Abstract

This invention provides an outer ring burner cap and a burner. The outer ring burner cap includes a burner cap body and a first partition plate. A gas-containing cavity is formed inside the burner cap body. The first partition plate is located within the gas-containing cavity and on the side of the burner hole facing radially inward towards the outer ring burner cap. The first partition plate divides the gas-containing cavity into a direct-entry cavity and a transition cavity. The direct-entry cavity is located on the side of the first partition plate facing radially outward towards the outer ring burner cap, and the transition cavity is located on the side of the first partition plate facing radially inward towards the outer ring burner cap. The direct-entry cavity is connected to both the transition cavity and the burner hole's inlet. When the gas in the transition cavity flows into the direct-entry cavity, its flow velocity is reduced by the first partition plate, reducing eddies and structural resonance generated by high-speed airflow, thereby effectively suppressing whistling. This eliminates the need to adjust the damper size, thus suppressing whistling at its structural source without closing the damper, sacrificing combustion performance, or reducing primary air.
