The battery box comprises a box body, a battery pack, an insulating part and a buffer part, the box body comprises at least one accommodating space, and one battery pack is arranged in one accommodating space; a cover plate is arranged on one side, deviating from the bottom plate of the accommodating space, of each battery pack, and the cover plate is provided with an exposed area; the insulating part comprises a first insulating plate and a second insulating plate which are connected with each other, the first insulating plate is located between the side wall of the accommodating space and the battery pack, the second insulating plate is fixedly connected with the cover plate, and the vertical projection of the second insulating plate on the cover plate is at least partially overlapped with the exposed area; the battery pack comprises a first side surface and a second side surface which are mutually connected, and the first side surface is an expansion surface; the buffer member is arranged between the insulating member and the first side surface. According to the battery box provided by the embodiment of the invention, the condition of insulation failure of the insulating part caused by stripping displacement of the insulating part and the battery pack due to expansion of the battery pack can be reduced.
