Abstract

According to the elevator braking device and the elevator, a first opening and a mounting cavity are formed in a mounting seat, and the first opening communicates with the mounting cavity; the brake wheel is rotatably arranged in the mounting cavity; the first clamping arm is provided with a first end and a second end which are opposite to each other, the first end is rotatably arranged on the mounting base, the first assembling base is arranged on the mounting base, one end of the first assembling bolt sequentially penetrates through the first blocking piece, the first elastic piece, the second end and the first assembling base, the first elastic piece is pressed between the first blocking piece and the second end in an abutting mode, and the first clamping tile is arranged on the first clamping arm; the first clamping tile is used for penetrating through the first opening and abutting against the brake wheel. The strain monitoring mechanism comprises a first monitoring piece, and the first monitoring piece is arranged on the first assembly bolt and used for monitoring the deformation quantity of the first assembly bolt. Compared with the prior art, the elevator braking device has the advantages that workers do not need to regularly detect the elevator braking device, the labor cost is reduced, and the detection efficiency is improved.
