Abstract

A drum is mounted on the drive shaft, and the drum consists of several separating blocks arranged around the drive shaft. In use, the drive device first drives each separating block to move synchronously outward along the radial direction of the drive shaft via a transmission device, creating an axial gap between each separating block. Then, the beginning end of the copper foil is easily inserted into the gap between any two separating blocks. The drive device then stops, and a reset device drives each separating block to move synchronously inward along the radial direction, so that each separating block contacts the outer surface of the drive shaft, and the two separating blocks are in close contact with each other. This clamps the beginning end of the copper foil between corresponding separating blocks, thus fixing the beginning end of the copper foil onto the drum. The operation is simple and production efficiency is improved.
