Abstract

This utility model discloses an electrostatic precipitator with a side-mounted rapping structure, comprising a housing with an air inlet at one end and an air outlet at the other end; several vertically arranged electrode plates inside the housing; several sets of corona wires arranged between two electrode plates; and rapping components arranged on the sides of the electrode plates. This utility model achieves efficient dust removal through pneumatic impact and multi-stage chamber linkage. During operation, dust-laden gas enters the housing through the air inlet. After being ionized by the corona wires, the dust is adsorbed onto the surface of the vertical electrode plates under the action of the electric field. As the operating time increases, the dust accumulation on the electrode plate surface gradually thickens. The spheres, driven by the airflow, generate high-frequency random collisions, transferring kinetic energy to the side plates and electrode plates, forming an upward vibration wave. This vibration wave covers the entire height of the electrode plates, destroying the dust adhesion, causing the accumulated dust to peel off and fall into the ash hopper, achieving dynamic dust removal.
