Abstract

This utility model discloses a linear actuator, including a housing, an outer tube, a tubular actuating element, and a lead screw. The housing houses a drive unit, and the lead screw passes through the outer tube and is connected to the drive unit. The tubular actuating element is surrounded by the outer tube and driven by the lead screw to reciprocate axially between a first position near the housing and a second position away from the housing. The housing houses two switching elements, one of which is triggered when the tubular actuating element moves to the first position, and the other is triggered when the tubular actuating element moves to the second position. Each switching element has a button that can move linearly. The linear actuator also includes two cam kinematic pairs. Each cam kinematic pair includes: a driving member, driven by the tubular actuating element to generate a displacement in the same direction; and a driven member with a pushing part, driven to rotate by the axial displacement of the driving member. The rotational movement of the driven member is configured to cause the pushing part to generate a displacement from the top of the button to the root of the button to press the button and trigger the switching element.
