Abstract

This disclosure relates to a powertrain for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the UAV itself. The powertrain includes a base, a motor, and a shell. The base connects to the arms and has a motor mounting bracket. The motor, mounted on the mounting bracket, drives the propeller blades. The shell surrounds the base, forming a wiring space with the base and motor. The side of the motor facing away from the base has a top cover with mounting holes for a connector to pass through the motor's interior from the side of the top cover and connect the motor to the mounting bracket. The technical solution provided by this disclosure can optimize the powertrain design, such as optimizing the motor wiring space, improving space utilization, providing a foundation for further integrated design, and facilitating waterproofing and dustproofing.
