Abstract

This utility model discloses a hardness testing device in the production process of high borosilicate glass, relating to the field of glass hardness testing technology. It includes a base with a groove, a placement plate within the groove, and a pressure sensor fixedly connected between the placement plate and the bottom of the groove. A vacuum suction cup is located on the top of the placement plate and is connected to an air pump. A top plate is located above the base. This utility model uses a cylinder with a pressure block fixedly connected to its bottom telescopic end, allowing continuous pressure to be applied to the glass. An electromagnet is located above the top plate, and an opening is made in the top plate. The electromagnet attracts and releases a steel ball, allowing the ball to pass through the opening and fall freely onto the glass, generating impact pressure. This allows for different methods of testing the hardness of the glass, and the results are displayed visually through the pressure sensor and a monitor, enabling comparison and improving accuracy.
