The battery cell comprises a positive plate containing a first functional current collector, a negative plate containing a second functional current collector, an isolating membrane and a tab, the tabs comprise a positive tab and a negative tab, the positive tab is arranged at one end of the positive plate, and the negative tab is arranged at one end of the negative plate; the positive plate, the isolating membrane and the negative plate are stacked in sequence; in the formed stacked structure, positive tabs of the positive plates are all positioned at one side end of the stacked structure to form a positive tab structure end, and negative tabs of the negative plates are all positioned at the other side end of the stacked structure to form a negative tab structure end; a first metal sheet is wound on each layer of positive tab at the positive tab structure end, and a second metal sheet is wound on each layer of negative tab at the negative tab structure end; all layers of positive tabs at the positive tab structure end are welded with all the first metal sheets into a whole, and all layers of negative tabs at the negative tab structure end are welded with all the second metal sheets into a whole. The battery cell is more stable in structure, better in quality, high in welding efficiency and easy to produce on a large scale.
