Artificial iris septum

Abstract

The utility model relates to the technical field of medical instruments for ophthalmology, in particular to an artificial iris septum which is used for being fixed to a sclera plate layer to prevent silicone oil in a vitreous cavity from entering an anterior chamber. The artificial iris diaphragm comprises a diaphragm body and a plurality of loops. A middle through hole is formed in the middle of the diaphragm body for communicating the vitreous cavity with the anterior chamber; the loops are arranged on the diaphragm body at intervals in the circumferential direction of the diaphragm body and used for being connected with the sclera plate layer. An aqueous humor through hole is further formed in the diaphragm body, and aqueous humor located on one side of the glass body enters the anterior chamber through the aqueous humor through hole. The artificial iris septum provided by the embodiment of the utility model can prevent silicone oil from entering the anterior chamber from the vitreous cavity, prevent cornea damage and other complications caused by contact of the silicone oil with cornea endothelium, and prevent pupil block caused by the silicone oil after the vitreous cavity is filled with the silicone oil through the aqueous humor through hole.
