A precision helical gear surface quenching inductor

Abstract

This utility model relates to the field of induction hardening technology, specifically to an inductor for surface hardening of precision helical gears, comprising a contact plate, a first insulating plate, a main water box, an auxiliary water box, and a steel plate. The contact plate has an effective ring, the head end of which is equipped with a magnetic conductor extending between the helical teeth. The magnetic conductor does not contact the surface of the helical gear. The contact plate is equipped with a cooling water pipe passing through the effective ring and the magnetic conductor. The main water box is operably connected to the effective ring via the first insulating plate. The main water box extends between the helical teeth. Two auxiliary water boxes are respectively located on both sides of the effective ring, with one end of each auxiliary water box not contacting the outer circumferential surface of the helical gear. The inductor's three-dimensional shape precisely matches the helix angle, ensuring a constant gap on both sides of the tooth groove and eliminating the unilateral overheating / underheating problem caused by spur gear inductors.
