A suspension bridge steel truss beam with staggered upper and lower suspension points

Abstract

This utility model discloses a steel truss girder for a suspension bridge with staggered upper and lower suspension points. The girder includes a steel truss girder, with a gravity anchor fixedly installed at one end and a slewing end anchor fixedly installed on one side of the main tower. The main cable is installed above the slewing end anchor and the gravity anchor at both ends, respectively. The steel truss girder includes an upper deck system and a lower crossbeam. Several suspension cables are installed on the upper deck system near the slewing end anchor, connecting the upper deck system to the main cable. Several suspension cables are also installed on the lower crossbeam near the gravity anchor, connecting the lower crossbeam to the main cable, thus meeting the strength requirements of a slewing cable suspension bridge.
