Power pack and rear wheel steering device

Abstract

This invention provides a power unit and a rear-wheel steering device. The power unit includes: a motor shaft configured to rotate; a main gear configured to rotate coaxially with the motor shaft; a main gear magnet fixed to the main gear; a secondary gear configured to rotate together with the main gear; a secondary gear magnet fixed to the secondary gear; a main gear rotation detection sensor configured to detect the rotation of the main gear by means of changes in the magnetic field of the main gear magnet; and a secondary gear rotation detection sensor configured to detect the rotation of the secondary gear by means of changes in the magnetic field of the secondary gear magnet. According to this disclosure, a device for measuring the steering angle of the rear wheels is integrated into the power unit. This invention eliminates the need for a sensor for measuring the displacement of the lead screw and the cable connecting the sensor and the power unit, thereby facilitating the miniaturization of the rear-wheel steering device and reducing its manufacturing cost.
