A quick-fit door lock

Abstract

This utility model discloses a quick-install door lock, including a door lock base, a reset torsion spring, and a mounting base. The door lock base has a rotating hole in the middle; the mounting base has a mounting hole and a mounting groove for installing the reset torsion spring; the inner sidewall of the rotating hole has an inwardly protruding annular flange, and the upper end of the outer sidewall of the mounting hole has several hooks spaced apart, which are placed on the annular flange. During assembly, the mounting base with the reset torsion spring installed is inserted from below the rotating hole, so that the hooks are placed on the annular flange, and at the same time, the two ends of the reset torsion spring protruding from the mounting groove abut against the door lock base. This allows for quick assembly of the door lock. Compared with existing door locks that are installed using metal plates and retaining rings, the installation operation is simpler and the manufacturing cost of the door lock is reduced. In use, rotating the door handle causes the mounting base, which rotates with the door handle, to deform the reset torsion spring; releasing the door handle causes the reset torsion spring to drive the door handle to rotate in the opposite direction through the mounting base, thus achieving automatic reset of the door handle.
