A safety protection device for a laboratory rod mill

Abstract

This invention provides a safety protection device for a laboratory rod mill, including a rod mill body. The rod mill body has a storage opening on its front side, and a first protective door and a second protective door are provided at the storage opening. A first electromagnetic lock head is provided at one end and another end of the storage opening along its length. A first latch plate is provided on the first protective door, and a second latch plate is provided on the second protective door. A controller is connected to the rod mill body, and the controller is connected to both the first and second electromagnetic lock heads. This invention provides an electromagnetic lock head and a proximity switch at the storage opening of the rod mill. When the protective door is in the closed position, the proximity switch detects this and controls the rod mill to start while the electromagnetic lock head simultaneously closes, effectively preventing the protective door from being accidentally opened during operation.
