Monorail track beam supported tension-compression support

Abstract

This application discloses a tension-compression bearing for monorail track beams, comprising a base plate fixed to the top of the pier cap beam and an upper swing assembly fixed to the bottom of the track beam. The base plate is connected to the upper swing assembly via a support member on its surface. The support member is a spherical bearing structure. The upper swing assembly provides vertical support and multi-directional displacement compensation for the track beam through the support member. Anchor boxes fixed in the pier cap beam are provided on both sides of the base plate. Anchor bolt assemblies are provided in the anchor boxes, passing through the upper swing assembly and pressing the upper swing assembly against the support member through a pressure plate assembly at the top. This tension-compression bearing is used to connect the track beam and pier cap beam in a straddle-type monorail system. Its main function is to meet the multi-directional displacement compensation of the track beam under temperature changes, vehicle loads, and seismic action. It also has reliable tension and compressive bearing capacity, enabling vehicles to pass smoothly over the track beam, and features convenient maintenance and overall safety and reliability.
