A walking mechanism with an emergency drive

Abstract

This utility model relates to a traveling mechanism with an emergency drive device, including a frame, wheel set, drive motor, reducer, brake, emergency motor, sprockets, and roller chain, and also includes a switching device for switching between main drive and emergency drive. The wheel set is mounted on the bottom of the frame via an axle; the output shaft of the drive motor is connected to the input shaft of the reducer via a coupling, and the output shaft of the reducer is connected to the shaft of the wheel set via another coupling; the brake is disposed on the transmission path between the reducer and the wheel set; the emergency motor is mounted on the frame and close to the wheel set, and sprockets are fixedly mounted on its output shaft and coupling, with the two sprockets connected by a roller chain; the switching device includes a clutch and a control circuit. This invention solves the problem that while some emergency drive methods exist, most are complex in structure, expensive, and have poor compatibility with existing crane traveling mechanisms, making widespread application difficult.
