An oil hole leak prevention mechanism and a speed reducer

Abstract

This invention provides an oil hole leak-proof mechanism and a speed reducer. The leak-proof mechanism includes a transition oil pipe, a connector, and a vent cap. The transition oil pipe includes a primary oil pipe, a secondary oil pipe, and a float. The secondary oil pipe is slidably connected to the inner side of the primary oil pipe, and the float is installed on the inner side of the secondary oil pipe. The float is used to float due to oil pressure and to cause the secondary oil pipe to extend and retract. The connector is installed at the bottom end of the transition oil pipe for detachable connection to the oil hole. The vent cap is installed at the top end of the transition oil pipe for venting. This invention, through the structure of the transition oil pipe, connector, and vent cap, uses the connector to connect to the oil hole, while the transition oil pipe forms an upward-extending oil buffer space at the top of the connector, which can buffer gear oil overflowing from the oil hole and prevent gear oil from spilling to the outside. Combined with the vent cap, it achieves the effect of timely ventilation while preventing gear oil from overflowing to the outside.
