Abstract

The sampler includes a sampling cylinder, a hanger, and an automatic water sample collection device. The sampling cylinder has a through hole at the bottom and a cover hinged to the top via a movable shaft. The cover can be lifted by the water sample to release air or fall back due to gravity. The automatic water sample collection device includes a piston at the through hole, a piston seat on the outer side of the bottom, and a piston guide frame on the inner side. When the piston is lowered, it floats upwards due to buoyancy, opening the through hole; when it is raised, it sinks due to water pressure, sealing with the piston seat. The piston is shaped like an inverted frustum, matching the inverted frustum-shaped through hole of the piston seat. The piston guide frame consists of an arc-shaped plate and a baffle, serving as a guide and limiting element. The piston seat is connected to the sampling cylinder via a sealing gasket. All components are made of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and stainless steel. It is easy to operate, can automatically complete sampling opening and closing, has good sealing performance, is easy to clean, and the sampling conforms to specifications, with high efficiency and accuracy.
