the noise analysis curve of loudspeaker module 100 at different frequencies.
[0160] like Figure 10 As shown, when the frequency is approximately 1000Hz, the data of curve CV01 will reach 1 (100%), that is, at this frequency, the user will clearly hear the abnormal sound produced by the portable electronic device 10.
[0161] As for curve CV11, at a frequency of approximately 1000Hz, the abnormal vibration noise value of curve CV11 is about 0.1, which is a significant decrease compared to curve CV01. Therefore, users will not hear any abnormal noise. In the abnormal noise analysis, users will not hear any abnormal noise when the value is below 1, and at frequencies below 300Hz, sounds with a value of 1 are also inaudible to the human ear, thus not affecting the user experience.
[0162] Please refer to the following: Figure 11 as well as Figure 12 . Figure 11 The energy analysis curve of a known loudspeaker module is shown, and Figure 12 This is an energy analysis graph of a loudspeaker module 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 11 and Figure 12 In the diagram, curve CV02 represents the energy analysis curve of a known loudspeaker module relative to time, and curve CV12 represents the energy analysis curve of loudspeaker module 100 relative to time.
[0163] When the time is 0, the known speaker module and speaker module 100 will receive a test signal (e.g., a square wave signal or a pulse signal). Figure 11 As shown, after receiving the signal, for example, between 300 milliseconds and 600 milliseconds (in Figure 11 (Within the red box in the image), the curve CV02 still shows obvious up-and-down oscillations.
[0164] In contrast, such as Figure 12 As shown, between 300 milliseconds and 600 milliseconds after receiving the signal (in Figure 12 (Within the blue box in the image), curve CV12 has noticeably slowed down, without significant up-and-down oscillations. In other words, the speaker module 100 with the guide component 200 can effectively dissipate the energy generated by the audio signal quickly, thus preventing abnormal noise.
[0165] Please refer to the following: Figure 13 , Figure 13 This diagram illustrates the sound field analysis of a loudspeaker module 100 according to an embodiment of this disclosure and a known loudspeaker module. Figure 13 In the diagram, line CV03 represents the sound field analysis diagram of a known loudspeaker module, and line CV13 represents the sound field analysis diagram of loudspeaker module 100.
[0166] The portable electronic device 10 is placed at coordinate 0. For example... Figure 13 As shown, the maximum sound field angle AG2 of the broken line CV13 relative to coordinate 0 is greater than the maximum sound field angle AG1 of the broken line CV03 relative to coordinate 0. In other words, after adding the guiding component 200, the sound field emitted by the speaker module 100 can be wider, achieving a better user experience.
[0167] Please refer to the following: Figure 14 , Figure 14 This diagram illustrates the frequency-sound pressure level relationship between a loudspeaker module 100 according to an embodiment of this disclosure and two known loudspeaker modules. Figure 14 In the diagram, curves CV04 and CV05 represent the sound pressure level curves of two known loudspeaker modules at different frequencies, and curve CV14 represents the sound pressure level curve of the loudspeaker module 100 of this disclosure at different frequencies.
[0168] like Figure 14 As shown, at frequencies above 300Hz, the maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of curve CV14 is 89.4dB, the maximum SPL of curve CV04 is 82.9dB, and the maximum SPL of curve CV05 is 75dB. This means that the maximum SPL of the speaker module 100 disclosed herein is significantly improved, thus resulting in better sound output.
[0169] In summary, this disclosure provides a speaker module 100 disposed in a portable electronic device 10. The speaker module 100 includes a first speaker assembly 110, a second speaker assembly 120, and a third speaker assembly 150. The housing 11 of the portable electronic device 10 has a first sound opening 14 and a second sound opening 15. The first speaker assembly 110 faces the top cover 12 of the housing 11, the second speaker assembly 120 faces the first sound opening 14, and the third speaker assembly 150 faces the second sound opening 15.
[0170] In this disclosure, the top cover 12 does not have any openings for the first speaker assembly 110. Therefore, the speaker module 100 may also include a guiding component 200 configured to guide a portion of the first sound emitted by the first speaker assembly 110 to the second sound opening 15 for output, while the other portion of the first sound is still output through the first sound opening 14. Based on this configuration, the problem of unnecessary vibration of the top cover 12 can be avoided.
[0171] Additionally, the speaker module 100 may also have a partition wall 104 configured to divide the housing 102 into a first acoustic cavity CB1 and a second acoustic cavity CB2. The partition wall 104 may have at least one first opening 1041, and the speaker module 100 also has a first one-way vent element 106 disposed on the partition wall 104 and covering the first opening 1041. Based on this configuration, the volume of the chambers provided to the first speaker assembly 110 and the second speaker assembly 120 can be increased, thereby improving the overall bass output performance.
